Abstract

Description

燃油泵
本发明涉及到一种燃油泵,用于将燃油输送至汽车油箱。该燃油泵具有:被驱动的、在外壳中旋转的叶轮;导叶的轮缘,设置在叶轮的两个端面上,该导叶限定了叶片室,其中相对布置的叶片室连接起来;局部环状油道,设置在导叶的区域中在进油端外壳部分和出油端外壳部分中,这些局部环状油道和叶片室一起构成了输送室,用于将流体从进油道送至出油道,其中局部环状油道的其中一个和进油道相连,另一个油道,即相对的那个局部环状油道和出油道相连。
这种被称为***通道泵或侧通道泵的燃油泵,在当今的汽车油箱中经常被使用。局部环状油道所延伸的圆周角度在300度到330度之间。
目前已有的燃油泵的一个缺点就是当输送的流体溢流时,在叶片室的区域出现涡流。这些涡流导致了燃油泵的低的效率,特别是当输送热燃油时会导致气泡。这些气泡导致了燃油泵的效率进一步降低。
本发明的目的就是设计一种开头所述类型的燃油泵,使得其具有尽可能高的效率。
根据本发明,这个目的这样来实现:即,进油端外壳部分的局部环状油道从进油道开始就持续地收缩和/或出油端外壳部分的局部环状油道朝向出油道持续地扩大,并且这种连续的收缩和扩大的部分延伸了其相应的局部环状油道长度的至少80%。
通过这种设计,使得待输送的流体持续地从进油端外壳部分的局部环状油道输送至出油端外壳部分的局部环状油道。这样也可使得在两个局部环状外壳部分中产生朝着出油道的均匀的压力增长。这就意味着当流体从进油道运动至出油道的时候,均匀的流量通过相对布置的叶片室。因此防止了在已知的燃油泵中当流体从一个叶片室溢流至另一个相对布置的叶片室的时候,这些叶片室越靠近出油道流速越大。根据本发明的这种燃油泵因此具有非常高的效率。
在输送室中的突然的流量的波动导致了待输送的燃油冒出气泡,特别是当燃油在高温下被输送的时候。根据本发明的另一有利的改进方案,如果在局部环状油道的长度的预定区域内连续地收缩或者扩大,就轻易地避免了这种流量的突变。
根据本发明的另一有利的改进方案,如果至少一个局部环状油道沿着输送室的截面设计为楔形,那么就可以简单地设计局部环状油道的收缩和扩大。根据本发明的另一有利的改进方案,如果输送室在任何一点基本上具有相同的横截面,其中,进油端外壳部分的局部环状油道的横截面在进油道附近比出油端外壳部分的局部环状油道的横截面更大,那么就可以进一步减少输送室中的压力波动。

图1示出了一种将要被安装在汽车油箱中的燃油输送单元,其包括外壳1和被电机2驱动的侧通道泵型式的燃油泵3。燃油泵3具有一个布置在进油端外壳部分4和出油端外壳部分5之间的叶轮6。进油道7布置在进油端外壳部分4中,出油道8布置在出油端外壳部分5中。叶轮6被固定在电机2的轴9上。燃油泵3具有导叶11的轮缘,设置在叶轮6的两个相对端面上,该导叶了限定叶片室10。外壳部分4、5的每一个在叶片室10的区域都有一个局部环状油道12、13。局部环状油道12、13和叶片室10一起构成了从进油道7通过叶轮6到出油道8的输送室14。出于简化的目的,进油道7和出油道8被显示成平面投影的形式。通常,输送室14延伸通过一个大约为300至330°的角度范围。当叶轮6转动时,导叶11在输送室14中产生横向于导叶11的方向的循环流动。这样所输送的燃油从进油端外壳部分4通过相互连接的叶片室10流至出油端外壳部分5。
图2示出了通过图1在输送室14的区域中的燃油泵的一个切向剖面图,布置在进油端外壳部分4的局部环状油道12从进油道7开始在流动方向上收缩。此外,布置在出油端外壳部分5上的局部环状油道13在流动方向上朝着出油道8扩大。为了更加清楚的示出,图中以箭头标出燃油流动和叶轮6的运动方向。扩大和收缩的部分几乎延伸至局部环状油道12、13的整个长度,每一个几乎都有一个楔形形状。局部环状油道12、13以相同的程度来扩大和收缩,这样在局部环状油道12、13的整个区域中输送室14基本上具有同样的横截面。

Claims (4)

1.一种燃油泵,用于将燃油输送至汽车油箱,该燃油泵具有:被驱动的、在外壳中旋转的叶轮;导叶轮缘,设置在叶轮的两个端面上,该导叶限定了叶片室,其中,相对布置的叶片室连接起来;局部环状油道,设置在导叶的区域中在进油端外壳部分和出油端外壳部分中,所述局部环状油道和叶片室一起构成了输送室,用于将流体从进油道送至出油道,其中,局部环状油道的其中一个和进油道相连,而另外一个油道,即相对的那个局部环状油道和出油道相连,其特征在于:所述进油端外壳部分(4)的局部环状油道(12)从进油道(7)开始收缩和/或所述出油端外壳部分(5)的局部环状油道(13)朝向出油道(8)扩大;收缩或者扩大的部分延伸了相应的局部环状油道(12、13)长度的至少80%。
2.根据权利要求1所述的燃油泵,其特征在于,在所述局部环状油道(12、13)的长度的预定区域持续地收缩和扩大。
3.根据权利要求1或2中所述的燃油泵,其特征在于,所述局部环状油道(12、13)中的至少一个沿着输送室的截面设计为楔形。
4.根据上述权利要求中至少一项所述的燃油泵,其特征在于,所述输送室(14)在任何一点基本上具有相同的横截面,在进油道(7)附近,进油端外壳部分(4)的局部环状油道(12)的横截面比在出油端外壳部分(5)的局部环状油道(13)的横截面更大。
