Description

Toothbrush with tooth brush
Technical Field
The present invention relates to toothbrushes.
Background
In order to improve the cleaning feeling in the oral cavity, some toothbrushes increase the number of bristles. As a toothbrush in which the number of bristles is increased, there is a toothbrush in which 75 to 180 bristles (the number of tips) are implanted in a flat wire in a large diameter (for example, 2 to 3 mm) implantation hole (flat wire type dense bristle toothbrush).
Although the flat wire type dense bristle toothbrush can increase the number of bristles, the number of bristles is insufficient for significantly improving the cleaning feeling.
In order to solve such a problem, a toothbrush has been proposed which has a plurality of bristle grooves (for example, a central bristle groove and an outer ring bristle groove surrounding the central bristle groove) provided on a brush head, the bristle grooves being provided with a space therebetween, and the bottom of a bundle of bristles being fixed by heat fusion in the bristle grooves (patent document 1). According to the invention of patent document 1, it is attempted to increase the bristle density and the cleaning force.

Disclosure of Invention
[ problem ] to be solved by the invention
However, in the invention of patent document 1, although the density of the planted hair is increased, sufficient cleaning feeling is not obtained.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush which can further improve the feeling of cleaning.
[ means for solving the problems ]
The present inventors have conducted intensive studies and have obtained the following findings. When the area of the bristle bundles (tufts) is large, the bristle density can be increased, but interference between tufts and rebound after interference are less likely to occur. Therefore, when the tuft area is increased alone, the deflection amount of the tufts and the deflection direction thereof are too uniform, and the cleaning feeling cannot be improved. The term "interference" between the tufts means that the tufts are in contact with other tufts present at the distal end of the flexure. "rebound" refers to a new deflection action (deflection, deflection direction, etc.) of each tuft and bristle caused by interference between tufts.
The present invention has been completed based on the related findings, and has the following means.

Detailed Description
The toothbrush of the invention has a brush handle body and a brush body with non-flat wire type bristle planting. The brush body has a central tuft with a central tuft slot that is a bristle-free region and an outer Zhou Maoshu located outwardly of the central tuft.
Hereinafter, the toothbrush according to the present invention will be described with reference to the embodiments.
The term "non-flat wire type hair-planting" refers to a hair-planting method other than flat wire type hair-planting, and may be exemplified by hair-planting by in-mold (in mold) molding, heat welding, or the like.
(first embodiment)
The toothbrush 1 of fig. 1 has a handle body 10 and a brush body 20. The handle body 10 has an elongated handle portion 12 and a head portion 14 provided at a front end of the handle portion 12. The brush handle 12 has a grip portion for gripping when the toothbrush 1 is operated, and a brush neck portion formed between the grip portion and the brush head portion 14 and tapered toward the brush head portion 14, for example. In addition, the handle body 10 may not have a brush neck.
The handle body 10 is a molded body made of, for example, resin. The brush head portion 14 and the handle portion 12 may be formed as a single piece or may be formed as a combination of separate pieces. The brush head portion 14 may be formed of more than 2 pieces. For example, as a brush head portion composed of 2 or more members, a combination of a base having a bristle surface and a head member (head piece) of a cassette (cassette) fitted to the base, or the like is given. At this time, a recess is formed in the base, a depression is formed in the recess, and the head member is fitted into the depression, thereby obtaining the brush head.
The material forming the handle body 10 may be selected in consideration of the rigidity, mechanical properties, and the like required of the toothbrush. Examples of the material constituting the handle body 10 include a high-hardness resin having a flexural modulus (JIS K7203) of 500MPa to 3000 MPa. Examples of the high-hardness resin include polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polycyclohexamethylene terephthalate (PCT), polystyrene (PS), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin (ABS), cellulose Propionate (CP), polyarylate, polycarbonate, acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer resin (AS), polyacetal resin (POM), and the like. These resins may be used singly or in combination of two or more. The brush head portion 14 and the handle portion 12 may be partially or entirely covered with a soft resin such as an elastomer.
The material of the brush head portion 14 may be the same as or different from the material of the handle portion 12.
The lower limit value of the length L14 of the brush head portion 14 is preferably 15mm or more, more preferably 18mm or more. The upper limit of the length L14 of the brush head portion 14 is preferably 35mm or less, more preferably 32mm or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the length L14 of the brush head portion 14 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 15 to 35mm.
The lower limit value of the width W14 of the brush head portion 14 is preferably 6mm or more, more preferably 8mm or more. The upper limit of the width W14 of the brush head portion 14 is preferably 18mm or less, more preferably 16mm or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the width W14 of the brush head portion 14 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 6 to 18mm.
