本发明涉及在车辆的动力源中具有发动机和旋转电机(电动发电机)的混合驱动***。
背景技术
作为混合驱动***,在特开2000-343965号公报中公开了一种具有把发动机的输出通过变速机传递到车轮的路径、和把旋转电机的输出输入到变速机的路径的***。
另外,在特开2001-173479号公报中公开了一种具有驱动车辆的驱动马达和驱动发电机的发动机的混合驱动***,该***在利用发电机起动发动机时,由驱动马达来吸收转矩变动。
上述特开2000-343965号公报的***,在只依靠发动机的输出行驶车辆的情况下,旋转电机的运转虽然被维持在停止状态,但是由于旋转电机仍然被维持在与驱动***连接的状态,所以,旋转电机的惯性质量以及摩擦则成为驱动损耗,结果阻碍了发动机燃油效率的提高。
发明内容
本发明的目的是,降低旋转电机在非工作时的驱动损耗。
为了达到上述的目的,本发明提供一种车辆的混合驱动***,其特征在于包括:发动机;变速机,对输入轴的旋转进行变速后从输出轴传递给车轮;第1离合器,在发动机的输出轴与上述变速机的输入轴之间使动力传递断续;兼作电动机和发电机的旋转电机;齿轮箱,设置在上述旋转电机的输入输出轴与上述变速机的上述输入轴之间;第2离合器,使在上述旋转电机的输入输出轴与上述变速机的上述输入轴之间的动力传递断续;蓄电装置,蓄积由上述旋转电机提供的电力;旋转传感器,检测上述发动机的转速;转速传感器,检测上述旋转电机的转速;和混合电子控制装置,上述第2离合器连接时进行上述旋转电机的转速控制,直到上述旋转电机的转速与上述变速机的转速的转速差小于或等于容许转速为止,反复顺序地执行计算步骤和确定步骤,上述计算步骤基于上述发动机的转速与上述齿轮箱的变速比来计算上述旋转电机的目标转速,上述确定步骤用于确定上述旋转电机的目标转速与由上述旋转传感器检测出的上述旋转电机的转速之间的上述转速差是否小于或等于上述容许容许转速,在上述转速差小于或等于上述容许转速后,使上述第2离合器连接。

具体实施方式
在图1中,1是发动机,2是齿轮式变速机,在这两者之间设有摩擦式离合器3(第1离合器)。
发动机1使用柴油发动机或CNG发动机(以压缩天然气为燃料的发动机)。4是旋转电机(电动发电机),它具有发电机和马达的双重功能。旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a通过齿轮箱、即旋转传递机构5被连接到变速机2的输入轴2a侧。

混合ECU10通过离合致动器8来控制第1离合器3,使其连接或断开从发动机1向变速机2以及齿轮箱5(旋转传递机构)的动力传递。
为了控制发动机1的燃料供给量,具有发动机电子控制单元15(发动机ECU)。
发动机ECU15根据混合ECU10的要求来控制发动机1的燃料供给量。并且,根据来自检测发动机1的转速的发动机旋转传感器16的信号,将发动机1的转速控制为目标转速。
由制动电子控制单元20(制动ECU),根据来自混合ECU10的关于制动的信息,即旋转电机4的再生制动力以及制动踏板22的踏入量(要求制动力),控制对车轮产生制动力的制动致动器21,用制动致动器21来补充使用上述再生制动力不够的那一部分制动力。23是检测制动踏板22的踏入量的制动传感器。
从高效率和小型轻量化的方面考虑,上述旋转电机4使用永磁铁型同步电动机(IPM同步电动机),它通过变换器11与蓄电装置9连接。关于蓄电装置9,为了能够在短时间内无浪费且高效率地再生制动能量,使用相对车辆的电池容许质量而容易确保所需要的输出密度的双电荷层电容器(電気二重

变换器11根据混合ECU10的要求,把旋转电机4控制为电动模式或发电模式。变换器11在电动模式下,把蓄电装置9的充电电力(直流电)转换成交流电,并供给到旋转电机4,这样使旋转电机4作为马达而生成驱动力,而在发电模式下,把旋转电机4的发电电力(交流电)转换成直流电,并充电到蓄电装置9中。
