Description

Resin body and electric junction box
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a resin body and an electrical junction box.
Background
Conventionally, an electrical junction box mounted on a vehicle and housing various electronic components such as a fuse, a relay, and an electronic control unit in a housing space has been proposed. For example, one of the conventional electrical junction boxes includes: a housing having a receiving space; a stud bolt provided in an inner space of the housing and connected to the electronic component or the like in a conductive manner; and a side cover that is attached to the housing at a location where the stud bolt is provided (for example, refer to patent document 1).

Problems to be solved by the invention
However, the side cover is assembled with the electric wire and the terminal-attached electric wire having the L-shaped terminal before being assembled to the housing of the electric junction box. Therefore, in order to suppress the shake of the terminal, the side cover is provided with a locking portion for locking the terminal. On the other hand, in order to suppress the rattling of the terminal, it is preferable that the locking portion is formed so as to be in close contact with the terminal, but since the terminal has an L-shape, a gap is provided between the locking portion and the terminal from the viewpoint of the work of assembling the terminal-attached electric wire to the side cover. Therefore, the rattling of the terminal may not be sufficiently suppressed, and thus, the positioning of the terminal to the stud bolt may become difficult. If the terminal is not sufficiently prevented from being shaken, if the wire is pulled by pulling the wire out of the wire with the terminal in a desired direction, the terminal may be shaken, and it may be difficult to pull the wire out in the desired direction.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a resin body and an electrical junction box that are excellent in suppressing the rattling of terminals in a terminal-equipped electrical wire.
In order to achieve the above object, the resin body of the present invention has the following features.
A resin body is configured to hold a terminal-equipped wire having an L-shaped terminal composed of a wire-side connection portion and a counterpart-side connection portion, and to be assembled to a housing accommodating electronic components therein,
a first wall portion extending in a first direction and a pair of second wall portions arranged to be spaced apart in a second direction intersecting the first direction and capable of restricting displacement of the terminal in the second direction,
the pair of second walls are respectively provided with:
a mounting portion on which the counterpart connecting portion can be mounted;
a first restriction portion that holds the counterpart side connection portion in the first direction together with the mounting portion to restrict displacement of the terminal in the first direction,
the first wall portion is provided with a second restricting portion that sandwiches the counterpart side connecting portion in a third direction together with the mounting portion to restrict displacement of the terminal in the third direction, the third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction.
To achieve the above object, the electrical junction box of the present invention has the following features.
An electrical junction box is provided with: the resin body, the terminal-equipped wire, and the case for housing the electronic component therein,
the terminal-equipped wire has a wire and an L-shaped terminal,
the wire-side connection portion and the counterpart-side connection portion of the terminal are integrally formed,
the wire-side connection portion extends in the first direction and is connected to the wire,
the counterpart side connecting portion extends in the third direction and is connected to a stud bolt provided in the housing.
Effects of the invention
Next, the resin body and the electrical junction box of the present invention will be described.
According to the resin body and the electrical junction box of the present structure, the pair of second wall portions sandwich the counterpart side connection portion in the second direction, thereby restricting displacement of the terminal in the second direction. Similarly, the displacement of the terminal in the first direction is restricted by the mounting portion and the first restricting portion sandwiching the counterpart connecting portion in the first direction. Similarly, the displacement of the terminal in the third direction is regulated by sandwiching the counterpart connecting portion between the mounting portion and the second regulating portion in the third direction. In this way, the resin body of the present structure restricts the displacement of the terminal in each direction, and therefore, the shaking of the terminal can be suppressed.
The present invention is briefly described above. Further, the details of the present invention will become more apparent by reading the mode for carrying out the invention described below (hereinafter, referred to as "embodiment") with reference to the drawings.

Detailed Description
(embodiment)
Hereinafter, a side cover 40 according to an embodiment of the present invention shown in fig. 1 and the like will be described with reference to the drawings. The side cover 40 is a resin molded body assembled to the side wall 11 of the electrical junction box 1. Typically, the electrical junction box 1 is a relay box mounted on a vehicle and having an internal space for accommodating electronic components R (see fig. 2 to 3) such as a relay and other components.