The lower limit of the thickness of the brush head portion 14 is preferably 2.0mm or more, more preferably 2.2mm or more. The upper limit of the thickness of the brush head portion 14 is preferably 5.5mm or less, more preferably 5.2mm or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the thickness of the brush head portion 14 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 2.0 to 5.5mm.
The thickness of the brush head portion 14 is in the direction from the bristle surface 15 toward the back surface.
The brush body 20 is positioned on the bristle surface 15 of the brush head 14. Brush body 20 is an assembly of 2 or more bristles that are set in brush head 14.
Brush body 20 has a central tuft 30 and a peripheral tuft 40.
Central tuft 30 is positioned in the region of head 14 that includes the center of bristle surface 15. The outer edge 39 of the central tuft 30 is shaped like an ellipse having a major axis extending in the longitudinal direction of the brush head 14. The outer edge 39 is the outer edge of the central tuft 30 in the bristle surface 15. In addition, the shape of the outer edge 39 may be arbitrarily selected, and may be, for example, polygonal.
Peripheral tufts 40 are spaced from central tuft 30 outwardly of central tuft 30 (i.e., closer to the periphery of brush head 14 than central tuft 30). A bristle-free region 38 is formed between the outer edge 39 of the central tuft 30 and the inner edge 49 of the peripheral tuft 40. The shape of the inner edge 49 of the peripheral tuft 40 is approximately similar to the shape of the outer edge 39. Thus, the bristle-free region 38 is approximately elliptical in plan view. The near-similar shape is a shape that can be recognized as similar in view, and is not limited to a strict similar shape. However, the shape of the inner edge 49 may not be an approximately similar shape to the shape of the outer edge 39.
Central tuft 30 has a central tuft slit 36 which is cross-shaped in plan view. The center tuft slit 36 is a combination of a linear end slit extending in the width direction of the brush head 14 and a linear end slit extending in the longitudinal direction of the brush head 14. Further, the central tuft slit 36 takes a shape that diverges from 1 straight line to 3 straight lines. In the present embodiment, the end portions of the center tuft slit 36 extend from the front end to the rear end in the longitudinal direction of the brush head portion 14 in the center tuft 30 and extend to both ends in the width direction of the brush head portion 14 in the center tuft 30 in a planar view. That is, the 4 ends of central tuft slit 36 are open at the outer edge 39 of central tuft 30.
The longitudinal direction of the brush head 14 is the direction in which the brush handle 12 and the brush head 14 are connected. The width direction of the brush head 14 is a direction perpendicularly intersecting the longitudinal direction of the brush head 14.
Central tuft 30 is divided into 4 central tuft cells 32 by central tuft slit 36. In this embodiment, the 4 central tuft units 32 are separated from each other. Each of the central tuft units 32 is a tuft formed by non-flat wire type bristles.
The central tuft slot 36 is shaped differently than the tuft free area 38. The end slits (long side slits) of the central tuft slit 36 extending in the longitudinal direction of the brush head 14 are straight, whereas the outer edges of the central tufts 30 are arcuate. Accordingly, the distance between the long-side slit and the outer edge 39 of the central tuft 30 becomes longer and then shorter as it goes from the front end toward the base end of the brush head 14, depending on the shape of the outer edge 39. That is, the distance from center tuft slit 36 to outer edge 39 of center tuft 30 (the distance in the width direction of brush head 14) varies toward one of the longitudinal directions of center tuft slit 36. The "distance change" means that the minimum value and the maximum value of the distance between the central tuft slit and the outer edge of the central tuft are 1.2 times or more in any region.
The width of the central tuft unit 32 closer to the front end of head 14 widens from the front end toward the base end of head 14, depending on the shape of outer edge 39. The width of the central tuft unit 32 closer to the base end of head 14 narrows from the front end toward the base end of head 14, depending on the shape of outer edge 39.
The peripheral tufts 40 have outer Zhou Maoshu slits 46 which are bristle-free regions of no bristles. In this embodiment, the peripheral tuft 40 has 4 outer Zhou Maoshu slits 46. Each of the peripheral tuft slits 46 penetrates the inside and outside (the central side and the peripheral side of the tufted surface) of the peripheral tufts 40. The outer Zhou Maoshu is divided into 4 peripheral tuft units by 4 outer Zhou Maoshu slits 46. In this embodiment, the 4 peripheral tuft units are separated from each other.
In this embodiment, the outer Zhou Maoshu small units are: first peripheral tuft small units 41a, 41b sandwiching central tuft 30 in the length direction of brush head 14, and second peripheral tuft small units 42a, 42b sandwiching central tuft 30 in the width direction of brush head 14.
