Abstract
本发明涉及一种制造一体式活塞的方法,在活塞环区域,在活塞环区与该盒形的活塞体之间具有一个封闭的冷却管(8)和一个槽(7)。该方法包括下列步骤:通过锻造的方法制造活塞坯,通过加工制造该环形槽(7),使得该活塞裙(4)的上端部能够与活塞顶之下的径向内部区域保持连接。该槽(7)的轴向高度至少等于该冷却管(8)的轴向高度。该底部开口的冷却管(8)通过机械加工和轮内镗的方法加工而成,并且精加工该活塞的外轮廓。该底部开口的冷却管以两个零件的环盖(10)封闭。
Description
本发明涉及一种制造具有冷却管的一体式活塞的方法。
在实际操作中,已经得知了这样一种由钢材铸造而成的活塞。为了得到一个封闭的冷却管,必须使用可拆卸的铸造型芯,这使得生产过程复杂同时增加成本。
美国专利No.4,608,947也公开了一种一体式冷却管活塞。然而,该文献没有说明制造这样一种活塞的方法。
本发明所要解决的技术问题是,提供一种制造具有封闭冷却管的一体式活塞的方法,其在装配构造方面简单可行。
为了解决上述问题,本发明提供了一种制造具有封闭冷却管的一体式活塞的方法,该冷却管沿圆周向延伸到活塞顶,并与活塞环带平齐,同时该活塞具有在活塞环带及盒状的活塞裙之间的环形槽。该活塞裙与活塞销壳相连,该活塞销壳在活塞顶悬垂而下进入活塞顶下部的径向内部区域。该方法包括锻造活塞坯,加工在活塞环带和盒状活塞裙之间的环形槽,该环形槽的加工深度使得该裙部的上端与该顶部下面的径向内部区域保持连接,加工向下开口的冷却管,制造销壳孔和精加工活塞的外轮廓,以及用一个环盖将向下开口的冷却管封闭。
根据现有技术的情况,也有必要提到组合活塞(铰接活塞),其中,活塞顶面与活塞销连接在一起,仅仅通过活塞销与活塞裙分离(参见,例如,DE-OS 36 43 039)。在这样一种组合活塞中,冷却管位于活塞的顶部并开口于底部,该冷却管以分离的金属片环封闭。制造这种冷却管可以只通过将活塞分成两个部件来进行,然而,因为活塞裙必须另外单独制造,这会导致制造组合活塞的成本增加。此外,与本发明的一体式活塞相比,这种组合活塞需要更长的活塞销,这增加了重量。
美国专利No.5,778,533中也公开了一种制造一体式冷却管活塞的方法,本发明参考了其公开的内容。本发明改进了该专利,其是通过加工该环形槽以便活塞裙的上端部与顶部之下的径向内部区域保持连接。该连接可延伸一整圈,也可以支杆式的和仅仅在选定的位置进行连接。
本发明是先前一体式活塞的改进,因为其具有更大的设计强度,并因此在高压力区域具有相对更高的安全限度。另外,由于更刚性的设计,缩减了活塞的副运动,这导致更少的环运动,从而减少了磨损和降低了油耗,并且降低了气穴现象发生的风险。另外,改进的设计使得侧面的负载分布得更均匀,从而减少了气缸的线性磨损。最后,本发明的活塞更容易制造。其车削操作很少会被打断,并且不需要清理毛刺的工作。在某种情况下,裙部的刚性使得仅仅通过裙部就足以导向该活塞,如果愿意,可以省掉环带区域的导向。
本发明的其它目的和特点在随后结合附图对本发明的详细描述中将会变得更清楚。可以理解,附图仅仅是示例本发明,而不是用以限定本发明的。

图1和图2显示了根据已知的落锤锻造方法制造的一体式活塞坯1。加工完成的活塞轮廓以点划线示出。活塞坯1包括一个活塞顶2,其上以后加工有活塞环带3,活塞裙4以及悬垂于活塞顶2的活塞销壳5。该活塞坯可以由可锻造的钢材或铝合金制成。
图3和图4显示了根据本发明的加工方法加工好的活塞6。在第一加工步骤中,活塞坯1通过机械加工(车削)加工有环形槽7,其中其轴向高度稍微比后面的冷却管8的高度大。然而,活塞顶2没有完全与活塞裙4分离,仍旧在四周相接。尽管优选沿圆周全部连接,该连接部13既可以是圆周全部连接的,也可以是支柱似的连接,在连接部的某些点处断开。
