The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present application may be used by a person skilled in the art to perform wireless communication between a network device and a terminal device, for example, wireless communication between an access network device and a terminal device.
In a mobile communication system, in order to maintain mobility of communication, a network needs to perform neighbor configuration on each cell, so as to ensure that when a terminal device moves between cells, the terminal device can be redirected to a cell with a better signal according to neighbor configuration information, thereby maintaining continuity of service.
Currently, in some co-established shared networks or future heterogeneous roaming networks, due to synchronicity of sharing or roaming situations of different mobile communication systems (such as 4G, 5G, etc.), there is a situation that affects mobility on neighbor cell configurations of different mobile communication systems, for example, a 5G shared base station that is currently under the first operator configuration does not configure a 4G shared neighbor cell that is under the second operator configuration. Thus, when the terminal device moves between different cells, for example, from a 5G cell to a 4G cell, there are cases where it cannot be redirected to a cell with better signals.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a neighbor relation provided by the related art, as shown in fig. 2, a 5G cell is an independent networking (standalone, SA) cell that is set up by a first operator, and the signal strength is about-115 dB; the 4G cell A is a cell with a frequency band B3 which is constructed by a first operator, the signal strength is about-110 dB, and the cell is an anchor point cell, displays 5G and is a cell with poor rate experience; the 4G cell B is, for example, a cell with a frequency band B1 which is set by a second operator, the signal strength is about-80 dB, the cell is not an anchor point, the 4G is normally displayed, and the cell with better rate experience is obtained. There is only one-way neighbor relation between the 4G cell B and the 5G cell, there is two-way neighbor relation between the 4G cell A and the 5G cell, and there is no neighbor relation between the 4G cell A and the 4G cell B. Referring to fig. 2, the terminal device gradually moves to the 5G cell from the 4G cell B, and redirects to the 5G cell from the 4G cell B, and in the subsequent moving process, the terminal device fails to redirect from the 5G cell to the 4G cell B due to the missing neighbor relation of the 5G cell to the 4G cell B, and finally redirects from the 5G cell to the 4G cell a.
Based on the above problems, the embodiment of the application provides a neighbor cell configuration optimization method, which mainly comprises the following steps:
The terminal equipment sends information for indicating that the neighbor relation of the first cell for the second cell is missing to the network equipment, so that the neighbor relation of the second cell for the first cell is configured based on the first information, and the terminal equipment can be redirected to the second cell with better signal when moving among different cells.
The technical scheme shown in the application is described in detail by specific examples. It should be noted that the following embodiments may exist alone or in combination with each other. For the same or similar matters, for example, explanation of terms or nouns, explanation of steps, etc., reference may be made to each other in different embodiments, and the explanation is not repeated.
Firstly, the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application is explained in detail through a specific embodiment from the terminal equipment side.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a neighbor cell configuration optimization method according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 3, the method for optimizing neighbor cell configuration provided in this embodiment is applied to a terminal device, and includes:
s301, determining first information, wherein the first information is used for indicating that the neighbor relation of the first cell to the second cell is missing.
For example, determining the first information may also be described as generating the first information.
In the embodiment of the application, the terminal equipment measures the frequency point sent by the network equipment so as to redirect the frequency point to the cell with better signal. When the terminal equipment measures that the signal quality of the second cell is better than that of the first cell, the first cell cannot be redirected from the first cell to the second cell because the adjacent cell relation of the first cell for the second cell is missing, and at this time, under the condition that the measured data of the first cell and the adjacent cell of the first cell meet the reporting condition, the terminal equipment determines first information and records the first information locally to the terminal equipment.
Illustratively, referring to fig. 2, the first cell is, for example, a 5G cell, the second cell is, for example, a 4G cell B, and only one-way neighbor relation between the 4G cell B and the 5G cell, i.e., the neighbor relation of the 5G cell with respect to the 4G cell B is absent. The terminal device cannot redirect from the 5G cell to the 4G cell B, and therefore, according to the measurement data of the 5G cell, the 4G cell B and the 4G cell a, the terminal device determines the first information and records the first information locally to the terminal device when determining that the measurement data meets the reporting condition. The first information includes, for example, signal strength of the 5G cell, signal strength of the 4G cell B, signal strength of the 4G cell a, and the like. Specific first information and specific reporting conditions may be referred to in the following embodiments.
S302, first information is sent.
For example, transmitting the first information may also be described as indicating the first information, or transmitting the first information.
For example, the terminal device may send the first information to the network device after determining the first information.
Optionally, the first information is sent via MDT.
It is understood that the MDT is used for the terminal device to send measurement information to the network device, so that the network device performs network optimization according to the measurement information. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an MDT related process according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, where the MDT related process includes: s401, the network device sends a log measurement configuration message to the terminal device, wherein the log measurement configuration message is configured with a threshold, for example, the threshold is a threshold corresponding to the difference value between the signal intensity of the second cell and the signal intensity of the third cell.
Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram two of an MDT related process provided in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 5, the MDT related process includes: s501, the network equipment sends a user equipment information request message to the terminal equipment. S502, the terminal equipment sends a user equipment information response message to the network equipment. The message content of the user equipment information request message is indicated by UEInformationRequest-r16-IEs, for example, and the message content of the user equipment information response message is indicated by UEInformationResponse-r16-IEs, for example, the first information being carried in the user equipment information response message.