First peripheral tuft unit 41a is located on the front end side of brush head 14 with respect to central tuft 30. The first peripheral tuft unit 41a has an arcuate shape that expands in the direction of the distal end of the brush head 14. The first peripheral tuft unit 41b is located on the base end side (i.e., the handle side) of the brush head 14 with respect to the central tuft 30. The first peripheral tuft unit 41b is arcuate and expands in the direction of the base end of the brush head 14.
The second peripheral tuft unit 42a is located on one of the brush head 14 in the width direction with respect to the central tuft 30. The second peripheral tuft unit 42b is located on the other side of the central tuft 30 in the width direction of the brush head 14. The second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b are arcuate in shape, expanding in the width direction of the brush head 14.
In the present embodiment, the shape of the non-tufted area 38 surrounded by the inner edge 49 and the outer edge 39 in the plane view is different from the shape of the central tuft slit 36 in the plane view.
In the present embodiment, the outer Zhou Maoshu slit 46 is absent in the extending direction of the central tuft slit 36. That is, in the extending direction of the central tuft slit 36, there are bristles of the peripheral tufts 40. Thus, the 4 ends of the central tuft slit 36 open at the outer edge 39 of the central tuft 30 and are blocked by the outer Zhou Maoshu small cells. Since the outer periphery Zhou Maoshu 40 is provided in the extending direction of the end slit opening at the outer periphery 39 of the center tuft 30, the amount of deflection can be controlled well by the outer periphery tufts 40, and the repulsive force can be imparted to the outer periphery tufts 40, thereby further improving the cleaning feeling.
Central tuft 30 has a projection 34 that projects outwardly from slit 46 at a planar view of Zhou Maoshu. By having the protruding portion 34, the deflection of the brush hair in the protruding portion 34 toward the outer Zhou Maoshu slit 46 becomes large, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved.
The material of the bristles constituting the central tuft 30 is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include polyamide, polybutylene terephthalate, polytrimethylene terephthalate, polyolefin (polypropylene, etc.), styrene-based elastomer, polyester-based elastomer, and polyurethane-based elastomer. The material of the brush hair may be one kind or two or more kinds.
The lower limit value of the bristle height of the bristles constituting the central tuft 30 is preferably 6.0mm or more, more preferably 7.0mm or more. The upper limit of the bristle height of the bristles is preferably 13.0mm or less, more preferably 12.0mm or less. When the height of the bristles is equal to or greater than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. When the height of the bristles is equal to or less than the upper limit, the rigidity of the bristles can be improved, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. The lower limit and the upper limit of the height of the bristles may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 6.0 to 13.0mm. In addition, the bristle height of the bristles is the length from the bristle bearing surface 15 to the bristle tips.
The lower limit of the thickness of the bristles (bristle diameter) is preferably 3.0mil or more, more preferably 3.5mil or more. The upper limit of the bristle diameter is preferably 8.0mil or less, more preferably 7.5mil or less. The lower and upper limits of the bristle diameter may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 3.0 to 8.0mil. The bristle diameter is the maximum length of the bristle cross-sectional shape at the bristle setting surface location. When the cross-sectional shape of the bristle is a perfect circle, the bristle diameter is the diameter length of the cross-section. When the cross-sectional shape of the bristle is polygonal, the bristle diameter is the diagonal length of the cross-section. In addition, 1mil is 0.0254mm.
The kind of bristles (bristle tip shape, bristle diameter, material, etc.) of the center tuft 30 may be appropriately selected according to the desired function of the center tuft 30.
The lower limit of the area of central tuft 30 is preferably 25mm 2 The above is more preferably 30mm 2 The above. The upper limit of the area of central tuft 30 is preferably 55mm 2 Hereinafter, more preferably 50mm 2 The following is given. The lower limit and the upper limit of the area of central tuft 30 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 25 to 55mm 2 . When the area of the central tuft 30 is equal to or larger than the lower limit, the interference force between the bristles can be increased, and the feeling of cleaning can be further improved. When the area of the central tuft 30 is equal to or smaller than the upper limit, the deflection of the bristles can be increased, and the feeling of cleaning can be further improved.
In addition, the area of the central tuft 30 is an area in plan view at the position of the bristle surface 15, and is an area other than the central tuft slit 36.
Of the central tufts 30, 1 central tuft unit 32 is a tuft of bristles of 2 or more of the 1 implanted holes.
The lower limit of the area of the central tuft unit 32 is preferably 6mm 2 The above is more preferably 7mm 2 The above. The upper limit of the area of the central tuft unit 32 is preferably 13mm 2 Hereinafter, it is more preferably 12mm 2 The following is given. The lower limit and the upper limit of the area of the small central tuft unit 32 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 6 to 13mm 2 . When the area of the central tuft unit 32 is equal to or larger than the lower limit, the interference force between the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. When the area of the central tuft unit 32 is equal to or smaller than the upper limit, the deflection of the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved.
