It is therefore an object of the present invention to improve an electric machine with a fan and a fan housing, wherein an angle sensor is to be integrated in the electric machine.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by an electric machine according to the features given in claim 1.
In a motor with a fan and a fan housing, an important feature of the invention is that the motor has a stator housing, a bearing cap and an angle sensor,
Wherein, the stator shell is connected with the bearing cover,
Wherein a bearing, in particular a ball bearing, for supporting a rotor shaft of the electric machine is received in the bearing cap,
Wherein the fan impeller is connected with the rotor shaft in a manner of being unable to rotate relatively,
Wherein the angle sensor is fastened to an adapter flange, which serves in particular as a torque support,
Wherein the adapter flange is fixed at the bearing cap and/or connected with the intermediate ring, the intermediate ring/spacer ring is connected with the bearing cap,
Wherein the fan wheel is arranged within the adapter flange, in particular in the radial and axial extent,
Wherein the cheek/side plate segments of the adapter flange have an axially through-going bore, in particular a circular bore,
The holes cover a radial extent which is at least partially radially arranged outside the radial extent covered by the stator of the angle sensor,
And/or the holes are arranged radially outside the hole pattern for fixing the angle sensor provided at the cheek section, in particular wherein a screw passing through the hole of the hole pattern of the cheek section passes through the stator of the angle sensor, in particular the stator of the angle sensor is fixed at the adapter flange with the screw.
The advantage here is that a stable mechanical interface for connecting to different angle sensors is achieved by means of the adapter flange. For example, for larger angle sensors, the adapter flange may be provided with a further, in particular larger, hole pattern at its side facing the angle sensor. But thus the motor can still be used. I.e. in general, a large number of motor variants can be realized in the present invention with a very small number of components. Here, the bearing cap of the motor is unchanged, i.e. the structure is always identical. However, the different angle sensors are integrated into the motor via correspondingly adapted adapters.
Between the rotor shaft of the electric machine and the rotor of the angle sensor, components are likewise arranged which implement a mechanical interface, i.e. in particular a coupling, which enables a large number of variants with a small number of components.
In one advantageous embodiment, the region covered by the fan housing in the axial direction comprises a region covered by the adapter flange in the axial direction and/or comprises a region covered by the angle sensor in the axial direction. The advantage here is that the angle sensor and the adapter flange and thus the assembly enclosed by the adapter flange are also arranged within the fan housing.
In an advantageous embodiment, the fan housing is spaced apart radially from the angle sensor and the adapter flange,
In particular, the angle sensor and the adapter flange are arranged radially within the fan housing. The advantage here is that the angle sensor and the adapter flange and thus the assembly enclosed by the adapter flange are arranged within the fan housing.
In one advantageous embodiment, the adapter flange has an annular section, a bridge section and a cheek section,
Wherein the bridge section connects the annular section with the cheek section,
Wherein the bridge sections are spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction,
Wherein the annular section is fixed at the bearing cap,
In particular, wherein the ring axis of the ring section is oriented coaxially with the rotational axis of the rotor shaft,
In particular, the cheek segments are embodied as flat disks, the normal direction of which is oriented coaxially with the axis of rotation of the rotor shaft,
In particular, a bore is thus formed in the circumferential direction between the individual bridge sections through the adapter flange. In this case, the advantage is that a high torsional strength can be achieved and the adapter flange thus serves as a torque support for the angle sensor.
In an advantageous embodiment, the stator of the angle sensor is connected to the cheek section. The advantage here is that different hole patterns can be formed in the cheek section and thus support the installation of a plurality of different angle sensors over a large area.
In an advantageous embodiment, the rotor of the angle sensor is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a bolt, in particular a screw, by means of a coupling, in particular a groove coupling (Schlitzkupplung),
Wherein the pin is connected to the rotor shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, in particular wherein the pin is screwed into a threaded bore of the rotor shaft,
Wherein the coupling is embodied as a hollow shaft provided with grooves. The advantage here is that mechanical balancing is achieved by means of the coupling on the one hand and mechanical interfaces are present on the other hand, so that different angle sensors can be connected.
In one advantageous embodiment, the cheek segments are configured as a perforated disk, wherein the coupling is axially guided through a hole of the cheek segment arranged centrally in the cheek segment,
In particular, the region covered by the cheek section in the axial direction is comprised by the region covered by the coupling in the axial direction. In this case, the advantage is that a simple production can be achieved.
In an alternative advantageous embodiment, the coupling is arranged in the adapter flange,
In particular, the region covered by the coupling in the axial direction is comprised by the region covered by the adapter flange in the axial direction. The advantage here is that the coupling is arranged in a protected manner.
In an advantageous embodiment, the cheek section has a hole pattern for a screw or the screw, which secures the stator of the angle sensor to the cheek section. The advantage here is that the screw or the hole pattern is arranged radially inside the hole provided for the through-flow of the sucked-in air flow. Thereby, the air flow also flows through the angle sensor and dissipates heat from the angle sensor.