In the embodiment of the application, under the condition that the neighbor relation of the first cell for the second cell is missing and the experience of the terminal equipment is affected, the MDT is used for sending the first information to inform the network equipment that the neighbor relation of the first cell for the second cell is missing, so that the neighbor relation of the first cell for the second cell can be automatically configured for the first cell, and the user experience is facilitated to be improved.
Optionally, the triggering condition for sending the first information may include: and acquiring the user equipment information request message, wherein the first information is carried in the user equipment information response message.
For example, referring to fig. 5, after determining the first information and recording the first information locally, when acquiring the user equipment information request message sent by the network device, the terminal device acquires the user equipment information, sends a user equipment information response message to the network device, and the first information is carried in the user equipment information response message.
In the embodiment of the application, a terminal device determines first information, wherein the first information is used for indicating that the neighbor relation of a first cell for a second cell is missing; the terminal equipment sends the first information to automatically configure the adjacent cell relation aiming at the second cell for the first cell based on the first information, so that the terminal equipment can be redirected to the second cell with better signal when moving among different cells, and the user experience is improved.

It may be understood that this embodiment is only one possible implementation provided by the embodiment of the present application, and the embodiment of the present application does not limit the communication system of the first cell and the second cell.
Based on the above embodiments, the following is a detailed description in connection with different embodiments.
Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram two of a neighbor cell configuration optimization method according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 6, the method for optimizing neighbor cell configuration provided in this embodiment is applied to a terminal device, and includes:
s601, acquiring a log measurement configuration message, wherein a threshold is configured in the log measurement configuration message.
It will be appreciated that the log measurement configuration message is received after the terminal device is powered on and registered with the network. The terminal device obtains a log measurement configuration message sent by the network device, where a threshold is configured in the log measurement configuration message, where the threshold is, for example, a threshold corresponding to a difference between the signal strength of the second cell and the signal strength of the third cell.
S602, saving a threshold.
The terminal device stores the threshold locally according to the acquired log measurement configuration message.
S603, recording first information under the condition that the measurement data of the first cell and the adjacent cell meet reporting conditions; wherein the reporting condition includes the second cell being redirected to the first cell, and the first cell being redirected to a third cell; the difference value between the signal intensity of the second cell and the signal intensity of the third cell is larger than or equal to a threshold; the frequency point corresponding to the second cell is different from that of the third cell; and the first cell is not configured with a neighbor relation to the second cell; the first information includes signal strength of the first cell, signal strength of the second cell, identification information, and signal strength of a third cell configured with a neighbor relation to the first cell when the first cell cannot be redirected from the first cell to the second cell, the identification information being used to identify that the first cell and the second cell do not have a neighbor relation.
The terminal device measures the frequency point sent by the network device to redirect to the cell with better signal. When the terminal equipment measures that the signal quality of the second cell is better than that of the first cell, the adjacent cell relation of the first cell for the second cell is missing, so that the second cell cannot be redirected from the first cell, and at the moment, the terminal equipment records the first information under the condition that the measured data for the first cell and the adjacent cell are determined to meet the reporting condition.

The terminal device obtains the user equipment information after obtaining the user equipment information request message sent by the network device, and sends a user equipment information response message to the network device, where the first information is carried in the user equipment information response message. Referring to the related example of fig. 5, an information element (information element, IE) corresponding to the first information may be added to the message content UEInformationResponse-r16-IEs of the ue information response message, the information element may be assigned, and reported description information may also be added.
S606, obtaining second information, wherein the second information is used for configuring the neighbor relation for the second cell for the first cell.
It can be understood that after the terminal device sends the user equipment information response message to the network device, the second information sent by the network device can be obtained, where the second information is sent after the network device configures the neighboring cell relationship for the second cell for the first cell based on the first information, so that the terminal device can redirect to the cell with better signal according to the second information.
The network device sends second information to the terminal device when the number of times of reporting the missing neighbor relation of the first cell to the second cell is greater than or equal to a threshold, wherein the second information is used for configuring the neighbor relation of the first cell to the second cell. Correspondingly, the terminal device may obtain the second information, so that it may be redirected from the first cell to the second cell according to the second information. Referring to fig. 2, after the network device configures a neighbor relation for the 5G cell for the 4G cell B, the terminal device may redirect from the 5G cell to the 4G cell B according to the neighbor relation.
Optionally, the second information is carried in a system message and/or the second information is carried in a measurement configuration message.
The network device may send the second information to the terminal device in a broadcast manner via a system message, or via a measurement configuration message, for example.
In the embodiment of the application, a terminal device acquires a log measurement configuration message, wherein a threshold is configured in the log measurement configuration message, the threshold is stored, and first information is recorded under the condition that measurement data of a first cell and a neighboring cell meet reporting conditions; acquiring a user equipment information request message; transmitting a user equipment information response message, wherein the first information is carried in the user equipment information response message; and acquiring second information, wherein the second information is used for configuring the neighbor relation aiming at the second cell for the first cell, so that the terminal equipment can redirect to the second cell with better signal according to the second information, and user experience is improved.