In addition, the area of the central tuft unit 32 is the area under the planar view at the location of the bristle surface 15.
In the present embodiment, the 4 central tuft units 32 have the same area as each other. "identical area" means that plus or minus 5% error is included.
The lower limit value of the planting density of the central tuft 30 is preferably 30 roots/mm 2 The above is more preferably 35 pieces/mm 2 The above. The upper limit value of the planting density of the central tuft 30 is preferably 75 roots/mm 2 Hereinafter, more preferably 70 roots/mm 2 The following is given. The lower limit and the upper limit of the density of the planted hair can be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 30 to 75 roots/mm 2 . When the bristle density of the center tuft 30 is equal to or higher than the lower limit, the interference force between the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. When the bristle density of the center tuft 30 is equal to or lower than the upper limit, the deflection of the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved.
The bristle density of the center tuft 30 is a value obtained by dividing the number of bristles constituting the center tuft 30 by the area of the center tuft 30 (excluding the area of the center tuft slit 36).
The lower limit value of the width W36 of the central tuft slit 36 is preferably 0.5mm or more, more preferably 0.7mm or more. The upper limit value of the width W36 is preferably 2.0mm or less, more preferably 1.8mm or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the width W36 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 0.5 to 2.0mm. When the width W36 is equal to or greater than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles can be further increased at or near the boundary between the central tuft slit 36 and the central tuft unit 32, and the cleaning feel can be further improved. When the width W36 is equal to or smaller than the upper limit value, the contact area of the central tuft 30 with the teeth can be further increased, and the bristles of the central tuft unit 32 are allowed to rebound with each other, thereby further improving the cleaning feeling.
In addition, width W36 may be the same or may be different throughout the entire region of central tuft slit 36.
As the material of the bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40, the same material as the material of the bristles constituting the central tufts 30 can be exemplified. The bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40 may be the same material as the bristles constituting the central tufts 30, or may be different.
The bristle height of the bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40 is the same as the bristle height of the bristles constituting the central tufts 30. The bristle height of the bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40 may be the same as the bristle height of the bristles constituting the central tufts 30, or may be different.
The bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40 have the same bristle diameter as the bristles constituting the central tufts 30. The bristle diameters of the bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40 may be the same as the bristle diameters of the bristles constituting the central tufts 30, or may be different.
The kind of bristles (bristle tip shape, bristle diameter, material, etc.) of the outer peripheral tufts 40 can be appropriately selected in accordance with the function required of the outer tufts Zhou Maoshu.
The lower limit value of the area of peripheral hair bundle 40 is preferably 35mm 2 The above is more preferably 40mm 2 The above. The upper limit of the area of peripheral tuft 40 is preferably 65mm 2 Hereinafter, more preferably 60mm 2 The following is given. The lower limit and the upper limit of the area of peripheral hair bundle 40 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 35 to 60mm 2 . When the area of the outer peripheral tuft 40 is equal to or larger than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles of the central tuft 30 can be further preferably controlled. Therefore, the rebound between the central tuft unit 32 and the peripheral tuft 40 and the rebound between the central tuft units 32 occur, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. When the area of the outer peripheral tuft 40 is equal to or smaller than the upper limit, the area of the central tuft 30 can be further increased, the contact area between the central tuft 30 and the teeth can be further increased, the deflection of the bristles can be further increased, and the feeling of cleaning can be further improved.
The area of the peripheral hair bundle 40 is an area at the position of the hair-planting surface 15 in a plane view, and is an area excluding the slit 46 of the outer Zhou Maoshu.
Of the peripheral tufts 40, 1 peripheral tuft unit is a tuft of bristles of 2 or more of the 1 implanted holes.
The lower limit of the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu small cell is preferably 6mm 2 The above is more preferably 7mm 2 The above. The upper limit of the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu small cell is preferably 20mm 2 Hereinafter, it is more preferably 19mm 2 The following is given. The lower limit and the upper limit of the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu small unit can be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 6 to 20mm 2 . When the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu small cell is equal to or larger than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles of the center tuft 30 can be further satisfactorily controlled. Therefore, the bounce between the central tuft unit 32 and the outer Zhou Maoshu units and the bounce between the central tuft units 32 occur, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. When the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu small cell is equal to or smaller than the upper limit, the area of the central tuft 30 can be further increased, the contact area between the central tuft 30 and the teeth can be further increased, the deflection of the bristles can be further increased, and the feeling of cleaning can be further improved.
In addition, the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu small unit is an area under a plan view at the position of the bristle surface 15.
