Abstract
一种组合物,除了水之外,它包含某种磺酸盐或多羟基醇以及乙氧基化/丙氧基化醇和乙氧基化醇,适用于预处理纺织片材。另外的成分还可使之适用于过氧化氢漂白。该组合物不仅给纺织品提供良好一次可湿性或良好再湿性,而且又是低起泡的。它用于间歇预处理过程,例如在喷射机中,不出问题。
Description
本发明涉及一种组合物,它至少包含水、有机磺酸盐或多羟基醇以及乙氧基化醇和乙氧基化/丙氧基化醇。本发明还涉及此种组合物用于纤维材料预处理的应用。
纺织片材形式的纤维材料,例如机织物,在染色之前通常需要接受预处理。预处理的一个目的是保证无疵点均一的染色效果。依纺织片材的历史及来源或可供使用的设备之不同,预处理可包括纺织品的退浆,脱脂/煮炼及漂白等措施。这些措施可分别进行,但在个别情况下也可将上述多种措施结合在单一步骤中一起进行,以便节约费用。
成功的预处理方法要求,纺织品不仅在预处理开始时而且在预处理之后,易于被水体系润湿,就是说,纺织品应具有良好“一次可湿性”和良好“再湿性”。后者保证染色加工不出问题。为满足一种适用预处理方法的要求,在预处理中采用各种化学产品。这些产品依所述目标可包括润湿剂、洗涤剂、酶、漂白剂、稳定剂、络合剂等。对产品尤其重要的要求是它应赋予纺织片材良好的预处理后再湿性。具有良好再湿性的纺织品使得后续染色加工中染色均一。但是关于此重要的是,提供良好再湿性的物料应不产生或仅仅微不足道地加大包含预处理产品的浴液的起泡倾向。这一要求在预处理在按照间歇过程,例如在喷射机中实施时,具有尤其重要的意义,因为泡沫增多会带来很***烦,而且按此种加工方式比按其他方法更容易起泡。之所以通常都要求使用低泡沫预处理物料,是因为在许多情况下不希望通过加入诸如硅氧烷之类消泡剂来抑制泡沫的增加。
鉴于传统预处理步骤如退浆、脱脂/煮炼和漂白,在许多情况下是结合在一种联合预处理过程中进行的,因此还需要可用于此种联合预处理方法的组合物。该组合物必须是不仅在预处理开始阶段赋予纺织材料良好可湿性,而且在预处理结束时还赋予其良好亲水性的水体系。这种良好亲水性导致染色加工所需要的优良再湿性。
用于纺织片材形式的纤维材料预处理的产品是已知的。
EP-A 98 803描述了一种接枝聚合物,包含:疏水部分、连接上去的聚乙二醇醚部分以及亲水接枝。亲水接枝可包含离子基团如磺酸盐或羧酸盐基团或者对应的酸基团。
EP-A 462 059公开一种纺织助剂,包含:烷氧基化并任选地链端醚化的醇、此种醇与酸性化合物的反应产物以及任选地水溶助长剂。由烷氧基化醇与酸性化合物产生的反应产物可以是磺酸盐。
WO 92/15664公开一种纺织物处理组合物,包含不饱和磺酸或羧酸均聚物、非离子表面活性剂以及任选地水溶助长剂。该表面活性剂,如同上面援引的EP-A 462 059一样,是脂族醇的烷氧基化物,其中醇的另一端的氢原子也可被有机基团代替。此类表面活性剂及其在纺织品处理方面的应用还公开在EP-A 420 802中。
EP-A 360 736描述了一种纺织预处理组合物,包含:磷化合物、带有亲水和疏水部分的共聚体、非离子表面活性剂以及碱金属氢氧化物。
