Description

本实用新型涉及一种金属铸造模具,特别是浇注镇静钢用的倒锥度钢锭模。
目前,人们普遍使用的倒锥度钢锭模内腔全部呈上大下小的锥度,浇注钢水采用炉灰帽保温,由于上口存在锥度,使得炉灰保温帽与钢锭模上口配合不严,经常发生帽口线部位跑钢事故,造成产品废品,成坯率较低。
本实用新型目的是提供一种倒锥度直口钢锭模,避免发生跑钢事故,提高产品质量,解决现有技术存在的上述问题。
本实用新型的技术方案是:在普通倒锥度钢锭模的上口将锥度改为一段直线形内腔,即上口有一直线段。由于将钢锭模的上口进行了改进,可将炉灰保温帽改为绝热板,使最后凝固补缩充分,获得头部收缩极好的钢锭。
采用本实用新型,可使用绝热板保温,有利于提高钢锭质量和提高成坯率,杜绝了热帽跑钢和减少成品钢锭的加工量,降低废品量。

以下结合附图,通过实施例进一步说明本实用新型。
在实施例中,倒锥度钢锭模(1)的上口为直线段(2),由于上口内腔的一段直线型,可将炉灰帽改为绝热板(3),钢锭帽口收缩变得浅而平,深度一般30mm左右,钢锭自重比原来提高了1.25%,杜绝帽口跑钢事故,钢锭质量显著提高。

1、一种倒锥度钢锭模,特别适用于浇注镇静钢,其特征在于钢锭模(1)的上口内腔为直线段(2)。
2、根据权利要求1所述之钢锭模,其特征在于钢锭模的上口***绝热板(3)。