In the present embodiment, the areas of the second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b are each larger than the areas of the first peripheral tuft units 41a, 41 b. The lower limit value of the ratio (second/first area ratio) of the area of the second peripheral tuft small units to the area of the first peripheral tuft small units (area of the second peripheral tuft small units/area of the first peripheral tuft small units) is preferably 1.2 or more, more preferably 1.3 or more. The upper limit value of the second/first area ratio is preferably 2.4 or less, more preferably 2.3 or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the second/first area ratio may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 1.2 to 2.4. The bristles of the second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b are more difficult to flex than the bristles of the first peripheral tuft units 41a, 41b when the second/first area ratio is above the lower limit. Thus, the second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b block the deflection of the bristles of the first peripheral tuft units 41a, 41b, and cause the bristles to interfere with each other and rebound. When the bristles interfere with each other and rebound, the bristles act differently, and the deflection amount and deflection direction of the bristles can be varied. When the second/first area ratio is equal to or smaller than the upper limit value, the linkage between the first peripheral tuft unit and the second peripheral tuft unit can be improved, the deflection of the bristles can be propagated more favorably, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved.
For example, when the toothbrush 1 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the brush head 14 to clean the inside of the oral cavity, the deflection of the bristles is sequentially propagated to the second outer portion Zhou Maoshu and the center tuft 30 starting from the first outer peripheral tuft units 41a and 41 b. In this case, when the second/first area ratio is equal to or greater than the lower limit value, the deflection amount, deflection direction, or reaction force of each bristle becomes various. When the second/first area ratio is equal to or smaller than the upper limit value, the entire action of the brush body 20 can be propagated into the oral cavity without interrupting the propagation of the deflection in the brush body 20. This can further improve the feeling of cleaning in the oral cavity.
The second peripheral tuft cells 42a, 42b each have an area greater than the area of the central tuft cell 32. The lower limit value of the magnification (second/central area ratio) of the area of the second peripheral tuft unit with respect to the area of the central tuft unit 32 (area of the second peripheral tuft unit/area of the central tuft unit) is preferably 1.5 times or more, more preferably 1.6 times or more. The upper limit value of the second/central area ratio is preferably 2.5 times or less, more preferably 2.3 times or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the second/central area ratio may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 1.5 to 2.5 times. The bristles of the second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b are more difficult to flex than the bristles of the central tuft unit 32 when the second/central area ratio is above the lower limit. Thus, the second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b block deflection of the bristles of the central tuft unit 32, causing interference and rebound of the bristles with each other. When the bristles interfere with each other and rebound, the bristles will act differently, so that the deflection amount or deflection direction of the bristles will be varied. When the second/central area ratio is equal to or smaller than the upper limit value, the linkage between the second peripheral tuft unit and the central tuft unit 32 can be improved, the deflection of the bristles can be propagated more favorably, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. This can further improve the feeling of cleaning.
The lower limit value of the ratio (first/central area ratio) of the area of the first peripheral tuft unit to the area of the central tuft unit 32 (the area of the first peripheral tuft unit/the area of the central tuft unit) is preferably 0.7 or more, more preferably 0.8 or more. The upper limit value of the first/central area ratio is preferably 1.3 or less, more preferably 1.2 or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the first/central area ratio may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 0.7 to 1.3. When the first/central area ratio is equal to or greater than the lower limit value, the chance of interference of the bristles from the first peripheral tuft units 41a, 41b with the central tuft unit 32 can be increased. When the first peripheral tuft units 41a and 41b have an increased chance of interference with the central tuft unit 32, the bristles bounce, and the respective bristles undergo different motions, so that the deflection amounts and deflection directions of the bristles can be varied. When the first/central area ratio is equal to or smaller than the upper limit value, the linkage between the first peripheral tuft unit and the central tuft unit 32 can be improved, the deflection of the bristles can be propagated more favorably, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. This can further improve the feeling of cleaning.
The lower limit value of the bristle density of the peripheral tufts 40 is preferably 35 roots/mm 2 The above is more preferably 40 pieces/mm 2 The above. The upper limit value of the bristle density of the peripheral tufts 40 is preferably 90 roots/mm 2 Hereinafter, more preferably 85 pieces/mm 2 The following is given. The lower limit and the upper limit of the density of the planted hair can be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 35 to 90 roots/mm 2 . When the bristle density of the peripheral tufts 40 is equal to or higher than the lower limit, the interference force between the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved. When the bristle density of the peripheral tufts 40 is equal to or lower than the upper limit, the deflection of the bristles can be increased, and the cleaning feeling can be further improved.
The bristle density of the peripheral tufts 40 is a value obtained by dividing the number of bristles constituting the peripheral tufts 40 by the area of the peripheral tufts 40 (excluding the area of the outer Zhou Maoshu slits 46).