Hereinafter, for convenience of explanation, as shown in fig. 1 to 10, "front", "rear", "left", "right", "upper" and "lower" are defined. The "front-rear direction", the "left-right direction" and the "up-down direction" are orthogonal to each other. When the electrical junction box 1 is mounted on a vehicle, the "front-rear direction", "left-right direction", and "up-down direction" correspond to the front-rear direction, the left-right direction, and the up-down direction of the vehicle, respectively. In addition, the up-down direction corresponds to the "first direction" of the present invention. Further, the left-right direction corresponds to the "second direction" of the present invention. Further, the front-rear direction corresponds to the "third direction" of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the electrical junction box 1 is constituted by a frame 10, a lower cover 20 assembled below the frame 10 so as to close the lower end opening of the frame 10, an upper cover 30 assembled above the frame 10 so as to close the upper end opening of the frame 10, and a side cover 40 (corresponding to the "resin body" of the present invention) assembled to the side wall portion 11 of the frame 10. All of the 4 members constituting the electrical junction box 1 are resin molded bodies.
As shown in fig. 1, in the electrical junction box 1, an electric wire (not shown) that is connected to a part of the electronic component R located inside the electrical junction box 1 is led out to the outside of the electrical junction box 1 through an electric wire lead-out hole (not shown) provided in the rear left part of the electrical junction box 1. Further, wires (not shown) that are connected to a part of the other electronic components R in a conductive manner are led out of the electric junction box 1 through wire lead-out holes (not shown) provided in the front right portion of the electric junction box 1.
The terminal-equipped wire 50 held by the side cover 40 is connected and coupled to a stud bolt S provided in the internal space of the electrical junction box 1, and is led out of the electrical junction box 1 through the housing 42 of the side cover 40.
The terminal-attached electric wire 50 is composed of an electric wire 51 and a terminal 52 connected to the end of the electric wire 51 (see fig. 2 to 3). One end of the electric wire 51 is connected to the terminal 52, and the other end is connected to a battery, an alternator, or the like, for example. As shown in fig. 2 to 3, 6 and 8 to 9, the terminal 52 is integrally formed of a wire-side connecting portion 53 extending in the up-down direction and connected to the wire 51, and a counterpart connecting portion 54 extending forward and connected to the stud S, and is formed in a substantially L-shape. The mating connecting portion 54 is provided with a hole portion penetrating in the vertical direction and through which the stud S is inserted. The frame 10, the lower cover 20, the upper cover 30, and the side cover 40 constituting the electrical junction box 1 will be described in order.
First, the frame 10 will be described. As shown in fig. 1, the frame 10 includes a substantially rectangular cylindrical side wall portion 11 extending in the up-down direction. The side wall 11 constitutes most of the appearance of the side face of the electrical junction box 1.
The outer surfaces of a plurality of portions (8 portions in this example) in the circumferential direction of the lower end portion of the side wall portion 11 are integrally provided with engaged portions 12 each including a through hole extending in the up-down direction. The locked portion 12 has a function of assembling the lower cover 20 to the frame 10. Further, engaged portions 13 are integrally provided on outer surfaces of a plurality of portions (three portions in this example) in the circumferential direction of the upper end portion of the side wall portion 11. The locked portion 13 has a function of assembling the upper cover 30 to the frame 10.
A semicircular cylindrical groove portion 14 that opens downward is provided in a portion of the side wall portion 11 corresponding to the wire drawing hole in the rear left portion so as to extend obliquely in the left-lower direction. The groove-like portion 14 has a function of constituting an upper portion of an inner wall of the wire drawing hole forming the rear left portion. A semicircular groove 15 that opens downward is provided in a portion of the side wall 11 corresponding to the wire drawing hole in the front right portion so as to extend rightward. The groove 15 has a function of constituting an upper portion of an inner wall of the wire drawing hole forming the front right portion.
