The structural composition, characteristics, advantages and the like of the drum-type laundry treating apparatus according to the present invention will be described below by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments, however, all descriptions should not be construed as limiting the present invention in any way.
Furthermore, to the extent that any individual feature described or implied in the embodiments set forth herein, or any individual feature shown or implied in the figures, the invention still allows any combination or deletion of such features (or equivalents thereof) without any technical hurdle, and further embodiments according to the invention are considered to be within the scope of the disclosure herein.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a drum-type laundry treating apparatus. In this figure, a state in which the door of the drum-type laundry treating apparatus is opened is shown. Meanwhile, the control panel of the laundry treating apparatus is also shown, and the inner tub can be seen by opening the door. The control panel is used for controlling start-stop, operation modes and the like of the laundry treating apparatus. The outer cylinder is used for containing a treatment medium, such as washing water and the like; the inner drum may be used to contain the garments to be treated.
In performing operations such as laundry, a door of a laundry treatment apparatus is opened, laundry is put into an inner tub, and then the door is closed, and a treatment medium is input into an outer tub by operating a control panel, thereby starting a program including, but not limited to, washing, rinsing, drying, fragrance, sterilizing, and the like. After the clothes treatment is completed, the clothes can be taken out for storage.
Further, according to the present invention, as also shown in the figures, the laundry treatment apparatus 1 may comprise a body casing 2. The material of the body housing 2 of the laundry treating apparatus 1 may be a high performance plastic or metal material, etc.
A front plate opening 5 may be provided at the front plate 4 of the housing 2 of the laundry treatment apparatus 1, and the front plate opening 5 may be fixed to the front plate 4 in a caulking manner. The door of the clothes treating apparatus is adapted to cooperate with the front plate opening 5 to open and close the clothes treating space, so as to facilitate the access of the clothes to be treated into the clothes treating space.
In the laundry treatment apparatus 1, its outer tub may be used to contain the treatment medium, and its inner tub may be used to contain the laundry to be treated. For example, when washing clothes, a treating medium is put into the outer cylinder, the motor drives the inner cylinder to rotate clockwise and anticlockwise through the speed reducing belt wheel, and the lifting rib in the inner cylinder drives the treated clothes to rise to a high point along with the rotation of the inner cylinder and then fall down, so that the detergent can permeate into the clothes and achieve the aim of washing the clothes by dropping, beating and squeezing the clothes.
As described earlier, an outer cylinder port 6 may be provided at the front end of the outer cylinder 3, and the front plate cylinder port 5 and the outer cylinder port 6 communicate but are not concentric. In a typical situation, the front panel spout 5 may be slightly higher than the outer spout 6 to facilitate the user reaching into the drum from an upward direction to access the treated clothing.
It should be understood that although described herein in connection with the specific embodiment of the drum-type laundry treatment apparatus of fig. 1 as an example, the present invention is equally applicable to other types of drum-type laundry treatment apparatuses.
Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of a tub front flange in the laundry treating apparatus of fig. 1.
The laundry treating apparatus 1 in the illustrated example may further comprise an tub front flange 7 as shown in fig. 2. The outer tub front flange 7 may be provided at the front end of the outer tub opening 6 and can cover the outer tub opening 6. Specifically, the outer tub front flange 7 may be fixedly connected to the front end of the outer tub 3, which on the one hand reinforces the rigidity of the front end of the outer tub 3 and on the other hand also determines the caliber of the front end of the outer tub 3.
Under the working condition of high-speed dehydration treatment, the underwear is easy to form uneven distribution. In this case, the rigidity of the front flange of the outer cylinder is such that the roller is not deformed and is not damaged by friction collision with the inner cylinder and the door.
It should be appreciated that although described herein in connection with the specific construction of the front outer barrel flange of fig. 2, taking it as a specific example, the present invention is equally applicable to other construction types of front outer barrel flanges.
