A hair dryer having a ceramic heater is disclosed. The heater is made of ceramic material such as silicon carbide (SiC), lanthanum chromate (LaCrO3), and zirconium dioxide (ZrO2). The heater has a webbed construction and is loaded in body. insulation member is designed between the heater and the body. the hair dryer of the present invention is simple in assembling process, small-size and lightweight, prevented from overheating and having no possibility of trouble due to the breakage of a heater caused by the overheating of the coil.