上面援引的文献中所描述的组合物,尽管基本上适合纺织品预处理,但不是每个方面都具有最佳性能。更具体地说,许多纺织品预处理用组合物,在它们预处理完成之后,纺织材料的再湿性都存在问题。预处理之后,必须具有由充分亲水性提供的良好再湿性,才能使纺织品的染色性能不受负面影响。的确,原则上可通过在预处理中采用正确类型或用量的表面活性剂改善再湿性。但是,已查明,此种再湿性的优化常常对一次可湿性产生负面影响和/或显著增加泡沫。上面已经提到,一次可湿性代表纺织片材在预处理开始阶段的可湿性,也就是,纺织材料刚一接触到预处理浴液那一刻的可湿性。此种一次可湿性必须达到某一最低水平,预处理方能不出问题地实施。就是说,所用的组合物虽能产生良好再湿性,即预处理以后的良好再湿性,但它们在许多情况下导致一次可湿性的不足。倘若试图通过相当大量的表面活性剂使一次可湿性和再湿性均达到最佳,则常常事与愿违一导致泡沫的增加。这种泡沫的增加,在间歇型预处理方法中,例如在喷射机中进行间歇预处理期间,将变得尤其明显。诚然,泡沫可以借助硅氧烷来控制,然而这样做常常是不可心的。
本发明的目的是开发一种组合物,它对纤维材料,尤其是纺织片材的预处理具有极佳实用价值,原因在于它不仅赋予纺织材料良好一次可湿性而且赋予良好再湿性,再有,即便不使用诸如硅氧烷之类高性能消泡剂它也不产生不可接受的泡沫。
这一目的可由一种至少包含成分A、B、C和D的组合物实现,
其中成分A,或者为一种通式(I)的磺酸盐
R1R1R2C-CR1R2-(-CR1R2-)n-R1 (I)
其中n是0~8,任何一个R1彼此独立地是氢、1~4个碳原子的烷基基团、未取代的苯基基团或取代上通式-SO3 -M+基团的苯基基团,R2彼此独立地是R1或通式-SO3 -M+的基团,条件是,成分A包含至少1个通式-SO3 -M+的基团且M是钠、钾或铵,
或者其中成分A是2~12个碳原子,优选4~10个碳原子的多羟基脂族醇,
成分B是通式(II)的乙氧基化醇或者此类醇的混合物
R3-O-(-CH2CH2-O-)r-X (II)
其中r是1~8,优选2~7,
成分C是通式(III)的烷氧基化物或者此类烷氧基化物的混合物
R3-O-(-Z-)tX (III)
其中t是4~30,优选6~18;存在的全部Z基团中20~80%是-CH2CH2-O-,而存在的全部Z基团中80~20%是-CHR4-CHR5-O-,其中每种情况下,R4和R5之一是氢,而另一个是CH3,在成分B和成分C中的R3均为4~20,优选8~18个碳原子的线型或支链烷基,并且存在的全部X中50~100%,优选100%是氢,且存在的全部X中0~50%,优选0%是甲基、乙基或苯基基团,以及
成分D是水。
该上述成分的特定组合令人惊奇地解决了先有技术纺织预处理制剂带来的整个一系列问题。本发明的此种组合物对于纺织片材的预处理非常有用,即便如文章开头所提到的,将多个预处理步骤结合在一个联合方法中。然而如果它们也准备用于过氧化氢漂白方法中,则建议该组合物另外包含一种成分E,其类型将在下面更详细地描述。本发明组合物当用于间歇预处理方法,例如在喷射机中时,则尤其具有优势。它们之所以尤其适用于这种情况,是因为它们具有低起泡倾向。它们赋予纺织品高预处理后亲水性,这本身反映在极佳再湿性上。纺织品的一次可湿性,即预处理开始阶段被预处理浴液初次润湿的性能也同样非常好。
上述优点可通过遵照权利要求1以及上文有关本发明组合物诸成分的规定取得。
成分A或者为一种通式(I)的磺酸盐
R1R1R2C-CR1R2-(-CR1R2-)n-R1 (I)