The bristle density of each of the first peripheral tuft small units 41a, 41b is the same as the bristle density of the peripheral tuft 40.
The second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b each have the same bristle density as the peripheral tuft 40.
The bristle density of the first peripheral tuft unit may be the same as the bristle density of the second peripheral tuft unit, or may be different.
The lower limit value of the width W46 of the outer Zhou Maoshu slit 46 is preferably 1.0mm or more, more preferably 1.5mm or more. The upper limit of the width W46 is preferably 3.5mm or less, more preferably 4.0mm or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the width W46 may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 1.0 to 4.0mm. When the width W46 is equal to or greater than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles of the outer peripheral tufts 40 can be further increased at or near the boundary between the outer Zhou Maoshu slit 46 and the outer Zhou Maoshu small cell, and the cleaning feel can be further improved. When the width W46 is equal to or smaller than the upper limit value, the contact area of the central tuft 30 with the teeth can be further increased, and the bristles in the first outer peripheral tuft units 41a, 41b, the second outer peripheral tuft units 42a, 42b, or the central tuft 30 can be made to bounce against each other, thereby further improving the feeling of cleaning.
In addition, among the 4 outer Zhou Maoshu slits 46, the widths W46 may be the same as each other or may be different from each other.
According to the toothbrush of the present embodiment, since the tufts are provided by the non-flat-wire type bristles, the bristle density is higher than that of the flat-wire type bristles, the contact frequency of the bristles with the teeth and gums is increased, and the cleaning feeling is improved.
When the bristle density increases, the bristles interfere with each other, and the deflection amount and deflection direction of the bristles can be restricted. According to the toothbrush of this embodiment, the outer peripheral tufts are provided outside the central tufts, the central tufts are separated from the outer Zhou Maoshu, and a bristle-planting-free region is formed between the central tufts and the outer peripheral tufts. Thus, the bristles near the bristle-free region can increase the amount of deflection in the direction toward the bristle-free region. In addition, the bristles near the boundary with the non-tufted area are less restricted in the direction toward the non-tufted area or in the direction along the boundary with the non-tufted area, and flex in various directions.
According to the toothbrush of the present embodiment, since the toothbrush has the central tuft slit, the bristles in the vicinity of the central tuft slit can increase the amount of deflection toward the central tuft slit side. In addition, the bristles near the boundary with the central tuft slit are less restricted in the direction toward the central tuft slit or in the direction along the boundary with the central tuft slit, and are deflected in various directions.
That is, by providing the bristle-free region and the center tuft slit, the bristles in the vicinity of the bristle-free region and the bristles in the vicinity of the center tuft slit can flex in various directions, and the amount of flex becomes high, so that the cleaning feeling can be further improved.
Further, since the central tuft is surrounded by the outer portion Zhou Maoshu, the deflection of the bristles of the central tuft is appropriately controlled, and the brushing force of the entire central tuft can be enhanced, thereby further improving the feeling of cleaning.
According to the toothbrush of this embodiment, the distance between the central tuft slit and the outer edge of the central tuft varies from the front end toward the base end of the brush head. For example, in the case where the toothbrush reciprocates in the longitudinal direction of the brush head portion to clean teeth, the number of bristles contacting the teeth, the position of the central tuft slit, and the like are changed in combination with the operation of the toothbrush.
When a force is applied to 1 bristle in contact with teeth or the like in cleaning the oral cavity using a toothbrush, the forced bristle tries to flex and transmits the force to the adjacent other bristles. The bristles to which the force is transmitted are deflected or attempt to deflect in a direction which is difficult to restrict depending on the presence or absence of adjacent bristles.
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, the bristle-free region and the central tuft slit are formed, and the outer edge of the central tuft and the shape of the central tuft slit are combined. Accordingly, the action of each bristle to which the force is transmitted as a whole to the inside of the oral cavity in various directions and amounts of deflection, and the feeling of cleaning is improved.
That is, according to the toothbrush of the present embodiment, by providing the bristle-free region and the central tuft slot, the bristle is deflected in various directions according to the operation of the toothbrush while the bristle density of the toothbrush is high, and the deflection of the bristle is increased, thereby improving the feeling of brushing.
In the toothbrush of the present embodiment, the outer portion Zhou Maoshu is divided into 4 outer peripheral tuft units, but the outer portions Zhou Maoshu may be located at least on both sides in the width direction of the brush head.
For example, as shown in toothbrush 1a of fig. 2, outer Zhou Maoshu a can be comprised of only 2 second peripheral tuft units 42a, 42 b.