In one advantageous embodiment, the cheek segments are configured as perforated disks. The advantage here is that the hole patterns can be arranged at radial distances of different magnitudes. Furthermore, the cheek section is embodied in the form of a disk and is thus embodied as solid and hard, wherein the cheek section additionally provides a high thermal capacity for dispersing the heat loss generated by the angle sensor.
In an advantageous embodiment, the cheek section has a hole pattern for a screw, which secures the stator of the angle sensor to the cheek section. The advantage here is the high heat capacity for diffusing the power loss generated by the angle sensor and the rigid base for the stable connection of the stator of the angle sensor.
In an advantageous embodiment, a radially outwardly projecting hump region is formed at the bearing cap, in which hump region a threaded bore is introduced which is directed in particular radially,
Wherein the screws are screwed into the threaded holes, the screws pass through the fan housing and the respective screw heads of the screws press the fan housing against the respective hump areas. The advantage here is that the hump region achieves a clear free space between the fan housing and the bearing cap, through which the air flow conveyed by the fan flows to the cooling fins.
In an advantageous embodiment, the air flow flowing out of the space region enclosed by the fan housing between the fan housing and the bearing cap runs along the cooling ribs. In this case, an effective cooling is advantageously achieved. In particular, the radial extent covered by the net free space overlaps the radial extent covered by the fin.
In an advantageous embodiment, the coupling is arranged inside the adapter flange,
Wherein the region covered by the shaft coupling in the axial direction is contained by the region covered by the fan housing in the axial direction. The advantage here is that the coupling is arranged in a mechanically protected manner.
In an advantageous embodiment, the air flow sucked in by the fan wheel passes through the grille opening of the fan housing,
In particular, the grille opening is formed at the end face of the fan housing, which faces axially away from the stator housing. The advantage here is that the fan housing together with the fan can be constructed as a preassembled unit.
In an advantageous embodiment, the first terminal box is arranged and/or fixed on the stator housing. The advantage here is that a readily accessible electrical connection is achieved.
In one advantageous embodiment, the fan wheel is arranged in a spatial region surrounded by the adapter flange.
In an advantageous embodiment, the fan wheel is arranged in the adapter flange. The advantage here is that the fan wheel can be arranged in a space-saving and protected manner.
In an advantageous embodiment, the cover covers the recess of the fan housing,
Wherein the area covered by the recess in the axial direction is comprised by the area covered by the coupling in the axial direction. The advantage here is that the coupling can be connected to the tool through the recess, in particular by actuating a clamping screw or a fastening screw of the coupling.
In an advantageous embodiment, the bores of the cheek segments are configured as circular bores, in particular circular bores extending axially therethrough. The advantage here is that a simple, cost-effective production is achieved.
In an advantageous embodiment, the region covered by the coupling in the axial direction is comprised by the region covered by the fan housing in the axial direction. The advantage here is that the coupling is arranged in such a way that it is protected by the fan housing and at least partially by the adapter flange.
In one advantageous embodiment, the air flow sucked in by the fan wheel passes through the grille opening of the fan housing and through the openings of the cheek sections,
In particular, the grille opening is formed on the end face of the fan housing that faces axially away from the stator housing, and/or the aperture is formed on the end face of the adapter flange that faces axially away from the stator housing. The advantage here is that heat is dissipated for the adapter flange and the fan wheel can be arranged in a protected manner inside the adapter flange.
In an advantageous embodiment, radially outwardly projecting cooling ribs, in particular extending in the axial direction, are formed on the stator housing. The advantage here is that an efficient heat dissipation is achieved.
In an advantageous embodiment, a free space is formed between two hump regions lying next to each other in the circumferential direction, which free space is covered radially inward by the bearing and radially outward by the fan housing, and/or through which the air flow fed by the fan wheel flows out to the cooling fins, the radial extent covered by the cooling fins overlapping the radial extent covered by the free space. In this case, it is advantageous if the air flow fed by the fan enters directly into the region of the cooling fin and then continues along the cooling fin.

Detailed Description
As shown in the figures, the electric machine has a stator housing 1, which has, on its radial outer periphery, radially outwardly projecting cooling fins extending in the axial direction.
At a first axial end of the stator housing 1, a bearing cover 3 is connected to the stator housing 1, the bearing cover 3 accommodating a bearing for rotatably supporting a rotor shaft 11 of the electric machine.
The axial direction is parallel to the direction of the rotational axis of the rotor shaft 11. The radial direction and the circumferential direction are respectively referenced to the rotational axis of the rotor shaft 11.
The fan wheel 10 is mounted on the end of the rotor shaft 11 that protrudes from the stator housing on the axial end side, the fan wheel being connected to the rotor shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, preferably by means of a key connection. The end of the rotor shaft 11 facing away from the stator housing is connected to a first side of a coupling 13, which connects the rotor of the angle sensor to the rotor shaft 11 in a rotationally fixed manner.
The stator of the angle sensor is connected to an adapter flange 5, which serves as a torque support. For this purpose, the stator of the angle sensor is connected to a cheek section 22 of the adapter flange 5 by means of screws, which is connected to an annular section 20 by means of bridge sections 21 spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction, which in turn is fastened to the intermediate ring 8 by means of screws, which is connected to the bearing cap 3.
