Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more apparent, the embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, as will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art, in the various embodiments of the present application, numerous technical details have been set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present application. However, the technical solutions claimed in the present application can be implemented without these technical details and with various changes and modifications based on the following embodiments. The following embodiments are divided for convenience of description, and should not be construed as limiting the specific implementation of the present application, and the embodiments may be mutually combined and referred to without contradiction.
The method for improving the downlink quality of the voice service is suitable for 4G, 5G and 6G networks, and can realize that VoLTE voice or VoNR voice is powered on in a downlink weak coverage scene or a downlink strong interference scene by PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared channel ) of the voice service of the target user equipment and/or PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control channel ) of the voice service of the target user equipment, thereby obviously improving the quality of the voice downlink communication.
The embodiment of the application relates to a method for improving downlink quality of voice service, as shown in fig. 1, including:
In this embodiment, the voice service is a voice service in a 4G network, a 5G network, or a 6G network. The remaining power may be the entire downlink available power, or may be the downlink available power corresponding to the voice service. Of course, if a cell has power sharing turned on, the remaining power also includes the available power shared by other cells. In addition, PDSCH is one of the physical downlink channels of LTE, which is a downlink channel for LTE to carry primary user data, and all user data can be used.
In one embodiment, before step 101, the method further includes: detecting the current block error rate of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service, and generating a first instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the PDSCH is higher than a first target block error rate and the modulation and coding strategy MCS value of the target UE is a preset MCS lower limit value.
The block error rate refers to the percentage of the erroneous block in all transmitted blocks, for example, the block error rate of the data channel in LTE is required to be 10%. In addition, the rate configuration in LTE can be achieved by MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme ) index values, where the MCS uses the factors affecting the communication rate of interest as columns of a table and the MCS index as rows to form a rate table. Each MCS index corresponds to a physical transmission rate under a set of parameters. The MCS value mentioned in this embodiment is the MCS index value. In addition, the method for improving the downlink quality of the voice service provided by the application is only aimed at a QPSK modulation mode or a modulation mode lower than QPSK, and each MCS index value in the rate table has a corresponding modulation mode, so that the preset MCS lower limit value can be set accordingly.
In another embodiment, in a case that the current block error rate of the PDSCH is higher than the first target block error rate and the MCS value of the target UE is the MCS lower limit, and before generating the first instruction, further comprising: updating the first target block error rate, wherein the updated first target block error rate is higher than the first target block error rate before updating; the current block error rate of the PDSCH of the target UE is re-detected, and the current block error rate of the re-detected PDSCH is higher than the updated first target block error rate.
It can be understood that when the block error rate of the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE is higher than the first target block error rate and the modulation and coding strategy MCS value of the target UE is the preset MCS lower limit value, the present application further improves the first target block error rate, that is, updates the first target block error rate so that the updated first target block error rate is higher than the first target block error rate before updating, that is, improves the tolerance to the block in error in the service transmission, that is, allows the voice quality to be slightly reduced. And after updating the first target block error rate, detecting the current block error rate of the PDSCH of the target UE again, and triggering to generate a first instruction to perform power-up operation when the current block error rate of the PDSCH detected again is higher than the updated first target block error rate, so that the voice downlink performance is improved.
In an embodiment, step 102 is specifically to power PDSCH of the target UE voice service based on the remaining power and a preset first power step. Re-detecting the current block error rate of the PDSCH after the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE is powered on based on the residual power and a preset first power step length; and generating a first instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the re-detected PDSCH is higher than the updated first target block error rate. Such as: the first power step is set to 1db, i.e. 1db of power is added each time.
In one embodiment, step 102 is specifically: if the residual power exists in the PDSCH of the cell where the target UE is located and the current power of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service does not reach the reference power of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service, adding power to the PDSCH of the target UE voice service based on the residual power and the reference power.
It should be noted that, the PDSCH of each UE voice service has a reference power, the reference power represents the upper power limit of the PDSCH of the UE voice service, and once the PDSCH of the UE voice service has a power exceeding the reference power, the power-adding operation cannot be performed, which can be specifically defined and set according to the application scenario and the service requirement.
In an embodiment, reducing the number of PDSCH occupied resource blocks of the target UE voice traffic includes one or any combination of the following: if the Discontinuous Reception (DRX) function of the target UE is in an on state, closing the DRX function of the target UE; if the downlink coding rate of the target UE does not reach the preset rate lower limit value, reducing the downlink coding rate of the target UE; and if the downlink voice packet of the target UE is not segmented, segmenting the downlink voice packet.
