目前，医护人员给眼疾患者进行眼部冲洗时，一般采用由不锈钢制成的受水器靠近患者眼部盛装冲洗液，该种受水器靠近眼部的一端为圆形或椭圆形，在操作过程中，医护人员很难掌握用力分寸，用力过大时非常容易损害患者脸部肌肉，用力过小时容易使受水器偏离患者眼部，使冲洗液顺着患者脸部滑落，弄脏患者的脸部，降低了患者治疗的舒适度。由此可见，现有技术有待于更进一步的改进。
