Description

Parking brake-based vehicle emergency brake control system and method
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of brake control of commercial vehicles, in particular to a parking brake-based vehicle emergency brake control system and method.
Background
Commercial vehicles generally employ a pneumatic brake system, and compressed air drives a vehicle brake to brake. The magnitude of the braking force of the vehicle is determined by the magnitude of the braking air pressure, the specification of the brake and the size of the brake air chamber, and the axle load of the vehicle is also a crucial factor for determining the magnitude of the braking force generated by the vehicle. For a two-axle vehicle, the front axle is generally a single-cavity brake chamber (only realizing service braking), and the rear axle is a double-cavity brake chamber, so that spring energy storage parking braking can be realized. The emergency braking test is carried out when the vehicle is in no-load, particularly for the vehicle with large front axle load, the requirement of national standard on the emergency braking efficiency of the vehicle cannot be met due to the fact that the rear axle load is too low, whether the vehicle is used for service braking (only rear axle braking under the condition that the front axle is invalid) or parking braking.
In the prior art, one solution is: the axle load of the rear axle under the no-load condition is increased through the reasonable distribution design of the axle load of the chassis. The scheme is that under the condition that the total axle load of the vehicle is not changed, the rear axle load under the condition that the vehicle is in no-load is increased, and the front axle load is reduced. Because the arrangement positions of a vehicle cab, a power assembly and the like are fixed, the distribution of the axle load of the vehicle is changed only by adjusting the positions of other accessories, so that the axle load of a rear axle under the condition of no load is improved, the improvement capability is limited, the improvement on the emergency braking efficiency is limited, and the national standard requirements are difficult to meet.
Another solution is: through all changing front axle brake chamber into two-chamber brake chamber, realize spring energy storage parking braking, can promote the emergent braking efficiency of vehicle, can satisfy the national standard requirement. However, since the front axle is a steering axle and the front axle brake chamber is changed into a dual-chamber brake chamber, the size of the brake chamber is increased, the brake chamber interferes with other parts of the chassis during steering, so that the steering performance of the vehicle cannot meet the requirement, and the front axle and a steering system need to be redesigned to avoid interference, which is difficult to realize.

Example one
As shown in fig. 1, the present invention provides a parking brake-based vehicle emergency brake control system, including: the brake system comprises a service brake air cylinder 1, a main brake valve 2, an ABS (anti-lock brake system) electromagnetic valve 3, a two-way one-way valve 4, a parking brake air cylinder 5, a hand brake valve 6, a relay valve 7, a pressure reducing valve 8, a proportional relay valve 9, a front axle brake air chamber 10 and a rear axle brake air chamber 11, wherein the air outlet end of the service brake air cylinder 1 is connected with the air inlet end of the brake assembly 2, the air outlet end of the main brake valve 2 is connected with the air inlet end of the ABS electromagnetic valve 3, the air outlet end of the ABS electromagnetic valve 3 is connected with the first air inlet end of the two-way one-way valve 4, and the air outlet end of the two-way one-way valve 4 is connected with the air inlet of the front axle brake air chamber 10; the air outlet end of the parking braking air cylinder 5 is connected with the air inlet end of a pressure reducing valve 8, the air outlet end of the pressure reducing valve 8 is respectively connected with the air inlet ends of a manual braking valve 6, a relay valve 7 and a proportional relay valve 9, one path of the air outlet end of the manual braking valve 6 is connected with the control end of the relay valve 7, the air outlet end of the relay valve 7 is connected with the air inlet end of a rear axle braking air chamber 11, the other path of the air outlet end of the manual braking valve 6 is connected with the control end of the proportional relay valve 9, and the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve 9 is connected with the second air inlet end of a two-way check valve 4.
Specifically, the service brake control performs brake control on the front axle brake chamber 10 through the first air inlet port of the two-way check valve 4.
Specifically, the implementation of the braking control on the front axle brake air chamber 10 by the service braking control through the first air inlet end of the two-way check valve 4 specifically comprises the following steps: when a driver steps on a brake pedal, compressed air flows to the air inlet end of the ABS electromagnetic valve 3 through the air outlet end of the master brake valve 2, flows to the first air inlet end of the two-way one-way valve 4 through the air outlet end of the ABS electromagnetic valve 3, then flows to the air inlet end of the front axle brake air chamber 10 through the air outlet end of the two-way one-way valve 4, and controls the front axle brake air chamber 10 to implement brake control.
