发明概要
本发明提供了一种用于吸烟品的包装物,其中包装物容纳烟草,该包装物内包括纤维网材料和至少一填充料,该填充料对选择性地降低由吸烟品的燃烧/热解所产生的烟雾中的气体成分的含量是有效的。根据优选实施例,包装物包括卷烟纸,其含铵化合物填充料的量能有效地减少由吸烟品的燃烧/热解所产生的烟雾中的醛含量。含铵化合物填充料优选为低溶解度的无机铵金属盐(例如磷酸铵镁)。当作为填充料用于吸烟品的包装物成品中时,应采用最终包装物重量的约10%到约60%,优选为包装物总重量的约20%到50%的重量。

优选实施例的详细描述
根据本发明,提供了一种吸烟品的包装物,其中包装物的填充料对减少由吸烟品燃烧/热解所产生的烟中的气体成分的含量是有效的。包装物优选为包装纸,其中在吸烟品的燃烧/热解过程中,包装纸内的填充料对减少主流烟草烟雾中的醛含量是有效的。

优选的含铵化合物为无机铵金属盐例如铵碱土金属盐(例如MgNH4PO4.xH2O5,其中x的范围为1至6)。优选地是,含铵化合物在水中的溶解度低,从而能与传统的造纸工艺相兼容,例如填充料基本上不溶于含纸成分例如亚麻纤维等的水分散系中。也就是说,含铵化合物应该在造纸工艺中足够稳定,便作为填充料原样地存在于最终的纸产品中。这包括足够的热稳定性,以便在造纸工艺中继续进行干燥步骤。磷酸铵镁和其水合物非常适合于传统的造纸工艺,并且在吸烟过程中以大大地减少烟雾中某种低分子量醛含量的方式释放出氨。磷酸钾镁与磷酸铵镁结构相同,并且两者能够形成固溶体。该固溶体对减少烟雾中的醛含量也有效,尽管本发明最好的实施例最小化了该固溶体中钾的含量。
含铵化合物填充料也能够包括一个或多个下述矿物相:迪磷镁铵石、鸟粪石、水磷铵镁石、schertelite、蒙磷钙铵石和swaknoite。
含铵化合物被认为是有用的填充料材料,其具有一系列表面积、一系列微粒尺寸(主要在微米范围内),并且具有合适的不透明度,在水中具有低溶解度(造纸所需的),以及在卷烟纸的填充料内具有其它被认为是合乎需要的特性。为了卷烟纸填充料的目的,填充料的微粒大小优选为低于25μm,更优选的是低于10μm。
当作为填充料用于吸烟品包装物成品内时,优选的含铵化合物填充料的量等于约10%至约60%的最终包装物重量,更优选的是约20%至约50%的重量。该百分比称为填充料载荷(loading)。含铵化合物可以是纯填充料,或者它可以与一种或多种其它填充料在纸中混合。在混合物的情况下,一部分,例如重量达60%的填充料载荷可以包括一种或多种无机碳酸盐,无机氢氧化物,无机氧化物或者无机磷酸盐。这些填料的例子包括例如碳酸钙、氢氧化镁、氧化镁、碳酸镁、二氧化钛以及其它本领域已知的填充料。
包含本发明填充料的包装物能够具有约15至约75g/m2的标准重量,并且能够具有约2至约200cm3/min.cm2的孔隙率,该孔隙率是通过CORESTA方法(CORESTA单位”)测量的。最优选的标准重量介于约20到50g/m2,最最优选的孔隙率介于约10至约110CORESTA单位。
能够把燃烧添加剂例如羧酸或磷酸的碱金属盐应用到包装物中,以调整或控制所得到的吸烟品的燃烧率。例如,能够采用的燃烧添加剂的量约为包装物重量的2%到15%。燃烧添加剂的例子包括富马酸钠、柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾、琥珀酸钾、磷酸一氢钾和磷酸二氢钾。
为了制备包含本发明填充料的包装物,传统的香烟造纸程序采用了包括根据本发明的含铵化合物填充料,该填充料代替或结合了传统卷烟纸填充料(例如碳酸钙)。包装纸可以由亚麻纤维、木桨或其它植物纤维制造。另外,包装纸可以是传统的包装纸结构,多包封结构或多层单包装物结构。