Threaded holes 14 are provided in the outer tub front flange 7 shown in fig. 2. The threaded bores 14 are distributed over the rim of the mouth of the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder. The distribution positions of these threaded holes 14 respectively correspond to the positions of the through holes 15 on the insert 8 as shown in fig. 4, and their numbers respectively correspond to the numbers of through holes 15 on the insert 8 as shown in fig. 4. The insert 8 can be screwed to the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder by means of these threaded holes 14 and through holes 15.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic perspective view of the front flange of the outer tub of fig. 2, wherein an insert is attached to the front flange of the outer tub.
As shown in the figure, an insert 8 is provided at the outer tub front flange 7 for compensating for the non-concentricity of the outer tub mouth 6 and the front plate tub mouth 5 and for compensating for a gap therebetween. In particular, the compensating portion 13 of the insert 8 can extend into the nozzle of the outer barrel front flange 7 such that the outer barrel front flange 7 is concentric with the front plate nozzle 5 or substantially concentric therewith or reduces the concentricity therebetween.
In the example shown in the figures, the outer cylinder 6 is lower than the front plate cylinder 5, and the insert 8 can be fastened at the bottom of the cylinder mouth of the outer cylinder front flange 7. The insert 8 comprises a flange portion 12 and a compensating portion 13 (see fig. 4), wherein the compensating portion 13 extends upwardly, thereby increasing the height of the nozzle of the outer tub front flange 7.
In alternative embodiments, the insert 8 may be made of stainless steel material. In alternative embodiments, the insert 8 may also be made of other materials, such as, but not limited to, aluminum alloys, carbon fibers, and the like. These materials have high corrosion resistance, making them useful in harsh environments, resistant to scaling and maintaining strength.
The insert 8 is fastened to the outer cylinder front flange 7 by a plurality of screws 9. In the example shown in the figures, this insert 8 is fastened to the outer tub front flange 7 by four in total eight screws 9 on both sides. In alternative embodiments, other numbers of screws 9 may be used, such as, but not limited to, four, five or more screws, etc. The insert 8 and the outer cylinder front flange 7 are fastened by a plurality of screws 9, so that the insert 8 can be easily assembled and disassembled, and the mounting mode is more preferable from the viewpoint of cost.
In addition, in alternative embodiments, the insert 8 may be secured to the tub front flange 7 by other securing means, such as, but not limited to, welding, riveting, staking, etc.
In this fig. 3 is shown a case where the front plate nozzle 5 is slightly higher than the outer nozzle 6, resulting in a non-concentricity of the two, so that the insert 8 is provided at the bottom of the nozzle of the outer nozzle front flange 7. In some other cases, if the front plate tub mouth 5 is designed to be non-concentric with the outer tub mouth 6 in other directions in the laundry treating apparatus according to circumstances, the insert 8 may be provided at an inclination angle of the corresponding direction on the tub front flange 7 to compensate for the non-concentricity.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic front view of the insert of fig. 3. As can be seen from fig. 4, the insert 8 may comprise a flange portion 12 having a partial annular shape and a compensation portion 13 having a crescent shape. It can also be seen in connection with fig. 3 and 4 that the flange portion 12 and the compensating portion 13 may not be in the same plane, and that the compensating portion 13 may be suitably recessed into the barrel.
The burring part 12 is integrally formed at the outer side of the compensating part 13. Or both may be two separate parts, the cuff portion 12 being part of a ring shape with an inner side shape substantially matching the outer side of the compensating portion 13.
Four through holes 15 are uniformly distributed on the left and right sides of the flanging part 12 respectively for screws to pass through and fasten the insert 8 to the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder through the flanging part 12. The number of through holes 15 can be adjusted according to the number of screws specifically required. The insert 8 can be conveniently detached from the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder by fastening the screws 9, so that the cleaning and the arrangement are convenient.
With reference to fig. 3 and 4, it can be seen that the insert 8 is fastened to the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder by the flange portion 12 for reinforcing the strength thereof and increasing the height of the front flange nozzle. In order to make the flange portion 12 better fit with the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder, the shape of the fitting surface of the flange portion and the front flange may be consistent, so that the flange portion and the front flange are more firmly and stably fixed.