Alternatively, as shown in toothbrush 1b of fig. 3, outer Zhou Maoshu b can be endless, without peripheral tuft slits, surrounding the periphery of central tuft 30.
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, all of the 4 ends of the central tuft slit are blocked by the peripheral tufts. However, only a part of the end of the central tuft slit may be blocked by the peripheral tufts. For example, as shown in the toothbrush 1a of fig. 2, only the end portion that opens in the width direction of the brush head portion 14 may be blocked by the outer layer Zhou Maoshu a. Among them, from the viewpoints of appropriately controlling the amount of deflection of the central tuft bristles outward, improving the bristle repulsive force, and further improving the cleaning feeling, it is preferable that 2 or more of the end portions of the central tuft slits having the outer edge openings of the central tufts are closed with the outer periphery Zhou Maoshu, and more preferable that all of the end portions are closed with the outer periphery tufts.
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, the central tuft has an extension. However, as shown in toothbrush 1c of fig. 4, central tuft 30c may not have an extension projecting outwardly of slit 46 of Zhou Maoshu.
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, the central tuft slit has a cross shape in which a straight line extending in the longitudinal direction of the brush head intersects a straight line extending in the width direction of the brush head. However, as shown in the central tuft 30d of toothbrush 1d of fig. 5, central tuft slit 36d may be of the following shape: the shape of intersection of 2 straight lines inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the brush head portion 14 (axial direction of the brush handle body 10).
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, the central tuft slot is bifurcated. However, as shown in the central tuft 30e of toothbrush 1e of fig. 6, central tuft slit 36e may be of the following shape: a shape formed of 2 parallel straight lines inclined with respect to the axial direction of the handle body 10. In toothbrush 1e, the 4 ends of central tuft slit 36e are open at the outer edges of central tuft 30 e. Of the 4 ends of central tuft slit 36e, 2 are blocked by outer Zhou Maoshu and 2 are open by outer Zhou Maoshu slit 46.
Further, as shown by the central tuft 30f of toothbrush 1f of fig. 7, central tuft slit 36f may be a straight line extending in the width direction of head 14.
Alternatively, as shown by central tuft 30g of toothbrush 1g of fig. 8, central tuft slit 36g may be a straight line extending in the length direction of head 14.
In either toothbrush 1f, 1g, the ends of the central tuft slit are open at the outer edges of the central tuft, and the ends of the central tuft slit are blocked by the peripheral tuft.
(second embodiment)
A toothbrush according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The same components as those of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
Toothbrush 100 of fig. 9 has a central tuft 130 and peripheral tufts 40 located outwardly of central tuft 130.
The shape of the outer edge 39 of the central tuft 130 is the same as the shape of the outer edge 39 in the first embodiment.
Central tuft 130 has a central tuft slit 136 which is cross-shaped in plan view. The center tuft slit 136 is a combination of a linear end slit extending in the width direction of the brush head 14 and a linear end slit extending in the length direction of the brush head 14. Further, the central tuft slit 136 has a shape in which 1 straight line diverges into 3 straight lines. In this embodiment, the ends of central tuft slit 136 do not reach outer edge 39 of central tuft 30 in plan view. That is, the 4 ends of central tuft slit 136 are all blocked by central tuft 30. Thus, central tuft 130 is not split by central tuft slit 136.
In addition, there are outer Zhou Maoshu small cells in the direction of extension of central tuft slit 136.
The width W136 of the central tuft slit 136 is the same as the width W36 of the central tuft slit 36 in the first embodiment.
The lower limit value of the ratio (L136/L130 ratio) of the length L136 in the longitudinal direction of the central tuft slit 136 to the length L130 in the longitudinal direction of the central tuft 130 (the direction from the front end toward the base end of the brush head 14) is preferably 0.45 or more, more preferably 0.50 or more. The upper limit of the L136/L130 ratio is preferably 0.95 or less, more preferably 0.90 or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the L136/L130 ratio may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 0.45 to 0.95. When the ratio of L136/L130 is equal to or greater than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles of the center tuft 130 can be increased, and the deflection direction of the bristles can be varied, thereby further improving the feeling of cleaning.
L130 is, for example, 10 to 18mm.
The lower limit of the ratio (L137/W130 ratio) of the length L137 in the short side direction of the central tuft slit 136 to the length W130 in the short side direction (width direction of the brush head 14) of the central tuft 130 is preferably 0.45 or more, more preferably 0.50 or more. The upper limit of the L137/W130 ratio is preferably 0.95 or less, more preferably 0.90 or less. The lower limit and the upper limit of the L137/W130 ratio may be arbitrarily combined, and are preferably, for example, 0.45 to 0.95. When the L137/W130 ratio is equal to or greater than the lower limit, the deflection of the bristles of the center tuft 130 can be increased, and the deflection direction of the bristles can be varied, thereby further improving the cleaning feeling.