Specifically, when the DRX (Discontinuous Reception ) function is in an on state, the number of consumed resource blocks may double, affecting the power-up effect. Such as: when the DRX function is off, it may schedule 1 VoLTE voice packet every 20ms, and when the DRX function is on, it becomes to schedule 2 VoLTE voice packets every 40ms, consuming doubled resource blocks. In addition, the downlink coding rate of the target UE is subjected to deceleration processing, so that the power-up effect can be better exerted, and the method is particularly suitable for a small-bandwidth scene. Such as: the lower rate limit may be set to AMR-WB6.6K, and if the downlink coding rate is AMR-WB23.85K and the lower rate limit has not yet been reached, the downlink coding rate of the target UE may be reduced at this time, specifically, the downlink coding rate may be reduced to AMR-WB12.65K or directly reduced to AMR-WB6.6K. Of course, this is merely a specific illustration, and the setting of the specific lower rate limit and the step size of the deceleration may be adjusted according to the application scenario and the quality improvement requirement. In addition, the slicing of the voice packet refers to slicing a VoLTE voice packet, so that each slice occupies fewer Resource Blocks (RBs), and the effect of PDSCH power is further improved. Preferably, it is recommended to divide into at most 2 pieces. Notably, slicing speech packets is mainly applied to small bandwidth scenarios.
It should be noted that, the optimal way to reduce the number of resource blocks occupied by PDSCH of the target UE voice service is: if the DRX function of the target UE is in an on state, closing the DRX function of the target UE; if the DRX function of the target UE is in a closed state and the downlink coding rate of the target UE does not reach a preset rate lower limit value, the downlink coding rate of the target UE is reduced; and if the DRX function of the target UE is in a closed state, the downlink coding rate of the target UE reaches the lower limit value of the rate, and the downlink voice packet is not segmented, the downlink voice packet is segmented.
In one embodiment, step 103 is specifically: and adding power to the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE based on the power occupied by the reduced resource blocks and the first adding power step length. After power is added to the PDSCH of the target UE voice service, the current block error rate of the PDSCH needs to be detected again; and generating a first instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the re-detected PDSCH is higher than the updated first target block error rate.
In addition, in order to further guarantee the effect of power, this application still includes: responding to the first instruction, and sending a request for suspending using the target time-frequency resource to the adjacent cell of the cell; the target time-frequency resource refers to a time-frequency resource currently used by the voice service of the target UE. Therefore, the adjacent cell of the cell where the target UE is located can use the target time-frequency resource by suspending, so that the downlink quality of the voice service of the target UE can be fully ensured to be improved.
According to the method for improving the downlink quality of the voice service, when the residual power exists in the PDSCH of the cell where the target User Equipment (UE) is located, the PDSCH is powered on based on the residual power, and when the residual power does not exist, the number of the resource blocks occupied by the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE is reduced to be the PDSCH powered on, so that the downlink quality of the voice service can be obviously improved through the power-on method.
The embodiment of the application relates to a method for improving downlink quality of voice service, as shown in fig. 2, including:
in step 201, in response to the first instruction, it is determined whether there is remaining power in the PDSCH of the cell in which the target UE is located, where the target UE is a UE that is processing voice traffic.
In step 203, if there is no remaining power in the PDSCH of the cell in which the target UE is located, the number of resource blocks occupied by the PDSCH of the target UE voice service is reduced, and the PDSCH of the target UE voice service is powered on based on the power occupied by the reduced resource blocks.
In this embodiment, the specific implementation details of steps 201 to 203 and steps 101 to 103 are substantially the same, and are not described herein.
In step 204, in response to the second instruction, a PDSCH power-down manner for the target UE is determined according to the PDSCH power-up manner for the target UE voice traffic.
In one embodiment, prior to step 204, further comprising: and re-detecting the current block error rate of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service, and generating a second instruction under the condition that the re-detected current block error rate of the PDSCH is lower than a preset first target block error rate.
It can be understood that the current block error rate of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service needs to be re-detected after each power-up of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service, and once the current block error rate is lower than the preset first target block error rate, the current voice service has better downlink quality and has been improved, and based on this, a second instruction is produced, and the power-down operation is triggered. The method for reducing power of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service is to control operation according to the PDSCH power-up method of the target UE voice service. It should be noted that the first target block error rate at this time may be the updated first target block error rate.
In this embodiment, step 205 specifically includes: and the PDSCH power reduction of the target UE voice service is carried out according to the determined power reduction mode and the preset first power reduction step length. After the PDSCH for the target UE voice service is de-powered, the current block error rate of the PDSCH for the UE voice service needs to be re-detected; and generating a second instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the re-detected PDSCH is lower than a preset first target block error rate.
It should be noted that, similar to the power-up process, when power-down is performed, the current block error rate of the PDSCH of the UE voice service needs to be re-detected after power-down is performed on the PDSCH of the target UE voice service each time. If the current block error rate is higher than the preset first target block error rate, the downlink voice service quality is poor, the power-up operation is performed, and if the current block error rate is lower than the preset first target block error rate, the downlink voice service quality is improved, the power-down operation is performed. Of course, the first target block error rate at this time may be the updated first target block error rate.
In an embodiment, the manner of PDSCH power reduction for the target UE voice traffic is determined, including one or any combination of the following manners: if the downlink voice packet of the target UE is fragmented, the fragments of the downlink voice packet are combined; if the downlink coding rate of the target UE does not reach the preset rate upper limit value, the downlink coding rate of the target UE is improved; and if the DRX function of the target UE is in an off state, starting the DRX function of the target UE.