The compensating portion 13 in this figure can be used to increase the height of the nozzle of the outer tub front flange 7 so that concentricity of the front plate nozzle 5 and the outer tub 6 is increased while reducing the gap between the outer tub and the front plate, preventing stalling.
In this embodiment, the outer periphery of the crescent-shaped compensation portion 13 may be integrally formed with the burring portion 12. Or in other embodiments, may be formed separately and then fixedly attached together by any suitable means. The compensating portion 13 may have an outer peripheral diameter smaller than an inner peripheral diameter, thus constituting a crescent shape. The outer circumference of the compensating portion 13 may be formed in a circular arc shape or an approximately circular arc shape so as to be adapted to be fitted with the outer tub front flange 7. The inner circumference of the compensating part 13 may be formed in a circular arc shape or an approximately circular arc shape, so that the configuration and the cooperation of the window pad can be facilitated, and the damage to the laundry when the laundry is taken and put can be prevented.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic view of a window pad in a laundry treating apparatus. The ribs 11 in the window gasket 10 are also shown.
According to this embodiment, the laundry treating apparatus 1 may further include the window pad 10. The main function of the window gasket 10 is that its inner and outer ends are respectively tightened on the flange structure of the front plate opening 5 of the laundry treating apparatus and the outer opening 6 of the laundry treating apparatus, so that it can seal-connect the front plate opening 5 of the laundry treating apparatus 1 with the outer opening 6, preventing the laundry treating water in the drum from leaking therefrom.
The window gasket 10 material of the laundry treating apparatus 1 is generally a flexible rubber material, and in order to further improve the tensile properties of the window gasket 10, the window gasket 10 may be made to have an inwardly folded structure.
The window gasket 10 can be arranged on the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder and wrap the nozzle of the front flange 7 of the outer cylinder and the insert 8, so as to prevent the insert 8 from protruding and damaging underwear in high-speed rotation.
In order to increase the strength of the window gasket 10 of the laundry treating apparatus 1, a reinforcing rib 11 is provided at the inner circumference of the window gasket 10 near the insert 8. As shown in fig. 5, the insert 8 is at the bottom end of the outer barrel opening, corresponding to the bottom end of the window gasket 10, so the stiffener 11 is at the bottom end of the window gasket 10 in the drawing. The ribs 11 may be outwardly convex on the surface of the window gasket 10 or inwardly concave on the surface of the window gasket 10.
In the example shown in fig. 5, the reinforcing bars 11 may further include circumferential reinforcing bars and radial reinforcing bars. The circumferential reinforcing ribs and the radial reinforcing ribs may or may not intersect each other. The intersecting ribs can further enhance the strength of the window gasket 10 in all directions relative to non-intersecting ribs. In particular, in this embodiment, the stiffener 11 may include two circumferential stiffeners and a plurality of radial stiffeners, such that it constitutes a bamboo ladder-shaped stiffener position with a circumferential curvature.
Further, in an alternative embodiment, the ribs may protrude inwardly. Through the design, the reinforcing ribs can effectively prevent the underwear load of the clothes treatment equipment from moving outwards during rotation, and further reduce the probability of accidental locked-up rotation.
It can also be seen that the inner edge of the window gasket 10 extends inwardly of the mouth of the tub front flange 7 for blocking loads such as laundry from the tub, preventing loads such as laundry from entering outwardly into the tub front flange to window gasket gap and undesirably causing spin lock and the like.
As can be appreciated in view of the above description, in the laundry treating apparatus of the present invention, by adding an insert to the tub front flange, a gap between the tub and the front plate of the laundry treating apparatus caused by the misalignment is effectively reduced, thereby preventing stalling caused by the misalignment, and improving laundry treating performance of the laundry treating apparatus.
The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the above description, and those skilled in the art may make various changes and modifications to the above-described embodiments without departing from the technical spirit of the present invention, and these changes and modifications should be included in the scope of the present invention.
