本实用新型提供的新型环保型防鼠防蚁光缆，包括缆芯及外护套，缆芯内具有由光纤、纤膏、光纤套管共同构成的光纤单元以及中心加强件、填充绳，在缆芯与外护套之间依次设有内护层和玻璃纤维带层。
本实用新型的有益效果是：由于在缆芯与外护套之间设有内护层和玻璃纤维带层，增强了光缆的防鼠防蚁性能，能够适应在室外尤其是野外这种鼠患蚁患较多的场合使用，不易受损。