其中n是0~8;在优选的实施方案中,n是1~3。任何一个R1基团彼此独立地是氢、1~4个碳原子的线型或支链烷基基团、未取代的苯基基团或取代上通式-SO3 -M+的磺酸盐基团的苯基基团。任何一个R2彼此独立地是上面提到的那种R1或通式-SO3 -M+的磺酸盐基团。然而当成分A是通式(I)的化合物时,它应包含至少1个磺酸盐基团-SO3 -M+,就是说,存在的全部R2基团中至少1个应是-SO3 -M+,或者存在的全部R1基团中至少1个应是带有-SO3 -M+作为取代基的苯基基团。在含1个或多个取代上-SO3 -M+的苯基基团的成分A中,每个该-SO3 -M+基团可位于芳环的任何部位。在-SO3 -M+基团中,M+在每种情况下是钠、钾或铵离子。成分A因此可以是这样的纯脂族或者脂族-芳族烃,其中1个或多个-C-H部分被-SO3 -M+部分所取代。
在本发明组合物的优选实施方案中,成分A是上述通式(I)的磺酸盐,其中存在的全部R2基团中至少1个是-SO3 -M+。在这种情况下有利的是,存在的R1基团中没有一个包含磺酸盐基团。
在尤其优选用于纺织品预处理的本发明组合物中,成分A是通式(IV)的磺酸盐
R6R7CH-CR6R7-(-CR6R7-)w-H (IV)
其中w是1~3,R6基团之一是未取代的苯基基团,而所有其余的R6基团都是氢,R7基团之一是-SO3 -M+,而所有其余R7基团都是氢。这时,存在的唯一苯基基团或存在的唯一磺酸盐基团可代替通式(IV)的R6和R7基团中的任何一个。枯烯磺酸钠和枯烯磺酸钾尤其可用作本发明组合物中的成分A。
代替通式(I)的磺酸盐,本发明组合物中的成分A还可以是具有2~12,优选4~10个碳原子以及线型或支化碳链的脂族多羟基醇。要知道,本发明组合物还可包含通式(I)的磺酸盐与此种多羟基醇的混合物。当成分A不是磺酸盐而是多羟基醇时,本发明组合物的优选实施方案所包含的成分A是具有4~8个碳原子的线型或支化烷基链的二羟基或三羟基脂族醇。尤其有用的成分A是1,5-戊二醇,其中碳原子2~4之一带有甲基基团作为取代基。
成分A必须包含在本发明组合物中。这是因为已发现,包含水、成分B和成分C但不包含成分A的组合物不具有用于纺织品预处理的最佳实用价值。此时的问题,一方面可能在于预处理完成以后纺织材料的再湿性;通常用量的成分B和C,当不存在成分A时在浴液中往往不能提供所要求的高再湿性能。再湿性问题原理上固然可通过增加成分B和/或C的用量得到解决。然而已发现,这将不得不使用大到使得成本非常高的用量,而且特别是,此时泡沫问题若不使用诸如硅氧烷之类高性能消泡剂便无法控制。另一方面,硅氧烷还可能对染色特性产生负面影响,因此,许多情况下不希望使用。另一个当不存在成分A时就可能出现的问题是,常常不可能获得适用于纤维材料处理的稳定液态水配制物,并且/或者制成的配制物容易大量起泡。包含成分B、成分C和成分D但不包含成分A的组合物可能采取凝胶的形式存在,这对预处理方法是不适用的。即便在不存在成分A时所述缺乏再湿性不成为问题的个别情况下,这一凝胶问题本身就是个问题。然而,成分A与成分B及成分C以及水一起使用却可消除上面所讨论的困难。
可用作成分的磺酸盐或多羟基醇是市售供应的,例如枯烯磺酸钠,或者可按照已知的化学方法制备。替代通式(I)或(IV)的单一化合物,成分A也可以是此类化合物的混合物或者多羟基醇的混合物。
本发明组合物中的成分B是提供纺织片材在预处理开始以及完成后一次可湿性和再湿性的主要成分。预处理浴液应能迅速而均匀地润湿纺织品,以便以最佳方式实现预处理的目的。已发现,包含成分A和成分C但不包含所述类型成分B的组合物通常将导致一次可湿性恶化的结果。类似地,当组合物中不包含成分B时,纤维材料完成预处理以后的再湿性也会过低。
成分B是通式(II)的乙氧基化醇或此类醇的混合物
R3-O-(-CH2CH2-O-)r-X (II)