为了制造向下开口的冷却管8,钩状车刀15伸入槽7中,通过按需要沿轴向和径向调整刀具15,车削出所需形状的冷却管8。接下来,用已知方法加工销孔9,并加工活塞6的外轮廓。
为了封闭向下开口的冷却管8,分成两个零件的环盖10(例如,分开的盘形弹簧)以一定初始压力***活塞顶2,并配合支撑。环盖10设置有冷却油的进入孔11和排出孔12。
具有封闭冷却管的一体式活塞能够以较低的成本通过该方法制造,并且,例如,因为活塞材料可以自由选择,也就是说,可以选择锻造钢材或锻造铝合金,其比铸造生产的活塞具有更大的强度,从而该活塞更适合用于高压力的柴油机中。
另外,加工该槽以便活塞裙的上端能够与活塞顶下部的径向内部区域相连,使得其具有更大的设计强度,相应地,在高压力区域具有更高的安全限度。由于更刚性的设计,减少了活塞的副运动,这使得环运动减少,从而降低了磨损和降低了油耗,并降低了气穴现象发生的危险。在某种情况下,活塞裙的刚性使得仅仅通过裙部就足以导向该活塞,如果愿意,可以省掉环带区域的导向。
改进的设计使得侧向的负载分布更均匀,从而降低了气缸的线性磨损。最后,本发明的活塞更容易加工。其车削操作很少会被打断,并不再需要清理毛刺的工作。
因此,虽然本发明仅仅描述和显示了几个具体实施方式,很明显,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可以对本发明作出多种变化和修改。
Claims (9)
1.一种由活塞坯制造用于发动机的一体式活塞的方法,该活塞具有封闭的冷却管,其在活塞顶内与活塞环带平齐地环状延伸,该活塞还具有在活塞环带和盒状活塞裙之间的环形槽,其中该活塞裙与悬垂于活塞顶的活塞销壳相连,该方法包括下列步骤:
锻造该活塞坯(1);
加工该环形槽(7),使得该活塞裙的上端能够与活塞顶之下的径向内部区域保持连接;
加工向下开口的冷却管(8);
加工活塞销孔(9)并精加工该活塞(6)的外轮廓;
以一个环盖(10)封闭该向下开口的冷却管(8)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,该环形槽(7)的轴向高度至少与该冷却管的轴向高度一致。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,该环盖(10)分成两个零件。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,加工冷却管的步骤包括在冷却管(8)的槽内***一个钩状的车刀,并轴向和径向调整该车刀以车削出所需形状的冷却管。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,该活塞材料是可锻造的、绝热的钢材。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,该活塞材料是可锻造的铝合金。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,活塞裙上端和活塞顶之下的径向内部区域之间的连接是圆周的。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中,活塞裙上端和活塞顶之下的径向内部区域之间的连接是支柱式的。
9.一种从活塞坯(1)制造的用于发动机的一体式活塞,该活塞具有封闭的冷却管(8),其在活塞顶(2)内与活塞环带平齐地环状延伸,该活塞还具有在活塞环带和盒状活塞裙(4)之间的环形槽(7),其中该活塞裙与悬垂于活塞顶的活塞销壳相连,其特征在于,该活塞裙(4)的上端部与活塞顶(2)之下的径向内部区域之间具有一个连接部(13)。
