Description

地毯基底布
本发明涉及用作地毯基底布的无纺织物,包括聚合的皮芯型双组分长丝,所述皮芯型双组分长丝的聚合芯组分比聚合皮组分具有更高的熔点,通过施加热将所述双组分长丝粘合在一起形成所述无纺织物。
美国专利4,842,915公开了一种由聚酯基质型长丝组成的纺粘织物,它适合用作地毯的簇绒底布。粘合的织物底布由聚酯基质型长丝组成,并用作为粘合组分的聚烯烃粘结。粘合组分是热塑性的可软化长丝形式,有利地由聚丙烯组成。包括含有粘合纤维的纺粘织物的地毯基底布外观上经常出现不均匀性。并且,很多时候,这种织物的整体强度还有提高的空间。
此外,适用于地毯基底布的包括具有聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯芯和聚酰胺皮的双组分长丝的无纺织物是已知的,所述双组分长丝下面也称作PET/PA双组分长丝。基于PET/PA双组分长丝的无纺织物易于模塑,表现出良好的均匀性,并且当用作地毯基底布时也具有相当的强度。
遗憾的是,含有基于PET/PA的基底布的模压地毯表现出较高的收缩性。模压地毯对于本领域技术人员来说是已知的,在此不需要详细说明。当制备具有基于PET/PA的地毯基底布的汽车地毯时,还需要较高的模压温度。
本发明致力于至少减少上述问题。此外,本发明的目的是提供一种用作地毯基底布的无纺织物,它易于制造并且成本低廉,表现出良好的长期稳定性和易于模塑性。
令人惊奇的是,本发明的目的可以通过本文开始描述的无纺织物达到,其中聚合的皮组分选自聚丙烯和包括聚丙烯的共聚物和/或它们的混合物。
特别优选的是丙烯均聚物。
与现有技术中用作地毯基底布的无纺织物相比,本发明的无纺织物由于下述事实提高了均匀性,即不需要粘合纤维,同时具有充足的粘合点,这赋予织物以强度和对机械损伤的抵抗力。因此,本发明的无纺织物整体上由双组分长丝组成。结果,粘合步骤中,长丝之间的每个接触点形成粘结点。与此相反,某种程度上,美国专利4,842,915的无纺织物往往含有仅由一种聚合物即聚酯基质组成的长丝。
包括本发明无纺织物的汽车地毯可以更容易地模压,并且模压后表现出更低的收缩性。事实上,在无纺织物的任何地方,聚丙烯形成覆盖芯聚合物的连续相。由于聚丙烯高的化学惰性,无纺织物也表现出良好的耐化学品性。许多地毯在簇绒之后必须染色;连续相的疏水性削弱了染料的吸液率,这是一个经济上的优点。
当聚合芯组分的熔点比聚丙烯皮组分的熔点高30℃,优选超过50℃时,这是本发明无纺织物的另一个优点。在形成无纺织物时,聚合芯组分的熔融温度与粘合温度或模压温度之间较大的差异,防止了加工过程中聚合芯组分机械性能的降低。除了粘合时聚合芯组分的低降解之外,芯组分也存在更少的结构变化,这确保了双组分长丝的整体性能保持更好。
当利用聚丙烯作为聚合皮组分时,粘合温度明显低于用例如聚酰胺6时的温度,后者需要更高的温度。
对于聚合芯组分,它优先选自聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸1,4-丁二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸对苯二酚酯、脂肪族聚酰胺、聚苯醚和/或它们的共聚物或混合物。最优选聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯作为聚合芯组分。
一般情况下,聚合芯组分与聚合皮组分之间的比例为60∶40至95∶5%vol/vol。典型的实例是73vol%的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯作为聚合芯组分和27vol%聚丙烯。
本发明的无纺织物中,聚合皮芯型双组分长丝确保了大的接触面积和形成良好强度和分布的粘结点。
双组分长丝的线密度通常在1至25dtex范围内,优选2至15dtex范围内。
当用于地毯基底布时,本发明的无纺织物结合了长期稳定性和易于模塑性。对于簇绒来说,它还表现出良好的性能,即用一层无纺织物在不进行额外改性的前提下实现的良好的机械锚固性,而所述改性会在地毯基底布上又形成多余的一层。

JP2-139465公开了用作地毯第二层底布的无纺织物,该无纺织物是由用聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯作芯组分和聚丙烯作皮组分的皮芯型复合材料制成的。然而,该出版物既没有说明也没有教导,该无纺织物可以用作地毯基底布。

实施例
利用已有的熔纺技术和皮芯型喷丝板制造双组分PET/PP纱,以使每根长丝具有皮芯构型,其中芯是由相对粘度为1.65的PET制成的,并且根据ISO 1133,在230℃/2.16kg条件下,PP皮层的融体流动速率(MFR)为23g/10min。PET的相对粘度是利用1g PET在100g间甲酚中得到的粘度。皮芯比例为73.7/26.3(v/v)。长丝束在吹风箱和紧接着的斜槽中冷却。在卷绕部分,长丝被拉伸2.1倍,并以2320m/min的速度卷绕。总纱支数为1200dtex。使用展网机并在165℃进行热粘合,由所述纱制成无纺织物。
所得无纺织物重120g/m2。机械方向和横向机械方向的强度分别为360和330N/5cm。断裂应变为80%。该无纺织物适合作为汽车地毯的基底布。必要的加工步骤如簇绒、染色、涂层、加重层和第二层底布以及模压后,得到了具有良好尺寸稳定性的模压地毯。160℃下处理15分钟后,深度拉伸模塑地毯的收缩率在机械方向小于2%,在横向机械方向为0%。

Claims (7)

1.用作地毯基底布的无纺织物包括聚合的皮芯型双组分长丝,其中聚合芯组分比聚合皮组分具有更高的熔点,通过施加热将所述双组分长丝粘结在一起形成所述织物,其特征在于聚合的皮组分选自聚丙烯和包括聚丙烯的共聚物和/或它们的混合物。
2.权利要求1所述的无纺织物,其特征在于聚合芯组分的熔点比聚丙烯皮组分的熔点高超过30℃,优选超过50℃。
3.权利要求1或2所述的无纺织物,其特征在于聚合芯组分选自聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸1,4-丁二醇酯、聚对苯二甲酸对苯二酚酯、脂肪族聚酰胺、聚苯醚和/或它们的共聚物或混合物。
4.上述权利要求中任一项所述的无纺织物,其特征在于聚合芯组分与聚合皮组分之间的比例为60∶40至95∶5%vol/vol。
5.包括地毯基底布的地毯,其特征在于地毯基底布包括权利要求1至4中任一项所述的无纺织物。
