Abstract

发明领域
本发明一般涉及***家用AC电流的夜灯,特别涉及提供输出让观察者感到愉快和舒服的动态光显示的夜灯。
发明的背景
通常在每个家庭中都会发现有夜灯。本质上它们都是直接***安装在墙壁上的AC电源插座中的大约15瓦的AC白炽灯。只要打开这种电灯,它就输出光(和热)。尽管这种灯足以提供舒适水平的光,它们没有其他作用。虽然小孩看这种灯是很安全的,但是这种灯本身不能使看灯光的小孩和其他人感到舒服。
需要一种夜灯,能使观察者感到愉快和舒适,同时只输出光。优选这种夜灯应该输出动态的光显示,但是可以由用户在设计的灯图形中冻结。
本发明提供这种夜灯。
本发明的概要
本发明提供的夜灯包括适于直接***家用型AC插座中的外壳、光发射器阵列、AC:DC电压转换器、设置在外壳内的相关电子设备、和输出来自光源阵列的柔和光线的散光器。
优选光源阵列包括由外壳内的电子设备驱动的几个不同颜色发光二极管(LEDs),因而通过散光器观察到的阵列输出是动态改变的光图形。显示的光图形从单色到不同颜色的复合光平稳和连续地变化,在60秒左右的一个周期内重复上述循环。优选电子设备包括微控制器单元,在图形循环的各个部分过程中,该单元执行使光驱动器单元接通各个光发射器的指令序列。在该循环周期过程中,用户可以在任何时候启动一个开关以“冻结”输出光的特别吸引人的图形。被“冻结”的光图形将显示到用户又启动那个开关为止(或关闭夜灯,或者断开电源)。然后观察者可以启动同一开关,以便“解冻”输出光图形,并允许电子设备再次驱动LEDs以产生在颜色和亮度上逐渐被调制的连续变化的光图形。优选使用红LED、蓝LED和绿LED,并且驱动电子设备优选被决定本发明输出的光图形的微控制器(或等效部件)控制。

优选实施例的详细说明
图1是根据本发明的夜灯10的透视图。夜灯10包括优选的塑料外壳20,光源阵列30设置在塑料外壳20中,通过优选某种半透明元件40例如散光塑料透镜发射可见光。在优选实施例中,光源阵列30包括几个发光二极管(LEDs)。外壳20还包括电子设备50,其具有AC:DC功率转换器及控制和驱动LED阵列30内的LEDs的部件。在该优选实施例中,夜灯10包括间隔开的两个插头的插脚60,它们与普通墙壁安装式AC插座80中的插孔70匹配并直接***插孔70中。外壳还20包括开关S1,该开关允许用户在任何时候“冻结”特定光输出图形,或者“解冻”由阵列30输出的先前冻结的光显示图形。当夜灯10***插座80时,电子设备50被激活并从LED阵列30输出变化的光图形,直到用户按压开关S1为止。
当按压或激活S1时,光输出的动态图形被冻结,夜灯20将显示由用户在S1被激活时选择的稳定图形。这个稳定图形将保持显示,直到后来S1被再次启动为止(或者夜灯10被关闭。如果需要,***10还可以包括ON/OFF开关和/或外界光传感器S2,以至于夜灯10可在任何时候保持为***插座80中,而且只在该单元被转换到ON时或者在检测到外界光是某种程度的黑暗时输出光。
图2是表示电子设备50和包括夜灯10的相关部件的方框图。当夜灯被***AC插座80时,间隔开的插脚60将110VAC施加给***10。AC:DC整流器和电压调节器单元90将AC电压转换成DC电压,该DC电压(约15VDC)被电容器C1滤波。这种AC:DC转换器的设计和实施是本领域公知的,这里不必详细介绍。
