4. The motorized clip applier of claim 2, wherein said second housing has a second slot recessed into said second housing, a bottom wall of said second slot being provided with said second throughbore.

The motorized clip applier of claim 1, wherein said working head has a second housing having a mating end wall opposite a bottom wall of said mounting channel, and a plurality of said second connectors each passing through said mating end wall, an outer peripheral wall of said second housing having a first guide portion, and an inner side wall of said mounting channel having a second guide portion, said working head being mounted to said mounting channel with said first guide portion and said second guide portion being in guided engagement to mate one of said plurality of said second connectors with said adapter connector.
6. The motorized clip applier of any one of claims 1-5, wherein said drive device has a controller coupled to said first connector, said working head has an information storage coupled to said second connector, and said controller is adapted to obtain parameter information of said working head after said adapter connector is mated to both said first connector and said second connector.
