As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the pure cotton corduroy fabric comprises terry yarn 1 and ground yarn 2, the terry yarn 1 and the ground yarn 2 are both pure cotton yarns, the terry yarn 1 and the ground yarn 2 are combined and then knitted by a double-needle bed circular knitting machine to form terry cloth with terry stitch, and the corduroy fabric is made of the terry cloth through alternate needle drawing treatment and shearing treatment in sequence. As shown in fig. 2, the produced corduroy fabric has a bottom layer 3 and a fluff layer 4, and the fluff layer 4 is provided with a pit strip structure 41 which is arranged at intervals.

The loop structure in the present embodiment is a single-sided loop structure. The arrangement ratio of the ground yarn 2 and the loop yarn 1 can be 1:1 or 2: 1.