为了演示本发明的实际和有益效果,利用不同的填充料和不同的总填充料重量/平方米纸制备了几种卷烟纸的成分。总填充料重量/平方米纸通过调节填充料载荷和/或纸的标准重量(厚度)而得到控制。包括手工造纸和机器造纸的例子以及手工造香烟和机器造香烟的例子。采用的香烟构造是如图3所示的非传统设计的结构,其中香烟可以由美国专利US5692525所描述的电子吸烟设备使用,因此该专利的全部内容引入此申请作参考。在通过使用本发明的包装纸作为香烟的外层纸包装(71)而制备的香烟的主流烟雾中,甲醛和乙醛的含量采用全烟方法(hole smoke)行分析,并在同样的吸烟条件进行比较,通过采用含有重量约35%的碳酸钙的标准含量为28g/m2、孔隙率为46CORESTA的外层包装纸,以便控制同样结构的香烟。表1列出了不同香烟的例子及纸的描述,包括填充料、填充料含量、标准重量、孔隙度、每平方厘米纸的有效氨量、针对每一香烟对其控制,流烟雾中甲醛和乙醛含量的百分降低率。如图表1所示,含铵化合物磷酸铵镁用作卷烟纸内的填充料产生了令人惊奇的和不可预料的结果,其中主流烟雾中甲醛含量的降低率高达91%。

图1是甲醛和乙醛的降低率对根据本发明的含磷酸铵镁的卷烟纸中有效氨(μmols/cm2纸)的曲线图。如图1所示,主流烟雾中甲醛和乙醛含量的百分降低率随着每单位面积纸的有效氨(由加热磷酸铵镁纸填充料而产生)的增加而增加。令人惊奇地,随着磷酸铵镁填充料(有效氨)含量的增加,甲醛含量比乙醛含量减少得更快。基于热重分析法/质谱法数据,据相信,在纸的燃烧/热解期间,仅氨和水从磷酸铵镁填充料释放出来;以及化学和热力学是引起烟雾中醛含量减少的原因。通过若干机理单独或同时作用,释放的氨能够影响产生的烟雾的醛含量。在不期望束缚于原理的同时,我们相信在可能引起醛含量减少的可能机理中,其一为氨和醛气体之间的化学反应,反应产物可能具有低挥发性并且被浓缩/捕获在香烟的灰、条和/或填充料中。另外一种可能性是燃烧/热解温度的变化和/或燃烧/热解环境中氨的出现可能最终影响吸烟过程中所产生的醛的初始形成。
根据本发明的香烟包装物能够具有任何所需的结构和/或一层或多层纤维(例如纸和/或烟草),其包含有能够有效地降低醛含量的填充料。例如,图2的部分剖面图所示,香烟包装物2可以是包围烟丝条6的单层4。如图3所示的非传统的香烟包装物,其中香烟可由美国专利US5692525所描述的电子吸烟设备所使用。图3示出了一种可由电子吸烟设备所使用的香烟100的结构。如图所示,烟100包括烟丝条60和由卷纸64结合的过滤部分62。过滤部分62优选地包括管状自由流过滤件102和烟嘴过滤塞104。自由流过滤件102和烟嘴过滤塞104可以结合在一起成为结合塞110,其与塞包装物112结合。烟丝条60能够具有各种形式,括一个或多个下列条目:一外包装纸71、另一管状自由流过滤件74、一圆柱形烟草塞80,其优选地包裹在塞包装物84内、烟草网或编制物66,其包括基网68、烟草70和一空隙空间91。自由流过滤元件74在烟丝条60的顶端72提供了结构限制和支持。在烟丝条60的自由端78,烟草网66与外包装纸71围绕圆柱形烟草塞80进行包封。烟丝条可以包括烟草、烟草混合物、烟草替代物等。根据本发明的填充料可以被包括在一层或多个层71、84、68、70或66内。
尽管本发明是参考优选实施例进行描述的,但是应该理解:可以进行各种变化和修改,这对本领域的普通技术人员来说是显而易见的。这些变化和修改应该认为处于所附权利要求所限定的权限和范围内。
Claims (23)
1.一种用于吸烟品的包装物,其中烟草由所述包装物容纳,所述包装物内包括纤维网材料和至少一填充料,所述填充料对减少由所述吸烟品的燃烧/热解所产生的烟雾中的气体成分的含量是有效的,其中所述填充料包括一含铵化合物填充料,所述含铵化合物填充料包括磷酸铵镁或其水合物之一。
2.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述含铵化合物填充料的量对减少由所述吸烟品的燃烧/热解所产生的主流烟雾中醛含量是有效的。