W130 is, for example, 4 to 10mm.
According to the toothbrush of the present embodiment, the number of bristles in the central tuft can be further increased, and thus soft touch feeling to teeth and gums can be enhanced.
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, the central tuft slot is cross-shaped in plan view. However, as shown in central tuft 130a of toothbrush 100a of fig. 10, central tuft slit 136a may be Y-shaped in plan view. The central tuft slot 136a diverges into 2 in the front end direction of the brush head 14.
Further, as shown by central tuft 130b of toothbrush 100b of fig. 11, central tuft slit 136b may be 1 straight line extending in the length direction of head 14.
Alternatively, as shown in central tuft 130c of toothbrush 100c of fig. 12, central tuft slit 136c may be shaped to follow the shape of the outer edge of central tuft 130 c. That is, central tuft slit 136c is in the shape of an arc that expands in the width direction of brush head 14 to the same extent as the outer edge of central tuft 130 c. When center tuft slit 136c is shaped to follow the outer edge of center tuft 130c, the distance between center tuft slit 136c and the outer edge of center tuft 130c varies little in the longitudinal direction of center tuft slit 136 c.
In the toothbrush of this embodiment, all ends of the central tuft slit do not open at the outer edges of the central tuft. However, only a portion of the end of the central tuft slit may be open at the outer edge of the central tuft.
For example, as shown in the central tuft 130d of toothbrush 100d of fig. 13, there may be a central tuft slit 136d comprised of 1 straight line extending in the length direction of head 14. Center tuft slot 136d opens at the outer edge of center tuft 130d only at the base end side of brush head 14. In the center tuft slit 136d, the end on the base end side of the brush head 14 is closed by the outer Zhou Maoshu, and the end on the tip end side of the brush head 14 is closed by the center tuft 130 d.
As shown in the central tuft 130e of toothbrush 100e of fig. 14, there may be a central tuft slit 136e which is Y-shaped in plan view and diverges into 2 at the front end side of head 14. In central tuft slit 136e, only 2 ends of the front end side of brush head 14 are open at the outer edge of central tuft 130 e. In the center tuft slit 136e, the end portions that open at the front end side of the brush head portion 14 are each directed outward Zhou Maoshu slit 46. That is, of the 3 ends in the center tuft slit 136e, the end on the base end side of the brush head 14 is closed by the center tuft 130e, and the end on the tip end side of the brush head 14 is open.
Alternatively, as shown by central tuft 130f of toothbrush 100f of fig. 15, there may be a central tuft slit 136f that is cross-shaped in plan view. Among the center tuft slits 136f, the end slits extending in the width direction of the brush head 14 open at the outer edges of the center tufts 130 f. Among the center tuft slits 136f, the end slits extending in the longitudinal direction of the brush head 14 do not reach the outer edges of the center tufts 130 f.
In the toothbrush 100f, the outer portion Zhou Maoshu a is provided only in the width direction of the brush head 14.
In toothbrush 100f, 2 of the 4 ends of central tuft slit 136f are open at the outer edge of central tuft 130f, blocked by outer Zhou Maoshu a, and the other 2 ends are blocked by central tuft 130 f.
(third embodiment)
A toothbrush according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. The same components as those of the first or second embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted.
Toothbrush 200 of fig. 16 has a central tuft 230 and peripheral tufts 40 located outwardly of central tuft 230.
The shape of the outer edge 39 of the central tuft 230 is the same as the shape of the outer edge 39 in the first embodiment.
Central tuft 230 has an endless central tuft slit 236 that is approximately elliptical in plan view. That is, central tuft slit 236 is an endless slit that encircles in a planar view. Central tuft 230 is divided into an inner region and an outer region surrounding the inner region by central tuft slit 236.
Central tuft slit 236 is approximately similar in shape to outer edge 39 in plan view. That is, the central tuft slot 236 takes a shape that follows the shape of the outer rim 39. Therefore, in any region in the longitudinal direction of central tuft slit 136c, there is no change in the distance between central tuft slit 136c and the outer edge of central tuft 130c (the maximum value is less than 1.2 times relative to the minimum value).
According to the present embodiment, since the endless slit is provided, the deflection of the brush in the vicinity of the endless slit becomes large, and the deflection and the rebound direction of the brush can be varied, so that the feeling of cleaning can be further improved.
The endless slit, which is the slit of the central tuft of this embodiment, is approximately similar in shape to the outer edge of the central tuft. However, the endless slit may not be approximately similar in shape to the outer edge of the central tuft. For example, the endless central tuft slot may be a perfect circle, a polygon, or the like.
