Abstract

本实用新型提供一种按键导光板,其上分布多个按键孔,该按键导光板上装配一光源,该按键导光板上设有若干开口,所述开口的侧壁将光线折射到按键孔中,靠近光源的开口的侧壁的入射角大于入射光的全反射临界角,远离光源的开口的侧壁的入射角小于靠近光源的开口的侧壁的入射角。所述本实用新型的按键导光板使用光源数量少,光线分布均匀。

技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种按键导光板。
背景技术
在移动电话等便携式电子装置设计中,常将多个发光二极管(light-emitting diode,LED)作为光源,并设置于一导光板一侧。当LED发出的光线照射到导光板表面时,即可在导光板的表面发生折射或反射,以射向所需照射的按键对应的按键孔。尽管该导光板的设计可照亮按键,但是由于导光板结构的限制,仍需要较多的LED光源,才能满足一定的亮度要求,增加了设计成本。
实用新型内容
鉴于上述内容,有必要提供一种可减少光源使用量的按键导光板。
一种按键导光板,其上分布多个按键孔,该按键导光板上装配一光源,该按键导光板上设有若干开口,所述开口的侧壁将光线折射到按键孔中,靠近光源的开口的侧壁的入射角大于入射光的全反射临界角,远离光源的开口的侧壁的入射角小于靠近光源的开口的侧壁的入射角。
优选地,所述按键导光板上设有一装配孔,所述光源装设于该装配孔内。
优选地,所述光源呈半圆柱形,其包括一发光面,该发光面与装配孔的周壁相对。
优选地,所述光源的发光面中心顶点的法线方向与导光板一端的水平方向之间的夹角为48~53度。
优选地,所述开口为三角形。
优选地,所述开口为四边形或其它多边形。
优选地,所述按键导光板采用聚碳酸酯或聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯制成。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型的按键导光板通过在其上设置多个开口,使得一个光源发出的光线经多次全反射后照亮整个按键导光板,光线分布均匀,且有效地减少了光源的使用数量。

具体实施方式
本实用新型的按键导光板适用于移动电话、PDA等电子装置。请参阅图1,该按键导光板10需一个LED光源30,通过于按键导光板10上开设一定形状的若干孔,而将光依次传到远端,进而照亮该按键导光板10。
该按键导光板10可采用聚碳酸酯(Polycarbonate,PC)或聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(Polymethyl-Methacrylate,PMMA)制成。该按键导光板10包括相对设置的一顶端12及一底端14。该按键导光板10上开设多个按键孔122、一装配孔124及多个形状不同的开口126。该按键孔122的位置与所需要照射的按键相对应,当来自LED光源30的光线传播到按键孔122时,可照亮对应的按键。该装配孔124临近顶端12设置,用以装设LED光源30。在本实施例中,该开口126可为三角形、四边形或其它多边形。每一开口126的侧壁不仅可以将一些光线经折射传播至临近的按键孔122中,以便照亮按键,而且可以将另一些光线反射出,以便传播至其他开口126。距离装配孔124较近处的开口126的侧壁设计成具有较大的入射角,即大于LED光源30所发出的入射光的全反射临界角,以使入射光能够经全反射传播至下一开口126。由于光线经多次全反射后,行进角度将变得较为窄小,此时远离装配孔124的开口126的侧壁的入射角设计也相应变小,以使入射光能均匀地传到靠近底端14的开口126。
请结合参阅图2,该LED光源30大致呈一半圆柱形,其包括一发光面32,当该LED光源30装设于装配孔124中时,该发光面32与装配孔124的周壁相对。在本实施例中,LED光源30的发光面32的中心顶点的法线方向与按键导光板10的顶端12的水平方向之间的夹角α约为48~53度。
图3以一条光线为例说明该LED光源30照亮整个按键导光板10的过程,当LED光源30的光线进入最近的一开口126,其入射角为β,由于该β角大于全反射临界角,故光线经开口126的侧壁全反射到下一个开口126,从而依次将光传播到靠近底端14的开口126。同时,在光线反射过程中,将有部分折射到临近的按键孔122中,从而照亮按键孔122对应的按键。
可以理解,本实用新型的开口126的形状不局限于上述实施例所述的形状,也可以依据不同按键孔122的布局作适应调整,同时,LED光源30装配于装配孔124中的角度也可作相应调整。
本实用新型通过在按键导光板10设置多个开口126,使得一个LED光源30发出的光线经过开口126的多次全发射后照亮整个按键导光板10,有效地较少了LED光源30的使用数量。同时通过对不同开口126侧壁的入射角角度的调整,使得光线分布更均匀。

Claims (7)

1.一种按键导光板,其上分布多个按键孔,其特征在于:该按键导光板上装配一光源,该按键导光板上设有若干开口,所述开口的侧壁将光线折射到按键孔中,靠近光源的开口的侧壁的入射角大于入射光的全反射临界角,远离光源的开口的侧壁的入射角小于靠近光源的开口的侧壁的入射角。
2.如权利要求1所述的按键导光板,其特征在于:所述按键导光板上设有一装配孔,所述光源装设于该装配孔内。
3.如权利要求2所述的按键导光板,其特征在于:所述光源呈半圆柱形,其包括一发光面,该发光面与装配孔的周壁相对。
4.如权利要求3所述的按键导光板,其特征在于:所述光源的发光面中心顶点的法线方向与导光板一端的水平方向之间的夹角为48~53度。
5.如权利要求1所述的按键导光板,其特征在于:所述开口为三角形。
6.如权利要求1所述的按键导光板,其特征在于:所述开口为四边形或其它多边形。
7.如权利要求1所述的按键导光板,其特征在于:所述按键导光板采用聚碳酸酯或聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯制成。