Further, the parking brake control performs brake control on the front axle brake air chamber 10 and the rear axle brake air chamber 11 jointly through the second air inlet end of the two-way check valve 4 and the relay valve.
Specifically, the parking brake control of the front axle brake air chamber 10 and the brake control of the relay valve 7 on the rear axle brake air chamber 11 through the second air inlet end of the two-way check valve 4 are specifically as follows:
when a driver pulls up a control handle of the hand brake valve 6, compressed air flows to the control end of the relay valve 7 through one path of the air outlet end of the hand brake valve 6, and compressed air in the parking brake air cylinder 5 flows to the air inlet end (parking port) of the rear axle brake air chamber 11 through the air outlet end of the relay valve 7 to control the rear axle brake air chamber 11 to release rear axle parking brake; compressed air flows to the control end of the proportional relay valve 9 through the other path of the air outlet end of the manual brake valve 6, and compressed air in a pipeline between the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve 9 and the air inlet end of the front axle brake air chamber 10 is discharged from the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve 9 to control the front axle brake air chamber 10 to release front axle parking brake;
when a driver pulls down a control handle of the hand brake valve 6, compressed air in a pipeline between the air outlet end of the hand brake valve 6 and the control end of the relay valve 7 is discharged through the air outlet end of the hand brake valve 6, compressed air between the relay valve 7 and the rear axle brake air chamber 11 is discharged through the air outlet end of the relay valve 7, and the rear axle brake air chamber 11 is controlled to implement rear axle parking brake; meanwhile, compressed air in a pipeline between the air outlet end of the manual brake valve 6 and the control end of the proportional relay valve 9 is exhausted through the air outlet end of the manual brake valve 6, the compressed air in the parking air cylinder 5 flows to the second air inlet end of the two-way check valve 4 through the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve 9, then the compressed air flows to the air inlet end of the front axle brake air chamber 10 through the air outlet end of the two-way check valve 4, and the front axle brake air chamber 10 is controlled to implement front axle parking brake. The emergency braking of the vehicle is implemented by the rear axle brake air chamber 11 and the front axle brake air chamber 10 together, so that the emergency braking efficiency is increased, and the requirement of national standards on the emergency braking efficiency of the vehicle can be met.
Compressed air in the travelling air cylinder 1 and the parking air cylinder 5 comes from an air compressor of a vehicle, and the compressed air generated by the air compressor is dried by an air dryer, subjected to pressure regulation and then conveyed into the air cylinders. When the air compressor inflates the air storage cylinder, and the pressure in the air storage cylinder reaches the working pressure of the air dryer, an unloading valve of the air dryer is opened and unloaded; when the pressure in the air cylinder is lower than the inflation pressure of the air dryer, the unloading valve closes the air compressor to inflate the air cylinder.
Preferably, the front axle brake chamber 10 can be respectively braked by a service brake control and a parking brake control, which are independent of each other and do not interfere with each other.
Because the front axle brake chamber 10 includes the left and right brake chambers, that is, the left and right brake chambers are single-chamber brake chambers, when the service brake is implemented, the output air pressures of the ABS solenoid valves 3 on the left and right sides are different, and therefore, two ABS solenoid valves 3 and two-way check valves 4 need to be provided, so that the braking forces of the left and right brake chambers 10 can be accurately controlled respectively.
The rear axle brake air chamber 11 also comprises a left brake air chamber and a right brake air chamber, namely the left brake air chamber and the right brake air chamber of the rear axle brake air chamber 11 are both double-cavity brake air chambers, so that the air outlet end of the relay valve 7 is respectively connected with the left brake air chamber and the right brake air chamber between the rear axle brake air chamber 11, compressed air between the relay valve 7 and the left brake air chamber and the right brake air chamber is respectively discharged through the air outlet end of the relay valve 7, and the rear axle brake air chamber 11 is controlled to implement rear axle parking brake; compressed air in the parking brake air storage cylinder 5 flows to the air inlet ends in the left brake air chamber and the right brake air chamber in the rear axle brake air chamber 11 through the air outlet end of the relay valve 7 respectively, and controls the rear axle brake air chamber 11 to release parking brake of the rear axle.