在优选实施例中,LED阵列30包括三个分离的LEDs:红LED、绿LED和蓝LED,如图2所示的。每个LED可独立于其它LED被LED驱动器100提供的适当逻辑高或低状态驱动。在优选实施例中,三个不同颜色的LEDs是串联的,串联叠置体的底部的电压由稳压二极管Vz建立,它提供的相对稳定的电压VDD作为LED驱动器100和微控制器单元(MCU)110的工作电压。MCU110优选通过烧录一个或多个遮蔽层(burning one or more masklayers)被如下编程:写入进行具有控制LED驱动器100按照所要求的光图形序列驱动LED阵列30的效果的指令集。LED驱动器和MCU单元是电路设计领域内技术人员公知的,这里不再详细说明了。电容器C2用于过滤出稳压二极管输出电平中的噪声分量。稳压二极管下面的节点用做电子设备50的接地节点。
提到的开关S2可以是用户能够按压或以其他方式动作的常规机械ON/OFF开关,或者S2可以是通过散光器40检测外界光的光传感器。如果传感器S2检测到暗的外界光条件,S2将关闭电路,如果S2检测到明亮的外界光条件,S2将打开电路。机械开关和/或光传感器S2对本领域技术人员来说是公知的。
如图2所示,优选LED驱动器100在MCU110的控制下工作,在大概60秒左右的一个循环周期过程中,MCU(除非被开关S1中断)将循环通过一序列编程指令(示为120)。MCU110和LED驱动器100之间的多路连接通过驱动信号的各种组合使驱动器100步进(step),其中驱动信号耦合到包括阵列30的LEDs。
例如,在MCU110的控制下,LED驱动器100可以只让蓝色LED接通,或者在一个循环周期的某部分时间内接通。或者只有绿色或红色LED在一个循环周期的某部分时间内接通,例如一般为几秒钟,在该时间内产生来自阵列30的光输出图形,然后开始重复运行。应该理解MCU110可以使LED驱动器100同时打开一个以上的LED,并且每个LED的实际负载循环可以不同。例如,可以比绿色和蓝色LEDs更高的负载循环驱动红色LED,以至于红色是被用户通过散光器40观察到的最突出的颜色。图2示出了包括串联光源的阵列30,如果需要,可使用并联光源代替(或附加)。
实际上MCU110将已经用至少一个指令集120预编程了以输出连续变化的MCU信号图形。这些信号导致LED驱动器100驱动各个LEDs以动态输出令人愉快的颜色组合的公知图形,在该组合中颜色和亮度将在某预定时间例如约1分钟内平稳和逐渐地改变。
这样,向看夜灯10的观察者展示了平稳和连续改变颜色图形的彩色图面。光显示可以从深蓝色开始,逐渐变成浅蓝紫色,然后是淡紫-粉红色,逐渐变成桔红色。桔红色逐渐变成深红-粉红色,再逐渐变成浅紫色,再逐渐变成蓝色,然后回到深蓝色,如此重复循环。
视觉效果是让人感到愉快和舒适,并且可以促进睡眠,包括促进孩子睡眠。输出足够的光以用于夜灯目的,而且输出光不是单色灯类的单色光,而是逐渐地和令人愉快地改变的动态的***的景色。
在任何时候用户都可以按下开关S1,使MCU110在指令集120内的目前指令下冻结。这将使MCU110冻结在耦合到LED驱动器100的输出信号的目前组合状态。结果是红色、绿色和蓝色LED将保持由所要求的目前冻结的信号图形所驱动,并且在开关S1被按压或激活的时候将输出用户感到舒服的任何颜色组合。
在后来的某一时刻,用户可以再次按压S1,将使MCU110继续它的正常指令集,并又使LED驱动器100驱动LED阵列30输出一系列改变的光图形。如果需要,MCU110可以被编程,以至于当S1被按压以“解冻”先前“冻结”的图形时,MCU110内的下一个指令将是初始的,不是指令集中的下一个指令。
虽然上面已经用包括三个LED的光源阵列介绍了本发明,但是也可以使用更多个或更少的LED。如果需要,可以使用在被适当驱动信号驱动时输出不同颜色的LED。实际上,也可以使用LED以外的光源,例如带有不同颜色滤光片的白炽灯泡。
在不脱离由下列权利要求书限定的本发明主题和精神范围内可以对公开的实施例做各种修改和改变。
Claims (20)
