诊脉是中医诊断病情的手段之一，目前，中医在给病人诊脉时，一般是要求病人将手臂伸出，将手臂置于桌面上，然后中医进行诊脉，诊脉过程中病人的手臂不能进行固定，易产生抖动。在冬天进行诊脉时，病人的手臂放置在冰冷的桌面上，会产生不适感。
