Abstract
本发明涉及一种乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯热塑性弹性体胶管的制备方法。是采用单螺杆塑料挤出机一次挤出成型生产胶管。具体工艺是:(a)干燥:将胶料在50~100℃之间烘1~4个小时;(b)挤出:选择单螺杆塑料挤出机,长径比为20~38∶1之间,挤出机各阶段的温度为:机头温度:145~220℃,挤出段温度:145~220℃,塑化段温度:140~210℃,喂料段温度:140~200℃;并根据胶管的成品尺寸,对应选择机针与口型;(c)冷却:胶料从机头挤出后,在10~25℃将循环水温度下冷却定型。无需进行硫化,一次挤出成型的工艺制作EPDM+PP胶管。按照此方法制作的EPDM/PP胶管,不但解决了现有PVC胶管的低弹性和装车困难的问题,而且EPDM/PP胶管的原始性能以及耐老化性能、耐油性能较好,能够满足当前汽车行业发展的需求。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及胶管技术领域,特别涉及一种乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯热塑性弹性体胶管的制备方法。
背景技术
采用动态硫化制备的乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯(EPDM/PP)热塑性弹性体(TPE)具有优异的耐候性、耐臭氧、耐紫外线及良好的高温性能、电性能、耐冲击性能。其耐油、耐溶剂性能与通用型氯丁橡胶不相上下,同时其不需硫化即可加工成型,可以用标准的热塑型塑料的加工设备进行加工,具有加工简便、可连续生产、加工成本低,边角余料可回收使用等优点,由于其具有上述优势,在汽车行业的应用范围越来越广,使用量也越来越大。但是作为汽车上的天窗排水管,目前使用的是PVC材料,由于PVC的弹性太差,造成装车困难,很难满足汽车厂的使用要求。针对此项问题,对EPDM/PP天窗排水管的开发势在必行。
发明内容
本发明的目的是为了解决现有PVC胶管的低弹性,装车困难的问题,提出采用EPDM/PP材料并且使用塑料挤出机挤出,无需进行硫化,一次挤出成型的工艺制作EPDM+PP胶管。
EPDM/PP胶管的制备方法如下:
本发明的乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯热塑弹性体胶管的制备方法,是采用单螺杆塑料挤出机一次挤出成型生产胶管。
本发明的乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯热塑弹性体胶管的制备方法,具体工艺是:(a)干燥:将胶料在50~100℃之间烘1~4个小时;(b)挤出:选择单螺杆塑料挤出机,长径比为20~38:1之间,挤出机各阶段的温度为:机头温度:145~220℃,挤出段温度:145~220℃,塑化段温度:140~210℃,喂料段温度:140~200℃;并根据胶管的成品尺寸,对应选择机针与口型;(c)冷却:胶料从机头挤出后,在10~25℃将循环水温度下冷却定型。
由于EPDM/PP具有一定的塑料的性能,为了防止挤出过程中有气泡产生,影响胶管的使用性能,在挤出之前必须进行干燥处理,目的是将胶料中的水分挥发充分。
热塑性弹性体(TPE)是一种具有塑料特性、可重复加工的橡胶,具有优越的加工性,被称为“第三代橡胶”,共混型的TPE由于其成本低,加工方便等优点得到迅速发展,其中EPDM+PP共混型TPE的研究已取得巨大的成就,三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)是一种综合性能较好的橡胶,它的分子链上没有不饱和键,因此与其他橡胶相比,具有更好的耐老化、耐介质性能和更优异的物理性能,但其强度不高。PP是一种重要的高分子材料,其物理性能优异、耐应力开裂性能和耐磨性好,并有较好的耐热性、优良的化学稳定性和电性能以及优异的加工性能,但其缺点是低温韧性差,耐候性差,影响了其性能,将PP与EPDM按一定的比例共混,所得的共混物兼具二者优点,保持了EPDM的高弹性,克服了EPDM的塑炼时的粘辊性,有很好的抗疲劳性能、良好的耐磨性能和耐介质性能、很高的撕裂强度以及优异的耐臭氧和耐候性能。
按照此方法制作的EPDM/PP胶管,不但解决了现有PVC胶管的低弹性和装车困难的问题,而且EPDM/PP胶管的原始性能以及耐老化性能、耐油性能较好,能够满足当前汽车行业发展的需求。
具体实施方式
实施例1:
生产一种内径为12±0.5mm×15±0.5mm×1000±3mm的EPDM+PP胶管,步骤如下:
1、干燥
将EPDM/PP粒在80℃的烘箱里烘2个小时,将胶料中的水分挥发充分。
2、挤出过程
首先选择单螺杆塑料挤出机,长径比为20∶1,挤出机各阶段的温度控制如下:机头温度为:170℃,挤出段温度为:160℃,塑化段温度为:150℃,喂料段温度为:145℃。并选择13mm的机针与17mm的口型,来保证胶管的尺寸。
3、冷却过程
胶料从机头挤出后,温度较高,很难成型,必须进行冷却才能成型,将循环水温度控制在15℃,冷却定型。
由表1可以得出,EPDM+PP胶管的最大优势是它的扯断伸长率很高,可以达到667%,有很高的弹性,这也是它能够满足装车要求的根本原因。
实施例2:
生产一种内径为12±0.5mm×15±0.5mm×1000±3mm的EPDM+PP胶管,步骤如下:
1、干燥
将EPDM/PP粒在50℃的烘箱里烘4个小时,将胶料中的水分挥发充分。
2、挤出过程
首先选择单螺杆塑料挤出机,长径比为38∶1,挤出机各阶段的温度控制如下:机头温度为:220℃,挤出段温度为:220℃,塑化段温度为:210℃,喂料段温度为:200℃。并选择13mm的机针与17mm的口型,来保证胶管的尺寸。
3、冷却过程
胶料从机头挤出后,温度较高,很难成型,必须进行冷却才能成型,将循环水温度控制在10℃,冷却定型。
实施例3:
生产一种内径为12±0.5mm×15±0.5mm×1000±3mm的EPDM+PP胶管,步骤如下:
1、干燥
将EPDM/PP粒在100℃的烘箱里烘1个小时,将胶料中的水分挥发充分。
2、挤出过程
首先选择单螺杆塑料挤出机,长径比为30∶1,挤出机各阶段的温度控制如下:机头温度为:145℃,挤出段温度为:150℃,塑化段温度为:150℃,喂料段温度为:145℃。并选择13mm的机针与17mm的口型,来保证胶管的尺寸。
3、冷却过程
胶料从机头挤出后,温度较高,很难成型,必须进行冷却才能成型,将循环水温度控制在25℃,冷却定型。
将本产品的原始性能与老化性能PVC胶管做对比,结果如下:

1.一种乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯热塑弹性体胶管的制备方法,其特征是采用单螺杆塑料挤出机一次挤出成型生产胶管。
2.如权利要求1所述的乙丙橡胶/聚丙烯热塑弹性体胶管的制备方法,其特征是所述的生产胶管的方法是:(a)干燥:将胶料在50~100℃之间烘1~4个小时;(b)挤出:选择单螺杆塑料挤出机,长径比为20~38之间,挤出机各阶段的温度为:机头温度:145~220℃,挤出段温度:145~220℃,塑化段温度:140~210℃,喂料段温度:140~200℃;并根据胶管的成品尺寸,对应选择机针与口型;(c)冷却:胶料从机头挤出后,在10~25℃将循环水温度下冷却定型。