Specifically, the voice packet slicing is combined, the downlink coding rate is improved, the DRX function is turned on, the DRX function is turned off in the power-up process, the downlink coding rate is reduced, the voice packet slicing is performed, and the like, so that the operations are reverse control operations.
It should be noted that, the optimal way to determine PDSCH power reduction for the target UE voice service is: if the downlink voice packet of the target UE is fragmented, the fragments of the downlink voice packet are combined; if the downlink voice packet of the target UE is not fragmented and the downlink coding rate of the target UE does not reach the upper limit value of the rate, the downlink coding rate of the target UE is improved; and if the downlink voice packet of the target UE is not fragmented, the downlink coding rate of the target UE reaches the rate upper limit value, and the DRX function of the target UE is in a closed state, starting the DRX function of the target UE.
When the downlink quality of the voice service is improved, the power of the PDSCH is reduced in the opposite direction according to the power adding mode of the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE, so that the residual power of the PDSCH of the cell where the target UE is positioned can be fully utilized, and the waste of the power is avoided.
The embodiment of the application relates to a method for improving downlink quality of voice service, as shown in fig. 3, including:
In this embodiment, the quality of voice service on the PDCCH is mainly improved.
In one embodiment, before step 301, the method further includes: detecting the current block error rate of the PDCCH of the target UE voice service, and generating a third instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the PDCCH is higher than the second target block error rate and the CCE aggregation degree of the target UE voice service is a preset aggregation degree upper limit value.
The CCEs (Control Channel Element, control channel elements) are basic elements constituting the PDCCH, and the number of CCEs in the PDCCH is referred to as the aggregation level. When the PDCCH is transmitted, the control information can be determined to be transmitted with a certain degree of aggregation according to the actual wireless channel environment, and when the wireless channel environment is severe, good demodulation performance can be obtained with a large degree of aggregation; when the wireless channel environment is better, a smaller degree of aggregation is adopted. In this embodiment, the preset upper limit value of the aggregation degree may be set by self-defining according to an application scenario, a network condition, a service requirement, and the like. Such as: for VoLTE, the upper limit value of the degree of polymerization may be set to 8, and for VoNR, the upper limit value of the degree of polymerization may be set to 16. When the current block error rate of the PDCCH is higher than the second target block error rate and the CCE aggregation degree of the target UE voice service is a preset aggregation degree upper limit value, the voice service quality is poor at the moment, and a third instruction needs to be generated to trigger the power-on operation.
In this embodiment, step 302 specifically includes: and adding power to the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE based on the residual power and a preset second power adding step length. After the PDCCH of the target UE voice service is powered up each time, the current block error rate of the PDCCH needs to be detected again; and generating a third instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the re-detected PDCCH is higher than a preset second target block error rate. It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the remaining power may be the entire downlink available power, or may be the downlink available power of the voice service. In addition, the second power step can be self-adjusted.
In one embodiment, after step 302, the method further includes: and responding to the fourth instruction, and reducing the power of the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE. In addition, in response to the fourth instruction, the power reduction of the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE is specifically as follows: responding to the fourth instruction, and powering down the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE based on the preset second power-down step length. Detecting the current block error rate of the PDCCH of the UE voice service again after the PDCCH of the target UE voice service is powered down each time; and generating a fourth instruction under the condition that the current block error rate of the re-detected PDCCH is lower than a preset second target block error rate.
It can be understood that, after each power-up operation or power-down operation, the current block error rate of the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE needs to be re-detected, and the operation to be executed is determined according to the current block error rate and the second target block error rate.
According to the method for improving the downlink quality of the voice service, the power is added for the PDCCH based on the residual power of the PDCCH of the cell where the target UE is located, so that the downlink quality of the voice service can be obviously improved.

If the current power of PDSCH of the target UE voice service and the current power of PDCCH of the target UE voice service exceed the downlink power threshold of the target UE voice service in the same scheduling period, the control signaling of the target UE voice service is put into the next scheduling period to be sent. Under the condition that the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE is powered on, the current power of the PDSCH is the power after the power is added; and under the condition that the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE is powered, the current power of the PDCCH is the power after the power is added.

As will be appreciated by those skilled in the art, when the PDSCH mainly carries user data and the PDCCH mainly carries control signaling, and the user data on the PDSCH and the control signaling on the PDCCH are scheduled in the same TTI (Transport Time Interval, transmission time interval), if the sum of the current power of the PDSCH of the target UE voice service and the current power of the PDCCH of the target UE voice service exceeds the downlink power threshold of the target UE voice service at this time, the control signaling of the target UE voice service is sent in the next scheduling period. Thus, the downlink quality of the voice service can be fully ensured.
According to the method for improving the downlink quality of the voice service, the downlink quality of the voice service can be obviously improved by powering the PDSCH of the voice service of the target UE and powering the PDCCH of the voice service of the target UE. When the PDCCH and the PDCCH are scheduled in the same TTI and the power is insufficient, the control signaling of the voice service of the target UE is sent in the next scheduling period, so that the downlink quality of the voice service is preferentially ensured.