上述齿轮箱5,由与旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a连接的驱动齿轮5a、与变速轴2的输入轴2a连接的从动齿轮5b和与这些啮合的中间齿轮5c构成。
旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a的旋转,通过齿轮箱5被减速,然后传递到变速机2的输入轴2a,另一方面,变速机2的输入轴2a的旋转通过齿轮箱5被增速,然后传递到旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a。
在旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a与驱动齿轮5a的旋转轴之间配置有啮合离合器30(第2离合器)。由混合ECU10通过离合致动器31控制第2离合器30,使其在旋转电机4的运转中维持连接状态,在旋转电机4的运转停止时切换为切断状态。
混合ECU10为了检测出进行控制所需要的运转信息,具有:检测油门踏板12的踏入量(加速器要求量)的油门踏板传感器13;检测离合器3的离合状态的离合位置传感器14;检测变速机2的齿轮位置的齿轮变速位置传感器17;检测变速机2输出侧的转速的车速传感器18(变速机2的输出旋转传感器);作为变速机2输入侧的转速而检测与旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a连结的驱动齿轮5a的转速的齿轮旋转传感器19(变速机2的输入旋转传感器);和检测旋转电机4转速(单位旋转数)的旋转传感器24。
混合ECU10根据这些各种传感器的检测信号以及包含蓄电装置9的SOC(state of Chage)的各种信息(从发动机ECU15、制动ECU20、变速机2的控制单元6、变换器11获得的信息),控制上述第1离合器3的离合致动器8、旋转电机4的变换器11、第2离合器30的离合致动器31,另一方面,发出对发动机ECU15的发动机动作要求、对制动ECU20的制动要求以及对变速机2的控制单元6的指令。
参照图2至图7来说明根据混合ECU10的控制来进行各种切换的驱动形态。
图2表示仅基于旋转电机4的输出的进发和行驶的情况。
为了从旋转电机4获得对应加速器要求量的输出,变换器11被切换到电动机模式上。此时,第2离合器30连接连接,第1离合器3断开。
如图2的粗线箭头所示,旋转电机4的输出通过第2离合器30和齿轮箱5,传递到变速机2的输入轴2a,进一步通过变速齿轮,从变速机2的输出轴2b经过传动轴32传递到车轮。
图3是只依靠发动机1的输出进行车辆的行驶的情况。
在只依靠发动机1的输出行驶时,混合ECU10向发动机ECU15发出发动机驱动要求。发动机ECU15控制发动机1的燃料供给量,以能够获得对应加速器要求量的输出。混合ECU10在切断第2离合器30,且连接了第1离合器3的状态下,停止旋转电机4的运转。
如粗线箭头所示,发动机1的输出通过第1离合器3传递到变速机2的输入轴2a,进一步通过变速齿轮,从变速机2的输出轴2b,经过传动轴32传递到车轮。
图4表示在车辆的行驶中,同时并用旋转电机4的输出和发动机1的输出的情况。
在车辆的要求驱动力大的行驶状态下,例如在爬坡行驶等时,将发动机1和旋转电机4的输出合成。
在第1离合器3和第2离合器30均成为连接的状态下,向发动机ECU15发出使发动机1输出应分担的驱动力的要求,另一方面,将变换器11切换到电动机模式,以获得由旋转电机4分担的驱动力。
如图中粗线箭头所示,旋转电机2的输出通过第2离合器30和齿轮箱5传递到变速机2的输入轴2a。另外,发动机1的输出在第1离合器3被合成,进一步通过变速齿轮从变速机2的输出轴2b,经过传动轴32传递到车轮。
图5表示由旋转电机4进行能量再生的情况。