The coupling 13 is surrounded by the adapter flange 5. For this purpose, the axial region covered by the coupling 13 is comprised by the axial region covered by the adapter flange 5.
Likewise, the fan wheel 10 arranged within the adapter flange 5 is surrounded by the adapter flange 5. For this purpose, the axial region covered by the fan wheel 10 in the axial direction is comprised by the axial region covered by the adapter flange 5.
The intermediate ring 8 is detachably connected to the bearing cap 3.
The fan cover 6 is fitted over the angle sensor together with the adapter flange 5 and also over the bearing cap 3 together with the hump region 2 formed on the bearing cap and protruding radially on the bearing cap 3. In each of the hump regions 2, a radially directed threaded bore is introduced, into which a screw passing through the fan housing 6 is screwed, the screw head of the screw bearing against the radially outer side of the fan housing 6 and pressing the fan housing against the respective hump region 2.
The area covered by the fan housing in the axial direction comprises the area covered by the angle sensor, the area covered by the adapter flange 5, and also at least partly the area covered by the bearing cover 3 in the axial direction.
The fan guard 6 is radially spaced from the adapter flange 5 and the angle sensor.
The fan housing 6 has a through-going grille opening 7 on its end side facing axially away from the stator housing 1, so that the air flow sucked in the axial direction by the fan wheel 10 enters through the grille opening 7 and flows through the angle sensor, i.e. in particular axially between the stator 9 of the angle sensor and the fan housing 6, and/or through the holes configured to pass axially through the cheek section 22 towards the fan wheel 10 arranged inside the adapter flange. The air flow conveyed by the fan wheel 10 in the radial direction then flows out of the adapter flange 5 between the bridge sections 21 in the radial direction and then flows out of the spatial region enclosed by the fan housing 6 toward the cooling fins of the stator housing 1, wherein the cooling fins extend in the axial direction.
The fan wheel 10 is arranged in a spatial region surrounded by the fan housing 6, in particular the adapter flange 5.
Preferably, the hump regions 2 are all at the same axial position and all at the same radial distance, but spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction.
The fan guard 6 has a through recess 40 which can be covered by the cover 4. Maintenance may be performed through the recess 40 and/or electrical leads may be passed through the angle sensor.
The stator windings of the electric machine are coupled to electrical contact elements, which are arranged in a terminal box 12, which is mounted and/or fixed on the outside of the stator housing 1.
By means of the adapter flange 5, a mechanical interface for connecting different types of stators with the angle sensor is provided. Correspondingly, an interface on the rotating component is also provided by the coupling 13. Thus, a series of products of the motor may be provided, with variations of the series having different angle sensors. Thus, a plurality of motor variants can be provided by only a few components.
The fan wheel 10 is arranged within the fan housing 6 and within the adapter flange 5.
According to the invention, the adapter flange 5 is also cooled by the air flow. In addition, the air flow in this way passes through the through recess of the adapter flange 5 delimited by the bridge section 21 and also takes away the heat losses of the bearing of the rotor shaft of the electric machine.
In the cheek section 22 of the adapter flange, axially penetrating openings 23 are arranged, through which an air flow is sucked in. The holes 23 are all arranged at the same radial distance and are spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction, in particular uniformly. The holes are in particular identically shaped and/or are each formed as round holes, in particular round bores.
In particular, the radial extent covered by the holes 23, i.e. in particular the area comprising all radial distances of the holes, is arranged radially outside the radial extent covered by the angle sensor.
The area covered by the fan wheel 10 in the axial direction is comprised by the area covered by the adapter flange 5 in the axial direction.
Preferably, the distance between the cheek section 22 and the fan guard 6 is as small as possible or completely vanishes/zero. For this purpose, radial projection of the cheek segments 22 at the adapter flange 5 is advantageous. Thus, the back-flushing vortex in the air flow or the mixing of the sucked air flow with the transported air flow can be prevented.
In order to achieve a compact embodiment, the radial distance between the fan housing 6 and the adapter flange 5 is very small. Thereby, the air flow flows in the axial direction through the holes 23 and is then turned to the radial direction by the fan wheel 10.
The radial extent covered by the fan wheel 10 overlaps the radial extent covered by the aperture 23.
The air conveyed by the fan wheel 10 in the radial direction passes between the individual bridge sections 21 in the circumferential direction and is then diverted by the fan housing 6 into the axial direction for flowing out in the axial direction between the fan housing 6 and the bearing cap 3 and along the cooling fins.
In other embodiments according to the invention, the coupling 13 is embodied as a groove coupling. The groove coupling is realized by grooves introduced into the hollow shaft, wherein each groove is arranged in a plane, in particular a groove plane, and the planes are each axially spaced apart from one another, wherein the planes are all parallel to one another.
Preferably, each groove is embodied in a respective plane such that only a single bridge bridges the respective groove or only two bridges bridge the respective groove.
In other embodiments according to the invention, the intermediate ring 8 and the bearing cap 3 are embodied in one piece, i.e. in one piece.