其中r是1~8,优选2~7。成分B一般为乙氧基化的醇的混合物,因为作为醇与环氧乙烷的乙氧基化反应的结果将生成产物混合物。在此种混合物中,r的数值(乙氧基化度)将在一定程度上变化。为使通式(II)的乙氧基化产物的混合物适合作本发明组合物中的成分B,混合物中r的出现频率最高的值务必不得超过8。有利的是,混合物中不多于20%的分子具有大于8的r;优选的是,不少于80%分子的r不大于7。已发现,通式(II)的乙氧基化醇,当r大于8或者混合物中20%以上的分子具有大于8的r时,将不适合用作本发明组合物中的成分B。原因在于,随着r的增加起泡倾向将变大,而当r大于8时可到达不可接受的程度。
通式(II)中的R3是4~20个碳原子的线型或支链烷基基团。尤其适合作为本发明组合物中成分B的是这样的通式(II)的乙氧基化产物,其中R3包含8~18个碳原子。通式(II)中的X可以是氢、甲基、乙基或苯基。成分B中存在的全部X基团中至少50到100%必须是氢,才能获得要求的一次可湿性。因此,X为氢的成分B将仅包含单一种类通式(II)的乙氧基化分子。然而,鉴于技术和经济的原因,成分B实际上将总是某些符合通式(II)的化合物的混合物,该混合物可包含分子中X是氢的化合物以及X是-CH3、-C2H5或-C6H5的化合物。然而,存在的全部X基团中至少50%必须是氢。但是在本发明组合物的优选实施方案中,即便当B是混合物时,成分B中存在的全部X基团也都是氢。
可用作成分B的通式(II)的产物乃是市售供应的。它们可以按照已知的方式通过对应的醇R3-OH与环氧乙烷起反应来制备,其中随后可以也可不对羟端基实施部分醚化。
成分C,虽不是正式指明的消泡剂,仍是一种抑泡成分并且是本发明组合物的一种必要成分。包含成分A或成分B但不包含成分C的组合物会出问题,尤其当预处理是准备在喷射机中按间歇方式实施时。这是因为,此时的起泡程度将高得不可接受。
成分C是通式(III)的烷氧基化物,或者此类烷氧基化物的混合物
R3-O-(-Z-)tX (III)
其中R3和X每种均符合上面有关成分B时所做的规定。如同成分B一样,成分C通常也是产物的混合物。R3-OH醇的乙氧基化/丙氧基化作用,例如直接的乙氧基化,将产生一种产物混合物。在此种混合物中,通式(III)的各单独化合物的t值和/或聚氧乙烯和聚氧丙烯单元数彼此不同。而且,通式(III)的化合物可以以嵌段共聚物或者无规共聚物的形式存在,具体依生产条件而定。例如在下列情况下生成嵌段共聚物,R3-HOH首先仅与环氧乙烷起反应,随后—在环氧乙烷消耗完以后—仅与环氧丙烷进行反应。此种嵌段共聚物优选用作本发明组合物中的成分C,任选地,在对羟端基实施部分醚化之后。然而,也可使用通过R3-OH与环氧乙烷和环氧丙烷混合物起反应生成的无规聚合物,或者部分端基醚化的无规聚合物。如同成分B中一样,成分C中存在的全部X基团中50~100%,优选100%必须是氢;X基团中0~50%可以是-CH3、-CH2H5或-C6H5。
成分C的乙氧基化/丙氧基化度介于4~30,即通式(III)中的t介于4~30。t优选是6~18的数。通式(III)中的Z是二价聚氧亚烷基基团。组分C中存在的全部Z基团中20~80%是基团-CH2CH2-O-,它从环氧乙烷衍生而来,而其余的,也就是Z基团的80~20%是基团-CHR4-CHR5-O-,由环氧丙烷衍生而来,其中R4和R5之一是氢,而另一个是-CH3。通常作为成分C的化合物的混合物可包括其R3O和X之间仅包含-CH2CH2-O-单元的个别分子,或者仅包含聚氧丙烯而不含聚氧乙烯单元的个别分子。这在工业乙氧基化/丙氧基化中是不可避免的。然而,此种分子在成分C中所占份额非常低,而占压倒多数的,也就是大于90%的成分C中的分子则包含聚氧乙烯和聚氧丙烯这2种单元。