在车辆伴随着制动器的制动而进行减速行驶的状态下,进行能量的再生,此时使旋转电机4作为发电机来发挥功能,以最大的限度对蓄电装置9充电。将变换器11切换成发电模式并向变换器11输出转矩指令值,以便从旋转电机4获得对应致动器操作量的再生制动力。
如图中粗线箭头所示,车轮的旋转从传动轴32通过变速机2的输出轴2b和变速齿轮,传递到变速机2的输入轴2a,进一步通过齿轮箱5和第2离合器30传递到旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a。据此来进行旋转电机2的再生发电,该电力通过变换器11被充电到蓄电装置9中。
制动时的车辆的惯性能量通过旋转电机4的发电,被转换成电能,并被回收到蓄电装置9中。在只依靠旋转电机4的发电不足以满足制动要求量的情况下,通过向制动ECU20发出要求,利用基于车辆的制动致动器的制动力来进行补充。
图6表示在车辆停止时对蓄电装置9进行充电的情况。
在车辆停止时的对蓄电装置9进行充电时,预先使变速机2处于空挡状态,并使第1离合器3以及第2离合器30成为连接的状态,另一方面,将对变换器11的转矩指令值控制成发电模式。而且,当使发动机1运转后,如图中粗线箭头所示,它输出从第1离合器3传递到变速机2的输入轴2a,进一步从齿轮箱5通过第2离合器30传递到旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a。旋转电机4被发动机1的输出驱动进行发电,该生成的电力被充电到蓄电装置9中。
图7表示在车辆的行驶过程中,同时对蓄电装置9进行充电的情况。
在只依靠发动机1的输出行驶的状态下(参照图3),在必须对蓄电装置9进行充电时,将第2离合器30切换成连接状态,另一方面,将对变换器11的转矩指令值控制成发电模式。如图中粗线箭头所示,发动机1的输出从变速机2的输入轴2a通过变速齿轮,并经过变速机2的输出轴2b,传递到传动轴32,同时还通过齿轮箱5和第2离合器30,传递到旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a。据此使旋转电机4作为发电机而发挥功能,进行发电,对蓄电装置9进行充电,把蓄电量提高到必要的值。
另外,上述第2离合器30在旋转电机4的运转停止时被维持为断开状态,在需要旋转电机4的运转时被切换成连接状态(参照图2、图4~图7)。在第2离合器30从断开状态被切换为连接状态时,只有在其输入侧与输出侧的转速接近一致时才能顺利地连接。
因此,在本发明中,在连接第2离合器30时,使旋转电机4作为马达而发挥功能,使变速机侧的转速达到基本一致后,再进行离合器连接。
图8是用于说明在第2离合器30的向连接状态的切换时,混合ECU10的控制内容的流程图。
在步骤S1中,当需要旋转电机4的运转时,发出将第2离合器30切换到连接状态的要求。
在步骤S2中,根据发动机旋转传感器16的检测信号,求出旋转电机4的目标转速(相当于第2离合器30的齿轮箱5侧的转速)。根据发动机1的转速和齿轮箱5的变速比来计算出目标转速。然后,把对旋转电机4的变换器11转矩控制,切换成转速控制,并且把与第2离合器30的齿轮箱5侧的转速相当的目标转速作为转速控制的指令值输出。
在步骤S3中,从检测旋转电机4的实际转速(相当于第2离合器的旋转电机侧的转速)的转速传感器24读取其信号。然后,把基于发动机转速的目标转速与旋转电机4的实际转速进行比较,判断两者(第2离合器30的齿轮箱5侧的转速与第2离合器30的旋转电机4侧的转速)的转速差是否小于等于容许转速(例如是0~100RPM)。
在步骤S3的判断结果为“否”时,返回步骤S2,等待转速差下降到容许转速以下,而当S3的判断结果为“是”时,则进入步骤S4,向第2离合器30的离合致动器发出连接要求。在步骤S5中,把对于旋转电机4的变换器11转速控制,切换成转矩控制,并且控制变换器11的转矩指令值,以便能够从旋转电机4获得必要的发电转矩或牵引力矩。
