Abstract

本发明涉及一种在汽车内燃发动机内会聚气流的交会式锥形空气滤清器,其基本上包括一个具有给定厚度且相对于垂直轴线向下倾斜2°至7°的空心体(2)和沿滤清器本体(2)的上、下端外周边固定放置的、用于增强滤清器本体结构的卡圈(3)。空气滤清器本体由对称纵向折叠的滤纸材料制成,其厚度决定空气滤清器本体(2)的厚度。

用于汽车内燃发动机的交会式锥形空气滤清器
发明的技术领域
本发明涉及一种空气滤清器,特别是一种能够把气流会聚于汽车内燃发动机内的交会式锥形空气滤清器。
发明背景
目前的汽车技术需要高性能的汽车发动机。高性能的汽车发动机要求燃料必须与清洁空气按比例混合,所产生的混合物还要能迅速成为内燃机的燃料。
满足上述条件有两种方案。第一方案是使流体摩擦降到最低限度。第二方案是对混合物施加驱动力。只有通过恰当地设计空气滤清器的空气动力结构才能实现上述条件。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种空气滤清器,其中,由于气流会聚于正中流线,从而形成驱动力。根据其形状,即交会的(intersected)圆锥,这种滤清器被称之为旋风滤清器。
发明简要说明
设计这种交会式锥形空气滤清器的目的是过滤流入汽车内燃发动机的空气,并使该气流会聚于正中流线(midmost streamline)。由于这种滤清器具有交会式圆锥形状,有利的是其圆柱表面的有效面积大于先前采用的滤清器的有效面积。
这种空气滤清器的圆柱表面的有效面积越大,将要流入燃烧室的空气-燃料混合物的质量就越大。由于气流会聚于正中流线而产生的驱动力将提高燃烧室内空气-燃料混合物的流速和增大其质量,从而使汽车发动机产生驱动力。

发明的详细说明
图1a和1b示出一种交会式锥形空气滤清器(1)的基本结构,包括一个给定厚度的空心体(2),其壁相对于垂直轴线向下倾斜2°至7°。滤清器本体由纵向对称折叠的滤纸材料制成,其厚度决定空气滤清器本体(2)的厚度。
沿滤清器本体(2)上、下端的外周边分别固定配置一个卡圈(3),以增强过滤器本体结构。
图2a和2b示出一个具有特定空心体(2′)的改进型锥形空气滤清器。空气滤清器型态的外壁体是圆柱形,空气滤清器型态的内壁体是交会式圆锥。
图3是来自大气的气流进入汽车内燃发动机的路径示意图。来自大气的空气通过空气滤清器本体被导入空气滤清器(1)。借助滤清器的形状,使空气流经滤清器较小端的中心进入混合室(II)。空气和燃料进入混合室后变成空气-燃料混合物,进而流入内燃发动机(III)。由于气流会聚于滤清器较小端的中心而形成的驱动力将提高燃烧室内空气-燃料混合物的速度和增加其质量。
本说明所阐述的优选实施例仅仅是为了说明,而不是为了限制本发明的范围。对于本技术所属的人们来说,只要仍然在本发明和权利要求范围之内,任何种类的改进总是可能的。

Claims (3)

1.一种在汽车内燃发动机内会聚气流的交会式锥形空气滤清器(1),包括:
一个具有给定厚度且周边相对于垂直轴线向下倾斜2°至7°的空心本体(2),其由对称纵向折叠的滤纸材料组成,该滤纸材料的厚度决定空气滤清器本体(2)的厚度,
一个卡圈(3),其沿滤清器本体(2)上、下端的外周边固定放置用以增强滤清器本体的结构。
2.一种交会式锥形空气滤清器,其具有一个空心本体(2′),所述空气滤清器本体形状的外壁是圆柱形,所述空气滤清器本体的内壁是交会的圆锥。
3.一种具有如权利要求1和2所述的空心体形状的交会式锥形空气滤清器由多孔材料制成。

1.一种在汽车内燃发动机内会聚气流的交会式锥形空气滤清器(1),其包括:
一个具有给定厚度的且周边相对于垂直轴线向下倾斜2°至7°的空心本体(2),其由对称纵向折叠的滤纸材料组成,该滤纸材料的厚度决定所述空气滤清器本体(2)的厚度,
一个卡圈(3),其沿过滤器本体(2)上、下端的外周边固定放置用以增强滤清器本体的结构,且清洁空气的出口在交会式锥体的顶部。
2.如权利要求1所述的交会式锥形空气滤清器,其具有空心本体(2′),所述空气滤清器本体形状的外壁是圆柱形且所述空气滤清器本体的内壁是交会的圆锥。
3.一种具有如权利要求1和2所述的空心体形状的交会式锥形空气滤清器由多孔材料制成。
4.如权利要求1所述的交会式锥形空气滤清器,其用以产生能增加空气-燃料混合物速度和质量的驱动力。