如同在成分B中一样,可用作成分C的产品也有市售供应,或者可按照众所周知的方法制备。
本发明的组合物还包含水(成分D)。
本发明组合物可毫无问题地通过将成分A~D以及任何进一步要求的成分按任意顺序在室温搅拌下混合来制备。在个别情况下,某种混合和/或升温顺序可产生贮存稳定性方面的好处。本文也适用于本发明组合物另外还包含例如成分E和/或F的情况,这些组分将在下面具体说明。
在优选的实施方案中,本发明的组合物除了包含必备成分A~D之外还包含成分E和/或F。除了可包含单一化合物之外,本发明组合物还可包含符合下文有关成分E和/或F定义的化合物组成的混合物。
成分E是镁盐或钙盐,优选水溶性无机盐。氯化镁是尤其合适的。此类盐的存在可提高本发明组合物对于用过氧化氢来漂白纺织品的惯用预处理方法的适用性。这些方法要求用于过氧化氢的稳定剂,而所提到的镁盐和钙盐便可用于此目的。
成分F是通式(V)硫酸单酯的碱金属盐或铵盐
R8-O-SO3H (V)
即,通式为R8-O-SO3 -M+的盐,其中M是钠、钾或铵。该通式中的R8是4~12,优选6~10个碳原子的线型或支链烷基基团。作为该单酯盐前体的醇R8-OH可以是伯、仲或叔醇,即,-O-SO3 -M+基团可存在于线型或支链一价基团R8中的任何碳原子上。
成分F在本发明组合物中的存在可提高这类含水组合物的稳定性。
在优选的实施方案中,本发明组合物包含的上述诸成分含量满足:按每100重量份水(成分D)计,存在如下数量成分A、B、C、E和F:
5~35重量份成分A,优选10~25重量份
10~40重量份成分B,优选15~35重量份
3~30重量份成分C,优选5~25重量份
0~30重量份成分E,优选2~20重量份
0~20重量份成分F,优选2~10重量份
希望的话,本发明组合物还可包含另一些,特别是与具体预处理方法和要求有关的成分。这类成分例如可以是酶、络合剂或附加的表面活性剂;它们可按照预处理加工习惯用量使用。然而,建议每当使用此种成分之前先审查它们是否会导致本发明组合物的上述优点不可接受地受损。
本发明组合物非常适用于处理纤维材料,尤其是用来预处理机织物或针织物形式的纺织纤维材料。所指的纤维材料可以是包含纤维素、再生纤维素或合成聚合物或其混合物的纺织片材。本发明组合物尤其适用于预处理含70~100wt%棉的纺织片材。其余的纤维可以是例如合成纤维。以本发明组合物预处理由原棉组成的纺织片材可获得在一次可湿性及再湿性方面的极佳效果,同时起泡倾向从来不会超过可按受的程度,即便不使用诸如硅氧烷之类高性能消泡剂。由于这样的原因,本发明组合物也非常适用于间歇预处理方法,例如在喷射机中。
本发明组合物适用于采用惯用方法对纺织材料进行预处理加工,例如采用浸渍、浸轧等方法。有利的是,此种预处理用的含水浴液使用,例如,以总浴液为基准,0.03~1wt%的成分A、B和C总浓度。
预处理之后,纺织材料按照传统的已知方式进行,例如染色,不论采取或不采取中间干燥,之类的进一步处理。
现在,将通过实施例来说明本发明。
制备如下表I所示的组合物,其中各个实例下面的数值分别表示所指成分,以重量百分率为单位。

实例1、2、5和6包含成分A)、成分B)和成分C),即,本发明实例。实例3、4和7是不符合本发明的对比例,原因在于,实例3缺少成分B;实例4缺少成分C;实例7中成分g)的乙氧基化度超过有关成分B的规定。
组合物#1~7全部接受一次可湿性、再湿性以及起泡倾向测试。
