发明内容
本发明通过提供用于镇静和止痛***的设备和方法解决了自动药物注入设备的上述缺点,该设备和方法使得***能够在不污染无菌区域或者破坏无菌状态的情况下在无菌区域内操作。使用本发明,即使参与医疗过程的临床医师也能够在不污染无菌区域、正在操作的临床医师或者患者的情况下通过用户接口操作镇静和止痛***。
用于该镇静和止痛***的用户接口的形式可以是触敏计算机监视器、按键键盘或者允许操作者控制***的等同物。在一些实施例中,提供一种无菌屏(screen)或者用柔软且透明的材料制成的套(sleeve),它们允许用户按压屏或者套来操作用户接口。镇静和止痛***可以包括用于部分或全部***的可重复使用的套,该套是抗污染的、可拆除的并且在适当消毒后可重新应用的。
可替换地,该***可以包括用于部分或全部***的一次性套,该套在每次医疗过程后被除去。根据本发明的镇静和止痛***也可以包括用抗菌剂浸渗的一次性用户接口。用如果试图清洗就会降解的材料制造用户接口或无菌屏可以促进这种单次使用特性。

在本发明的一个实施例中,投药命令61包括正常键66、剂团(bolus)键67、统计键68、净化键69和停止键70。正常键66可以使与镇静和止痛***22相关的药物输送返回至初始目标注入率。例如,用户13可以启动统计药物注入(stat drug infusion),其中用户13增加投放药物的目标作用位置浓度。在统计注入之后,用户13可以确定初始目标作用位置浓度是合乎需要的,并且可以按下正常键66,返回初始目标作用位置浓度。剂团键67允许用户13在医疗过程中在任何点输送剂团药物注入,其中用户13可以通过数字键59和/或通过多次按下剂团键67输入剂团水平,其中剂团键67的每一次按下对应于目标作用位置浓度的预定增加,可以要求用户13在剂团键67被按下或者否则被启动之后通过按OK键58来确认每次顺序增加。
在本发明的一个实施例中,统计键68增加目标作用位置浓度,目标作用位置浓度可以是预定的或者是通过数字键59输入的。在本发明的一个实施例中,净化键69启动任何剩余药物的药物注入管(未视出)的自动清洁。例如,可以在医疗过程完成时按下净化键69以从药物输送19中除去任何残留药物。停止键70可以被用来停止药物输送。

无菌远程接口50可以用任何合适的材料制造,诸如例如丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS),并且可以由任何合适的电源诸如例如电池供电。与无菌远程接口50相关联的键可以是硬按钮、软按钮、触敏LCD按钮或者任何其它合适的输入数据的装置。这些键可以被设置在无菌远程接口50的任何合适的构造中,比如根据任何合适的形式、语言、颜色和/或次序为用户13提供易用性。本发明进一步包括具有有线连接诸如例如RS-232连接(未显示)的无菌远程接口50,其中接口50和有线连接两者都可以被密封在无菌套中。
图7图示说明了无菌覆盖物73的一个实施例,其中无菌覆盖物73可以适合于覆盖镇静和止痛***22。在本发明的一个实施例中,无菌覆盖物73包括被单70,被单70可以被盖在用户接口12和/或镇静和止痛***22的任何其它合适的部件上。无菌覆盖物73可以适合于完全包裹镇静和止痛***22或者仅覆盖那些可能会潜在地污染无菌区域的地方。无菌覆盖物73进一步包括开口端71,开口端71可以被拉过镇静和止痛***22以确保用户13不污染镇静和止痛***22并且镇静和止痛***22不污染用户13和/或患者18。无菌覆盖物73进一步包括在被单70中的一个或多个开口,组件,诸如例如药物注入管可以通过该开口。在本发明的一个实施例中,无菌覆盖物73由透明的或者半透明的材料,诸如例如聚丙烯或者聚乙烯制造,使得用户13可以通过被单70查看和/或操作用户接口12和/或镇静和止痛***22的其它特征。

在本发明的一个实施例中,步骤103包括用户13在无菌区域中操作镇静和止痛***22。镇静和止痛***22的使用可以通过用户接口12、无菌远程接口50或者由任何其它合适的查看和/或操作镇静和止痛***22的装置来完成。在步骤103之后,方法100可以进行到步骤104。
步骤104包括完成涉及镇静和止痛***22的过程,用户13可以断开患者接口17、药物输送19,和/或任选地关闭镇静和止痛***22的电源。在涉及镇静和止痛***22的过程完成之后,方法100可以进行到步骤105。
在本发明的一个实施例中,步骤105包括抛弃无菌用户接口40、无菌套52、无菌覆盖物73或者任何其它合适的被提供以确保用户13不污染镇静和止痛***22并且镇静和止痛***22不污染患者18和/或用户13的装置。可以进一步设想,用户接口40、无菌套52、无菌覆盖物73和/或其它的确保无菌的装置可以在适当消毒后被重复使用。
尽管本文中显示和描述了本发明的示例性实施例,但本领域的技术人员应该明白,这些实施例仅仅以示例方式提供。在不脱离此处由申请人公开的本发明的范围的情况下,大量的非实质性的变型、改变和替换现在对于本领域的技术人员来说也是显而易见的。因此,本发明意图仅由被许可时的权利要求的精神和范围所限定。

