所述砂磨箱无底，砂磨箱下部设置有裙边，砂磨箱上端设置有箱盖，箱盖上端设置有加料斗，以便于向砂磨箱内添加金刚砂和水。
该设备可根据需要依次串接两台或两台以上，并可与水洗设备组成自动化生产线。
本实用新型结构简单、设计合理，制造成本低，可对有划痕的次品平板玻璃进行砂磨，进一步加工成磨光玻璃，以消除平板玻璃上有划伤的缺陷，采用加水砂磨的方式，不会产生粉尘污染，产生的废水流入沉淀池，可重复使用。
