对苯基苯酚生产工艺
技术领域:本发明涉及一种对苯基苯酚的生产工艺。
背景技术:对苯基苯酚其分子式为C12H10O,是十分重要的有机化工中间体,广泛用于合成对苯基苯酚甲醛树酯,红光增感染料、绿光增感染料等,是彩色胶片的主要原料之一。目前国内主要由磺化生产苯酚的蒸馏残渣经高真空分馏分离而得。国外主要采用二苯酚碱熔酸解和联苯磺化,碱熔两种合成方法生产。这几种工艺生产的对苯基苯酚成本高,纯度低。
发明内容:本发明的目的就是提供一种生产成本低、纯度高的对苯基苯酚的生产工艺。
本发明采用联苯作原材料,经磺化、碱熔、中和、精制等工艺制得。磺化过程中采用氯磺酸作磺化剂,溶剂A作溶解剂,所述溶剂A为无色或淡黄色至棕色油状液体,相对密度(水=1)1.126,熔点-23℃活点228℃,不溶于水,溶于醇等多数有机溶剂,稳定不聚合,可燃,车间最高允许浓度为5mg/m3,将联苯投入反应器,加入溶剂A搅拌溶解,再缓缓地加入氯磺酸进行磺化反应,反应条件为:联苯∶氯磺酸=1∶1.2(克分子),反应温度15℃,反应时间4小时,用循环水吸收反应放出的氯化氢,制成盐酸可供中和用,反应结束后搅拌下加入常水,破坏未反应的氯磺酸,并使对苯基苯磺酸进入水层,水层经液碱中和,离心分离出对苯基苯磺酸钠,离心分离出的对苯基苯磺酸钠与片状氢氧化钠在碱熔反应釜内进行碱熔反应,对苯基苯磺酸钠∶碱=1∶6(w/w),在280-300℃于0.1Mpa-0.3Mpa下保温反应3-5小时,泄压加水稀释后用盐酸进行酸化,经离心分离得,对苯基苯酚粗品。
将制得的粗品对苯基苯酚用有机溶剂B进行精制,所述有机溶剂B为无色透明液体,沸点110-120℃,相对密度(水=1)0.867(20℃),易燃,***极限为1.2-7%,极微溶于水,能与醇、酮与冰醋酸混溶。用有机溶剂B加热溶解后再加入活性炭脱色,趁热过滤,母液冷却结晶,经抽滤得精品对苯基苯酚。
本发明工艺过程中反应方程式如下:

1、一种对苯基苯酚生产工艺,其特征是用联苯作原材料,经磺化、碱熔、中和、精制而得,所述磺化是采用氯磺酸作磺化剂,将联苯投入反应器,再缓缓地加入氯磺酸进行磺化反应,反应条件为:联苯∶氯磺酸=1∶1.2(克分子),反应温度15℃,反应时间4小时,用循环水吸收反应放出的氯化氢,制成盐酸可供中和用,反应结束后搅拌下加入常水,破坏未反应的氯磺酸,并使对苯基苯磺酸进入水层,水层经液碱中和,离心分离出对苯基苯磺酸钠,离心分离出的对苯基苯磺酸钠与片状氢氧化钠在碱熔反应釜内进行碱熔反应,对苯基苯磺酸钠∶碱=1∶6(w/w),在280-300℃于0.1Mpa-0.3Mpa下保温反应3-5小时,泄压加水稀释后用盐酸进行酸化,经离心分离得,对苯基苯酚粗品,将制得的粗品对苯基苯酚加热溶解后,再加入活性炭脱色,趁热过滤,母液冷却结晶,经抽滤得精品对苯基苯酚。