一次可湿性是按照ISO 8022方法对100%原棉的机织物样品进行测定的。测定织物完全被相应组合物润湿所需要的时间(秒数)。因此,在下表2中,一次可湿性数值越小,说明润湿越好/越快。
预处理条件下起泡倾向的测定在实验室喷射设备上进行,每种情况均加入稀氢氧化钠、过氧化氢、过氧化氢的稳定剂以及约1g/L组合物1~7之一。另外,每次试验,将100%棉针织物样品放入到设备中。设备中的物料一边进行机械搅拌,一边加热,开始加热到40℃,然后到98℃,最后冷却到80℃。让设备中的物料在每种上述温度停留一段短时间,以便评估泡沫生成量。
再湿性测定程序包括:按上述起泡测定中所描述的方法处理针织物样品;然后将它们从设备中取出并干燥;测定再湿性:测定从滴液吸移管滴下的水滴完全润湿织物所需要的时间(秒数)。
试验结果载于表II中。

Claims (9)
1.一种至少包含成分A、B、C和D的组合物,
其中成分A或者是通式(I)的磺酸盐
R1R1R2C-CR1R2-(-CR1R2-)n-R1 (I)
其中n是0~8,任何一个R1彼此独立地是氢、1~4个碳原子的烷基基团、未取代的苯基基团或由通式-SO3 -M+的基团取代的苯基基团,任何一个R2彼此独立地是R1或通式-SO3 -M+的基团,条件是,成分A包含至少1个通式-SO3 -M+的基团且M是钠、钾或铵,
或者其中成分A是2~12个碳原子的多羟基脂族醇,
成分B是通式(II)的乙氧基化醇或者此类醇的混合物
R3-O-(-CH2CH2-O-)r-X (II)
其中r是1~8,
成分C是通式(III)的烷氧基化物或者此类烷氧基化物的混合物
R3-O-(-Z-)t-X (III)
其中t是4~30;存在的全部Z基团中20~80%是-CH2CH2-O-,而存在的全部Z基团中80~20%是-CHR4-CHR5-O-,其中每种情况下,R4和R5之一是氢,而另一个是CH3,在成分B和成分C中的R3均为4~20个碳原子的线型或支链烷基,并且存在的全部X中100%是氢,
成分D是水;
其中所述组合物包含按每100重量份水(成分D)计,下列数量的成分A、B和C:
5~35重量份的成分A,
10~40重量份的成分B,
3~30重量份的成分C。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其中成分A是通式(I)的磺酸盐,其中存在的全部R2基团中至少一个是-SO3 -M+。
3.权利要求1或2的组合物,其中成分A是通式(IV)的磺酸盐
R6R7CH-CR6R7-(-CR6R7-)w-H (IV)
其中w是1~3,R6基团之一是未取代的苯基基团,而所有其余的R6基团是氢,R7基团之一是-SO3 -M+,而所有其余R7基团是氢。
4.权利要求1或2的组合物,其中成分A是枯烯磺酸钠或枯烯磺酸钾。
5.权利要求1的组合物,其中成分A是4~8个碳原子的二羟基或三羟基醇。
6.权利要求1或2的组合物,它另外还包含成分E和/或F,成分E是镁盐或钙盐,而成分F是通式(V)硫酸单酯的碱金属盐或铵盐
R8-O-SO3H (V)
其中R8是4~12个碳原子的线型或支链烷基基团;
其中所述
组合物,它包含按每100重量份水计,下列数量的成分E和F:
至多30重量份的成分E,
至多20重量份的成分F。
7.权利要求1~6中一项或多项的组合物用于处理纤维材料的应用。
8.权利要求7的应用,其中机织物或针织物形式的纺织纤维材料是被预处理的。
9.权利要求7或8的应用,其中纤维材料为70~100wt%的棉。