Support portions 16 extending downward are integrally provided on outer surfaces of a plurality of portions in the circumferential direction of the lower end portion of the side wall portion 11. The support portion 16 has a function of fixing the frame 10 (i.e., the electrical junction box 1) to a mounting portion of the vehicle by assembling a front end portion thereof to the mounting portion of the vehicle.
The side wall 11 near (in this example, rearward of) the stud bolt S is provided with an assembled portion 17 to which the side cover 40 is assembled. The assembled portion 17 is provided with a portion to be locked (not shown), and the portion to be locked is locked with a locking portion (not shown) of the side cover 40, for example.
Next, the lower cover 20 will be described. As shown in fig. 1, the lower cover 20 integrally includes: an annular side wall 21 forming a majority of the appearance of the lower side surface of the electrical junction box 1, and a bottom wall 22 closing the annular lower end opening of the side wall 21 and forming a majority of the appearance of the bottom surface of the electrical junction box 1. The annular upper edge of the side wall 21 has a shape corresponding to the annular lower edge of the side wall 11 of the frame 10, and can be fitted to the annular lower edge of the side wall 11.
On the outer surfaces of a plurality of portions (8 portions in this example) in the circumferential direction of the upper end portion of the side wall portion 21, locking pieces 23 extending upward are integrally provided in correspondence with the plurality of locked portions 12 of the frame 10, respectively.
A semicircular cylindrical groove portion 24 that opens upward is provided in a portion of the side wall portion 21 corresponding to the wire drawing hole in the rear left portion so as to extend obliquely in the left-lower direction. The groove 24 has a function of forming a lower portion of an inner wall of the wire drawing hole forming the rear left portion. A semicircular groove portion 25 that opens upward is provided in a portion of the side wall portion 21 corresponding to the wire drawing hole in the front right portion so as to extend rightward. The groove 24 has a function of forming a lower portion of an inner wall of the wire drawing hole forming the front right portion.
Next, the upper cover 30 will be described. As shown in fig. 1, the upper cover 30 integrally includes: a ring-shaped side wall portion 31 constituting most of the appearance of the upper side surface of the electrical junction box 1; and an upper wall portion 32 that closes the annular upper end opening of the side wall portion 31 and constitutes most of the external appearance of the upper surface of the electrical junction box 1. The annular lower edge of the side wall 31 has a shape corresponding to the annular upper edge of the side wall 11 of the frame 10, and can be fitted to the annular upper edge of the side wall 11. The outer surfaces of a plurality of portions (3 portions in this example) in the circumferential direction of the side wall portion 31 are integrally provided with locking portions 33 corresponding to the plurality of locked portions 13 of the frame 10, respectively.
Next, the side cover 40 will be described. As shown in fig. 2 to 5, the side cover 40 is integrally formed of a first wall portion 41 extending in the up-down direction and a pair of second wall portions 43 arranged apart from each other in the left-right direction. Thus, the side cover 40 is formed with the receiving portion 42 of the terminal-attached electric wire 50 that is open in the forward and up-down directions.
In the present embodiment, the second wall portions 43 are provided at the left and right ends of the first wall portion 41 and at the substantially central region in the left-right direction, respectively. Thus, the pair of storage portions 42 are adjacently arranged in the left-right direction. The second wall 43 is formed integrally with the upper and lower regions of the substantially central region in the lateral direction.
That is, the first wall portion 41 functions as a so-called bottom wall, the second wall portions 43 at both ends in the left-right direction function as so-called side walls, and the second wall portion in the substantially central region in the left-right direction functions as a partition wall of the so-called adjacent housing portion 42. The second wall portion 43 has a function of restricting displacement of the terminal 52 (in particular, the counterpart connecting portion 54) in the lateral direction in the held state of the terminal-equipped wire 50 (see fig. 7).