另外,在步骤S2中,由于不是根据发动机转速检测值和齿轮箱的变速比来计算目标转速,而是由齿轮旋转传感器15检测出与旋转电机4的输入输出轴4a连接的驱动齿轮5a的转速,所以,也可以把其检测信号作为目标转速。
如图3所示,第2离合器30在旋转电机4的停止运转时被维持在断开状态。旋转电机4在只依靠发动机1的输出行驶的情况下,与齿轮箱5分离,其惯性质量和摩擦不会影响驱动***,所以可促进发动机1的燃油效率的提高。
另外,例如图4所示,在旋转电机4的运转成为必要时,第2离合器30被切换到连接状态。此时,旋转电机4在混合ECU10的转速控制下,迅速地收敛至目标转速(相当于第2离合器30的齿轮箱5侧的转速),当目标转速与旋转电机4侧的转速的转速差减小到规定的容许范围内时,第2离合器30被切换成连接状态。因此,第2离合器30的向连接状态的切换,可在短时间内合理而顺畅地进行。据此可获得如下的效果,即,在第2离合器30的连接时,可防止冲击和异音(啮合时的齿轮碰撞音等)的发生,可有效地确保第2离合器30的可靠性和耐久性。
在图1中,也可以把第2离合器30不设置在齿轮箱5与旋转电机4之间,而设置在变速机2与齿轮箱5之间。在这种情况下,从动齿轮5b的旋转轴与变速机2的输入轴2a被分别设置,并具有将这些相互连接的另一组齿轮机构。而且,第2离合器30被设置在从动齿轮5b的旋转轴与上述另一组齿轮机构的旋转轴(被配置在从动齿轮的旋转轴的同轴上)之间,在变速机2与齿轮箱5之间构成动力传递的连接或断开的结构。
即使在这样的第2离合器30的配置中,在只依靠发动机1的输出来行驶的情况下,通过把第2离合器30维持在断开状态,不仅把旋转电机4而且还把齿轮箱5也从驱动***上断开,所以可以进一步减少摩擦损耗,从而对提高发动机1的燃油效率起到促进作用。
本发明的混合驱动***可以应用于各种车辆的驱动***。

Claims (5)

1.一种车辆的混合驱动***,其特征在于包括:
发动机(1);
变速机(2),对输入轴的旋转进行变速后从输出轴传递给车轮;
第1离合器(3),在发动机(1)的输出轴与上述变速机(2)的输入轴之间使动力传递断续;
兼作电动机和发电机的旋转电机(4);
齿轮箱(5),设置在上述旋转电机(4)的输入输出轴与上述变速机(2)的上述输入轴之间;
第2离合器(30),在上述旋转电机(4)的输入输出轴与上述变速机(2)的上述输入轴之间的动力传递断续;
蓄电装置(9),蓄积由上述旋转电机(4)提供的电力;
旋转传感器(16),检测上述发动机(1)的转速;
转速传感器(24),检测上述旋转电机(4)的转速;和
混合电子控制装置(10),上述第2离合器(30)连接时进行上述旋转电机(4)的转速控制,直到上述旋转电机(4)的转速与上述变速机(2)的转速的转速差小于或等于容许转速为止,反复顺序地执行计算步骤(S2)和确定步骤(S3),上述计算步骤基于上述发动机(1)的转速与上述齿轮箱(5)的变速比来计算上述旋转电机(4)的目标转速,上述确定步骤用于确定上述旋转电机(4)的目标转速与由上述旋转传感器(6)检测出的上述旋转电机(4)的转速之间的上述转速差是否小于或等于上述容许转速,在上述转速差小于或等于上述容许转速后,使上述第2离合器(30)连接。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆的混合驱动***,其特征在于:
在上述第2离合器(30)连接后,上述混合电子控制装置(10)将上述旋转电机(4)的转速控制切换成转矩控制。
3.根据权利要求1所述的车辆的混合驱动***,其特征在于:
在上述旋转电机(4)与上述齿轮箱(5)之间设置上述第2离合器(30)。
4.根据权利要求1所述的车辆的混合驱动***,其特征在于:
在上述齿轮箱(5)与上述变速机(2)的上述输入轴之间设置上述第2离合器(30)。
5.根据权利要求1所述的车辆的混合驱动***,其特征在于:
上述蓄电装置由双电荷层电容器构成。