Claims (35)

1、一种镇静和止痛***,包括:
患者健康监视器设备,用于与患者相连接并且产生反应患者的至少一个生理状况的信号;
用户接口,用于允许用户将输入内容输入,其中所述输入内容在不破坏无菌状态的情况下被输入;
药物输送控制器,用于提供一种或多种药物给患者;
存储设备,用于存储安全数据集,该安全数据集反应至少一个被监视的患者生理状况的安全的和不合需要的参数;以及
电子控制器,互连在患者健康监视器、药物输送控制器和存储安全数据集的存储设备之间,其中所述电子控制器接收所述信号并且作为响应根据安全数据集管理药物应用。
2、如权利要求1所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述用户接口由进行医疗过程的临床医师在无菌区域内使用。
3、如权利要求1所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述用户接口是无菌用户接口。
4、如权利要求3所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述用户接口是抗污染的。
5、如权利要求3所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述无菌用户接口包括监视器、监视器屏、按键键盘和按键键盘屏,所述屏中的每一个覆盖所述用户接口的操作期间通常被接触的表面。

14、如权利要求13所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述屏在医疗过程完成之后被除去并被抛弃。
15、如权利要求14所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述屏用一材料制造,其中该材料在试图清洗所述屏时就会降解。

17、如权利要求5所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述监视器屏和所述按键键盘屏被抗微生物剂浸渗。

19、如权利要求18所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述无菌套是透明的并且包括环绕所述套以便在所述无菌套内形成口袋的封条。
20、如权利要求19所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述远程接口包括报警命令、投药命令、统计命令和数据输入及操作命令之中的至少一个。
21、如权利要求19所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述套在医疗过程完成之后被除去并被抛弃。
22、如权利要求1所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述用户接口包括无菌被单,该无菌被单可以被盖在所述镇静和止痛***的合适的部分上以便防止可能的污染接触所述用户和所述患者。
23、如权利要求22所述的镇静和止痛***,其中所述无菌被单完全包裹所述镇静和止痛***。
24、一种操作镇静和止痛***的方法,包括如下步骤:
将药物输送设备连接至患者,该药物输送设备具有提供一种或多种药物的药物输送控制器,所述药物输送控制器被连接至电子控制器,该电子控制器控制给所述患者的药物输送;
连接至少一个患者健康监视器设备至患者,该健康监视器设备产生反映患者的至少一个生理状况的值并且被连接至所述电子控制器;
用无菌覆盖物覆盖用于所述镇静和止痛***的至少部分用户接口;
通过所述用户接口和无菌覆盖物操作所述镇静和止痛***;
访问存储有反映至少一个患者生理状况的参数的安全数据集的存储设备;以及
根据所述安全数据集输送药物给所述患者。
25、如权利要求24所述的方法,其中所述用户接口包括显示器和按键键盘,它们中的每一个在所述用户接口的操作期间通常被用户接触。
26、如权利要求25所述的方法,其中所述无菌覆盖物的至少一部分是透明的。
27、如权利要求25所述的方法,其中所述覆盖物包括用于将所述无菌覆盖物可分离地连接至所述用户接口的附连表面。
28、如权利要求25所述的方法,还包括在医疗过程完成之后除去并抛弃所述无菌覆盖物。

30、一种在对患者所实施的医疗过程期间维持无菌区域的同时由用户使用镇静和止痛***的方法,包括如下步骤:
为镇静和止痛***提供用户接口、患者接口、药物输送***和电源;
将所述用户接口封闭在无菌屏内,以便允许在无菌区域内使用所述镇静和止痛***;
在无菌区域内操作所述镇静和止痛***;
完成涉及所述镇静和止痛***的过程,所述完成步骤包括断开所述患者接口和断开所述药物输送***;以及
除去所述无菌屏使得所述用户不污染所述镇静和止痛***、所述患者和所述用户中的任何一个。
31、如权利要求30所述的方法,其中所述用户接口是远程接口、LCD显示器、按键键盘或者其它合适的查看和/或操作镇静和止痛***的装置之中的一个。
32、如权利要求30所述的方法,其中所述无菌屏包括无菌用户接口、无菌套和无菌覆盖物之中的至少一个。
