The rubber bag forming is a soft mould forming method which uses the rubber bag as an elastic loading carrier and uses liquid as a pressure transmission medium to form a metal plate along with a rigid mould.
The rubber bag is mainly applied to flanging and forming of plate frame parts. In order to protect the rubber bag during forming, an elastic pad, generally made of polyurethane or natural rubber, needs to be added between the flanging part and the bag, so that the elastic pad is compressed to absorb partial strain energy during forming, the forming force of the part is insufficient, and the rebound phenomenon is serious. Meanwhile, the elastic cushion is not uniformly deformed when being compressed, so that the pressure applied to different parts of the plate by the elastic cushion is inconsistent, the local bulge of the plate is easily caused, and the flatness is influenced.