The first wall 41 is composed of a first portion 41a located in a vertically lower region, a second portion 41b located in a vertically upper region, and a third portion located between the first portion 41a and the second portion 41 b. Further, the first portion 41a is located further rearward than the second portion 41 b. As a result, as will be described later, the space required for the assembly work of the terminal-attached electric wire 50 to the side cover 40 can be ensured while suppressing the rattling of the terminal 52.
The second wall portions 43 are provided with mounting portions 44 on which the counterpart connection portions 54 of the terminal-equipped wires 50 are mounted, and the mounting portions 44 protrude inward of the corresponding housing portions 42 (see fig. 4 to 5). Each of the second wall portions 43 is provided with a first regulating portion 45 disposed above and forward of the mounting portion 44, and the first regulating portion 45 protrudes toward the inside of the corresponding housing portion 42. The first regulating portion 45 has a function of regulating the displacement of the terminal 52 (in particular, the counterpart connecting portion 54) in the up-down direction by sandwiching the counterpart connecting portion 54 together with the mounting portion 44 in the up-down direction in the held state of the terminal-attached electric wire 50 (see fig. 6).
A pair of second regulating portions 46 (see fig. 4) disposed so as to be spaced apart in the left-right direction of the housing portion 42 are provided in the first wall portion 41 (specifically, the third portion 41 c) at positions corresponding to the respective housing portions 42 so as to protrude forward. The second regulating portion 46 has a function of regulating displacement of the terminal 52 (particularly, the counterpart connecting portion 54) in the front-rear direction by sandwiching the counterpart connecting portion 54 together with the mounting portion 44 in the front-rear direction in the held state of the terminal-equipped wire 50 (see fig. 6).
The frame 10, the lower cover 20, the upper cover 30, and the side cover 40 constituting the electrical junction box 1 are described above. In order to assemble the electrical junction box 1 constituted by the frame 10, the lower cover 20, the upper cover 30, and the side cover 40, it is necessary to assemble the lower cover 20, the upper cover 30, and the side cover 40 to the frame 10, respectively.
First, the lower cover 20 is assembled to the frame 10. In order to assemble the lower cover 20 to the frame 10, the plurality of locking pieces 23 (see fig. 1) of the lower cover 20 are inserted into the plurality of through holes of the locked portions 12 (see fig. 1) of the frame 10 from below, respectively, and in this state, the annular upper end edge portion of the side wall portion 21 of the lower cover 20 is fitted with the annular lower end edge portion of the side wall portion 11 of the frame 10, and the plurality of locking pieces 23 are locked to the plurality of locked portions 12. Thereby, the assembly of the lower cover 20 to the frame 10 is completed.
Then, the terminal-attached electric wire 50 is assembled to the side cover 40 (described in detail later). Then, the side cover 40 is assembled to the frame 10. To assemble the side cover 40 to the frame 10, the terminal-attached electric wire 50 is connected and coupled with the stud bolts S, and the side cover 40 is assembled to the assembled portion 17 of the frame 10.
Specifically, the terminal-equipped wire 50 is connected and coupled to the stud bolt S by inserting the hole portion 55 of the terminal 52 of the terminal-equipped wire 50 through the stud bolt S and then tightening the nut N. Then, the locking portion (not shown) of the side cover 40 is locked to the locked portion (not shown) of the frame 10. Thereby, the assembly of the side cover 40 to the frame 10 is completed.
Then, the upper cover 30 is assembled to the frame 10. In order to assemble the upper cover 30 to the frame 10, the annular lower end edge portion of the side wall portion 31 of the upper cover 30 is fitted to the annular upper end edge portion of the side wall portion 11 of the frame 10, and the plurality of locking portions 33 of the upper cover 30 are locked to the plurality of locked portions 12 of the frame 10. Thereby, the assembly of the upper cover 30 to the frame 10 is completed.