3.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述填充料包括无机化合物,所述无机化合物选自由无机碳酸盐、无机氢氧化物、无机氧化物和无机磷酸盐组成的组中。
4.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述填充料的重量为所述包装物总重量的10%至60%。
5.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述包装物包括具有单层或多层的卷烟纸。
6.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其具有15g/m2至75g/m2之间的标准重量,并且其孔隙度为2CORESTA单位至200CORESTA单位之间。
7.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其具有20g/m2至50g/m2之间的标准重量,并且其孔隙度为10CORESTA单位至110CORESTA单位之间。
8.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述包装物包括重量为2%至15%的燃烧添加剂。
9.根据权利要求8所述的包装物,其中所述燃烧添加剂为酸的碱金属盐。
10.根据权利要求9所述的包装物,其中所述酸的碱金属盐为选自由富马酸钠、柠檬酸钠、柠檬酸钾、琥珀酸钾、磷酸一氢钾和磷酸二氢钾组成的组中的至少一种物质。
11.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述含铵化合物的重量为包装物总重量的20%至50%。
12.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述包装物包括卷烟纸,以及所述纤维网材料包括植物纤维。
13.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述含铵化合物填充料为磷酸铵镁和磷酸钾镁的固溶体。
14.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述含铵化合物填充料包括矿物相迪磷镁铵石、鸟粪石、水磷铵镁石、schertelite、蒙磷钙铵石和swaknoite中的至少一种矿物相。
15.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述含铵化合物填充料包括至少两种不同的含铵化合物。
16.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述包装物包括围绕卷烟用烟丝条的卷烟纸。
17.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其中所述包装物被穿孔和/或包括一膜形成剂。
18.烟,其包括由包装纸容纳的烟丝条,所述包装纸内包括一纤维网材料和至少一填充料,所述填充料对减少由所述烟的燃烧/热解所产生的烟雾中气体成分的含量是有效的,其中所述填充料包括一含铵化合物填充料,所述含铵化合物填充料包括磷酸铵镁或其水合物之一。
19.根据权利要求18所述的烟,其中所述含铵化合物填充料的量对减少由所述烟的燃烧/热解所产生的主流烟雾中醛含量是有效的。
20.根据权利要求18所述的烟,其中所述含铵化合物填充料基本上由磷酸铵镁组成。
21.根据权利要求18所述的烟,其中所述烟进一步包括围绕烟丝条的烟草网,所述包装纸围绕所述烟草网。
22.包括纤维网材料和填充料的网,至少一部分所述填充料基本上由磷酸铵镁组成。
23.烟,其包括围绕烟丝条的烟草网和围绕所述烟草网的包装纸,所述烟草网内包括烟草和至少一填充料,所述填充料对减少由所述烟的燃烧/热解所产生的主流烟雾中的气体成分的含量是有效的,其中所述填充料包括一含铵化合物填充料,所述含铵化合物填充料包括磷酸铵镁或其水合物之一。