As shown in fig. 2, the outlet end pressure (pout) of proportional relay valve 9 decreases as the control end pressure (pcontrol port) increases. Specifically, the pressure at the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve 9 is proportionally reduced along with the proportional increase of the pressure at the control end, namely the characteristic curve of the proportional relay valve is a straight line, the manual brake valve 6 controls the rear axle to implement the parking brake, namely the manual brake valve 6 controls the relay valve 7 (rear axle relay valve) to stop air supply, so that the compressed air in the spring cavity in the rear axle brake air chamber 11 is exhausted through the relay valve 7, and the spring force acts on the brake to generate the parking brake force.
The manual brake valve 6 controls the front axle brake chamber to apply parking brake, that is, the manual brake valve 6 controls the proportional relay valve 9 to output compressed air to the front axle brake chamber 10 (left and right brake chambers in the front axle brake chamber 10) respectively, so that the brake generates parking brake force. These two kinds of parking braking forces (braking by the front axle brake chamber and braking by the rear axle brake chamber) are applied simultaneously, so the output pressure of the proportional relay valve 9 decreases as the control end pressure increases (or the output pressure increases as the control end pressure decreases).
The invention does not need to change the axle load distribution of the vehicle or change the type of the front axle brake chamber, only controls the service brake chamber of the front axle (front axle) to brake by parking brake, increases the emergency braking efficiency of the vehicle, is easy to realize and has low cost, and effectively solves the problem of low emergency braking efficiency of the vehicle caused by the prior art.
According to the technical scheme, the service brake control implements brake control on the front axle brake chamber through the first air inlet end of the two-way check valve, and the parking brake control implements brake control on the front axle brake chamber and the rear axle brake chamber through the second air inlet end of the two-way check valve, namely, the two-way check valve is shared by the service brake control and the parking brake control aiming at the front axle brake chamber, so that the utilization rate of equipment is increased.
In the technical scheme of the invention, the pressure at the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve is proportionally reduced along with the proportional increase of the pressure at the control end, so that the emergency braking efficiency of the vehicle is further increased.
Example two
As shown in fig. 3, the technical solution of the present invention further provides a parking brake-based vehicle emergency brake control method, which is implemented based on a parking brake-based vehicle emergency brake control system in the first embodiment, and includes:
s1, performing braking control on the front axle brake chamber through the first air inlet end of the two-way check valve in service braking control;
and S2, the parking brake control jointly controls the front axle brake air chamber and the rear axle brake air chamber through the second air inlet end of the two-way check valve and the relay valve.
In step S1, the application of the service braking control to the front axle brake chamber through the first air inlet end of the two-way check valve specifically includes:
when a driver steps on a brake pedal, compressed air flows to the air inlet end of the ABS electromagnetic valve through the air outlet end of the brake master valve, flows to the first air inlet end of the two-way one-way valve through the air outlet end of the ABS electromagnetic valve, then flows to the air inlet end of the front axle brake air chamber through the air outlet end of the two-way one-way valve, and controls the front axle brake air chamber to implement brake control.
In step S2, the parking brake control includes the following specific steps that the second air inlet end of the two-way check valve is used for respectively controlling the front axle brake chamber and the rear axle brake chamber by the relay valve:
when a driver pulls up a control handle of the hand brake valve, one path of compressed air flows to the control end of the relay valve through the air outlet end of the hand brake valve, and the compressed air in the parking brake air storage cylinder flows to the air inlet end of the rear axle brake air chamber through the air outlet end of the relay valve to control the rear axle brake air chamber to release the parking brake of the rear axle; compressed air flows to the control end of the proportional relay valve through the other path of the air outlet end of the manual brake valve, and the compressed air in a pipeline between the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve and the air inlet end of the front axle brake air chamber is discharged from the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve to control the front axle brake air chamber to release parking brake of the front axle;
when a driver pulls down a control handle of the hand brake valve, compressed air in a pipeline between an air outlet end of the hand brake valve and a control end of the relay valve is discharged through the air outlet end of the hand brake valve, and compressed air between the relay valve and the rear axle brake air chamber is discharged through the air outlet end of the relay valve, so that the rear axle brake air chamber is controlled to implement rear axle parking brake; meanwhile, compressed air in a pipeline between the air outlet end of the hand brake valve and the control end of the proportional relay valve is discharged through the air outlet end of the hand brake valve, the compressed air in the parking air storage cylinder flows to the second air inlet end of the two-way one-way valve through the air outlet end of the proportional relay valve, and then the compressed air flows to the air inlet end of the front axle brake air chamber through the air outlet end of the two-way one-way valve to control the front axle brake air chamber to implement front axle parking brake.