Thereby, the lower cover 20, the upper cover 30, and the side cover 40 are assembled to the frame 10, respectively, thereby completing the electrical junction box 1. The order of the assembly process of the lower cover 20 to the frame 10 and the assembly process of the side cover 40 to the frame 10 is not limited.
In the assembled state of the electrical junction box 1, the plurality of locking pieces 23 are locked to the plurality of locked portions 12, so that the lower cover 20 can be prevented from being separated downward from the frame 10. Similarly, the plurality of locking portions 33 are locked with the plurality of locked portions 13, whereby the upper cover 30 can be prevented from being separated upward from the frame 10. In addition, with respect to the side cover 40, similarly, the side cover 40 can be prevented from being separated rearward from the frame 10 by locking the locked portion (not shown) of the frame 10 with the plurality of locking portions (not shown) of the side cover 40.
Further, an electric wire insertion passage (not shown) through which the terminal-equipped electric wire 50 is inserted is formed by the outer surface of the assembled portion 17 of the frame 10 and the inner surface of the housing portion 42 of the side cover 40. Similarly, a wire drawing hole is formed in the rear left portion through which a power supply wire (not shown) is inserted, by the groove portion 14 of the frame 10 and the groove portion 24 of the lower cover 20. Similarly, the groove 15 of the frame 10 and the groove 25 of the lower cover 20 form a wire drawing hole in the front right portion through which a power supply wire (not shown) is inserted.
Next, a method of assembling the terminal-attached electric wire 50 to the side cover 40 will be described with reference to fig. 8 to 9. First, the upper end portion of the terminal-equipped wire 50 is inclined so as to be inclined rearward, and the counterpart connecting portion 54 is inserted into the gap between the mounting portion 44 and the second regulating portion 46 (see fig. 8).
After the mating-side connecting portion 54 is inserted into the predetermined position, the upper end portion of the backward terminal-equipped wire 50 is returned to the original position so that the mating-side connecting portion 54 and the mounting portion 44 face each other in the vertical direction (in other words, are substantially parallel to each other), and the terminal-equipped wire 50 is moved downward so that the mating-side connecting portion 54 and the mounting portion 44 are relatively brought close to each other (see an arrow in fig. 9). The counterpart connecting portion 54 moves downward from above to the first regulating portion 45 of Fang Yueguo while moving downward, and then reaches a predetermined position. Thereby, the terminal-attached electric wire 50 is assembled to the side cover 40. In other words, the terminal-equipped wire 50 is held by the side cover 40 (see fig. 2 and 6 to 7).
In the holding state, the opposite side connection portion 54 is sandwiched between the pair of second wall portions 43 in the lateral direction, and the displacement of the terminal 52 in the lateral direction is restricted (see fig. 7). Similarly, in the held state, the opposite side connection portion 54 is sandwiched between the mounting portion 44 and the first regulating portion 45 in the up-down direction, and the displacement of the terminal 52 in the up-down direction is regulated (see fig. 6). Similarly, in the held state, the opposite side connection portion 54 is sandwiched between the mounting portion 44 and the second regulating portion 46 in the front-rear direction, and the displacement of the terminal 52 in the front-rear direction is regulated (see fig. 6).
Further, by providing the mounting portion 44 and the first restricting portion 45 at different positions in the front-rear direction with respect to the counterpart connecting portion 54 extending in the front-rear direction, the side cover 40 can more appropriately suppress rattling of the terminal 52 (particularly, floating of the front end of the counterpart connecting portion 54).
In this way, the side cover 40 can suppress the shake of the terminal 52 by restricting the displacement of the terminal 52 in each direction. This can improve the positioning accuracy of the hole 55 of the terminal 52 of the terminal-equipped wire 50, and can easily connect and link the terminal-equipped wire 50 to the stud S when the side cover 40 is assembled to the frame 10, for example. Further, since the rattling of the terminal 52 caused by the pulling of the wire 51 can be suppressed, the wire 51 can be drawn out in a desired direction.