1.一种夜灯,包括:
含有间隔开的AC插脚的外壳,其中AC插脚适于与提供AC工作电压的AC插座匹配;
设置在所述外壳内的光源阵列,它能够根据驱动信号动态输出不同颜色光的不同图形;
用于驱动所述光源阵列的装置,从而产生所述不同颜色光的不同图形,所述驱动装置设置在所述外壳内;和
冻结用户要求的不同颜色光的不同图形之一的控制器。
2.根据权利要求1的夜灯,其特征在于所述驱动装置包括:
被编程以执行操作序列的微控制器;和
驱动器单元,被设置成以接收来自所述微控制器单元的至少一个输出,并被设置成以根据所述微控制器的输出驱动所述光源阵列。
3.根据权利要求1的夜灯,其特征在于所述光源阵列包括至少一个发光二极管(LED)。
4.根据权利要求1的夜灯,其特征在于所述光源阵列包括红色发光二极管(LED)、蓝LED和绿LED的至少两个。
5.根据权利要求1的夜灯,还包括可连接于所述外壳的散光器,用户通过该散光器可观察到所述阵列发射的至少某些光。
6.根据权利要求1的夜灯,还包括AC:DC整流器,它被设置成以从所述间隔开的AC插脚接收AC,并给所述光源阵列的至少一个和所述驱动装置输送DC。
7.根据权利要求1的夜灯,其特征在于所述驱动装置控制从由下列项构成的组中选择的至少一个参数:(a)耦合到所述阵列中的光源的驱动信号的负载循环和(b)耦合到所述阵列中的光源的驱动信号的导通部分重复率,和(c)耦合到所述阵列中的光源的驱动信号的相对幅度。
8.根据权利要求1的夜灯,还包括用户可操作的ON-OFF开关,控制给所述夜灯的AC操作电压的输送。
9.根据权利要求1的夜灯,还包括光传感器,它设置在所述外壳内以检测外界光,并允许AC工作电压作为检测到的外界光的函数输送给所述夜灯。
10.一种夜灯,包括:
含有间隔开的AC插角的外壳,其中AC插脚适于与AC插座匹配;
设置在所述外壳内的光源阵列,它能够根据驱动信号动态输出不同颜色光的不同图形;
微控制器控制驱动单元,设置在所述外壳内并被耦合成以给所述光源阵列输送驱动信号,从而产生不同颜色光的不同图形;
冻结用户要求的不同颜色光的不同图形之一的控制器。
11.根据权利要求10的夜灯,其特征在于所述光源阵列包括(a)红色光源、(b)蓝色光源和(c)绿色光源的至少两个。
12.根据权利要求10的夜灯,其特征在于所述光源阵列包括(a)红色发光二极管(LED)、(b)蓝LED和(c)绿LED的至少两个。
13.根据权利要求10的夜灯,其特征在于所述光源阵列包括红色发光二极管(LED)、蓝色LED和绿色LED。
14.根据权利要求10的夜灯,还包括由用户使用的ON/OFF开关,从而将所述夜灯打开和关闭。
15.根据权利要求10的夜灯,还包括响应所述夜灯附近的外界光的光传感器,所述光传感器的输出将打开和关闭所述夜灯。
16.根据权利要求10的夜灯,还包括AC:DC电源,它被设置成以便将处于所述AC插脚的AC电压转换成被所述夜灯使用的DC电压。
17.提供输出彩色光的动态显示的夜灯的方法,该方法包括下列步骤:
(a)提供具有间隔开的AC插脚的外壳,它适于与AC插座匹配;
(b)在所述外壳内设置光源阵列,以便能根据驱动信号输出不同颜色光的不同图形;
(c)给所述阵列产生和耦合驱动信号以产生所述不同颜色光的不同图形;
(d)使用户冻结用户所要求的所述不同颜色光的不同图形之一。
18.根据权利要求17的方法,其特征在于步骤(b)包括设置(a)红色光源、(b)蓝色光源和(c)绿色光源的至少两个。
19.根据权利要求17的方法,其特征在于步骤(c)包括提供编程的微控制器以执行指令序列产生所述驱动信号。
20.根据权利要求19的方法,还包括允许用户冻结由所述微控制器对所述指令序列的执行,以便从所述夜灯产生光输出的稳定图形。