In addition, the assembly work of the terminal-attached electric wire 50 to the side cover 40 can be performed in a so-called single operation, and the assembly work is excellent.
Further, since no member is provided in the second portion 41b of the first wall portion 41, when the terminal-equipped wire 50 is inserted into the gap between the mounting portion 44 and the second regulating portion 46, the upper end portion of the terminal-equipped wire 50 does not need to be inclined rearward as compared with the case where a projection or the like is provided in the second portion 41b, and therefore, the distance in the front-rear direction between the first portion 41a and the second portion 41b can be made closer. That is, the side cover 40 of the present embodiment can be miniaturized.
(other modes)
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be appropriately modified or improved. The material, shape, size, number, arrangement position, and the like of the respective constituent elements in the above embodiment are not limited as long as the present invention can be realized.
As shown in fig. 10, a surface (in this example, a lower end surface) of the first regulating portion 45 facing the counterpart connecting portion 54 may be formed in an inclined shape so as to approach the counterpart connecting portion 54 from the protruding tip toward the protruding base end. Generally, a gap needs to be provided between the locking portion and the locked member locked to the locking portion. Therefore, the engaged member may loosen only by the size of the gap. However, with the above-described configuration, the necessary clearance can be provided between the first regulating portion 45 and the counterpart connecting portion 54, and the clearance can be reduced at the protruding base end of the first regulating portion 45, so that the rattling of the terminal 52 can be more appropriately suppressed.
Here, the features of the embodiments of the resin body and the electrical junction box of the present invention are briefly summarized as follows [1] to [3], respectively.
[1]
A resin body (side cover 40) is configured to hold a terminal-equipped wire (50) having an L-shaped terminal (52) composed of a wire-side connection portion (53) and a counterpart-side connection portion (54), and is assembled to a housing (frame 10, lower cover 20, upper cover 30) in which an electronic component (R) is housed,
the first wall part (41) and the pair of second wall parts (43) extending along the first direction are integrally formed,
the pair of second wall portions (43) are arranged to be spaced apart in a second direction intersecting the first direction and are capable of restricting displacement of the terminal (52) in the second direction,
the pair of second wall portions 43 are provided with:
a mounting part (44) on which the counterpart connecting part (54) can be mounted;
a first restriction portion (45) that, together with the mounting portion (44), clamps the counterpart connection portion (54) in the first direction to restrict displacement of the terminal (52) in the first direction,
the first wall part (41) is provided with a second limiting part (46),
the second regulating portion (46) clamps the counterpart connecting portion (54) together with the mounting portion (44) in a third direction to regulate displacement of the terminal (52) in the third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction.
[2]
In the resin body (side cover 40) of [1] above,
the placement portion (44) and the first restriction portion (45) are provided at different positions in the third direction that is the extending direction of the counterpart connection portion (54).
[3]
An electrical junction box (1) is provided with: the resin body (side cover 40), terminal-attached wire (50), and case (frame 10, lower cover 20, upper cover 30) for housing electronic component (R) therein according to the above [1] or [2],
the terminal-equipped wire (50) has a wire (51) and an L-shaped terminal (52),
the wire-side connection part (53) and the counterpart-side connection part (54) of the terminal (52) are integrally formed,
the wire-side connection portion (53) extends in the first direction and is connected to the wire (51),
the counterpart connecting portion (54) extends in the third direction and is connected to a stud bolt (S) provided to the housing.
The resin body according to the above [1], wherein the pair of second wall portions sandwich the counterpart connecting portion in the second direction, thereby restricting displacement of the terminal in the second direction.
According to the resin body of the structure of the above [2], the placement portion and the first regulating portion are provided at different positions in the third direction with respect to the counterpart connecting portion extending in the third direction, whereby the shake of the terminal can be more appropriately suppressed.
The electrical junction box according to the above [3], wherein the pair of second wall portions sandwich the counterpart connecting portion in the second direction, thereby restricting displacement of the terminal in the second direction.
