Description

Antenna, arrangement structure of metallic indication member, and electronic timepiece
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an electronic timepiece and an arrangement structure of an antenna and a metallic indicating member in the electronic timepiece.
Background
For example, an electronic timepiece including an antenna for receiving a standard radio wave including time information is known. As an antenna incorporated in a timepiece, an antenna is used in which an insulated metal wire is wound around an amorphous or ferrite core to form a coil (a winding formed by the wire).
Further, there has been proposed an antenna in which a metal receiving plate (lead plate) disposed at an offset position in the thickness direction of the timepiece is connected to inner cores protruding from both ends of a coil (see, for example, patent document 1). The antenna connected with the receiving guide plate can arrange the receiving guide plate in a different plane from the inner core. Therefore, the installation space in the same plane as the coil can be reduced, and the reduction of the receiving sensitivity caused by setting the inner core short can be prevented or restrained.

Disclosure of Invention
(problems to be solved by the invention)
However, when the antenna is covered with metal, the reception sensitivity of radio waves is lowered. In the timepiece, since a case (case) including a back cover is mostly made of metal, the back cover side is covered with metal, but the dial side is not covered with metal, and thus radio waves are received on the dial side.
However, a metal indicator wheel (indicator wheel) is sometimes disposed on the dial side, and the metal indicator wheel is disposed so as not to cover the antenna in a plan view from the dial side.
Among them, in an electronic timepiece having a small size such as a female timepiece, since a space for disposing components is small compared to a male timepiece, there is a case where a metal indicator wheel must be disposed so as to cover a part of an antenna.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide an electronic timepiece and an arrangement structure of an antenna and a metallic indicating member, which can suppress a decrease in the reception sensitivity of the antenna in an arrangement structure in which a metallic indicating member covers a part of the antenna.
(measures taken to solve the problems)
An electronic timepiece according to a first aspect of the present invention includes: an antenna that receives radio waves by winding a coil around an inner core; and a metallic indication member, wherein the antenna includes a magnetism collecting portion having a core end portion of the core protruding from an end of the coil to an outside of the coil or a receiving guide plate functioning as a member extending from the core end portion together with the core end portion, and the indication member is disposed so as to overlap a part of the antenna and not overlap a part of the magnetism collecting portion linearly protruding from at least one end of the coil in a plan view.
An electronic timepiece according to a second aspect of the present invention includes: the present invention relates to an arrangement structure of an antenna and a metallic indication member in an electronic timepiece.
(Effect of the invention)
According to the configuration of the antenna and the metallic indicator in the electronic timepiece and the electronic timepiece of the present invention, in the electronic timepiece in which the metallic indicator covers a part of the antenna, it is possible to suppress a decrease in the reception sensitivity of the antenna.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, an electronic timepiece and an embodiment of an arrangement structure of an antenna and a metallic indicating member in the electronic timepiece according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 is a plan view showing an embodiment of an electronic timepiece 100, fig. 2 is a plan view showing an arrangement of an antenna 20 in a movement 1 of the electronic timepiece 100 shown in fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a plan view showing an arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and a metallic indicator wheel 30 in the movement 1 shown in fig. 2.
The illustrated electronic timepiece 100 is an embodiment of the electronic timepiece of the invention. The arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and the metallic indicating wheel 30 in the movement 1 of the electronic timepiece 100 is an embodiment of the arrangement structure of the antenna and the metallic indicating member in the electronic timepiece of the present invention.
Inside a case 91 of an electronic timepiece 100, there are provided a movement 1, a dial 92, an indicator wheel 30, an antenna 20, and hands such as an hour hand 93, a minute hand 94, and a second hand 95. The hands are driven by a stepping motor provided in the movement 1, and indicate time by pointing to a time mark (hour mark) or the like indicated on the dial 92.
The dial 92 is formed of resin into a disc shape. Therefore, the dial 92 can pass radio waves. A substantially fan-shaped opening 92a having an arc concentric with an arc that is the outer peripheral edge of the dial 92 is formed at the 6 o' clock position of the dial 92.
The indicator wheel 30 is made of metal such as aluminum or aluminum alloy, and is formed in a disc shape. In the indicator wheel 30, a crescent pattern representing night time and a sun pattern representing day time show diagonal regions (regions 180[ degrees ] apart from each other) in the surface of the circular plate sandwiching the center of the circular plate. In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the indicator wheel 30 is disposed at the 6 o' clock position.
The indicator wheel 30 is disposed on the back side of the dial 92 such that the arc of the fan-shaped outer periphery of the opening 92a of the dial 92 and the arc of the circular plate are concentric circles. The indicator wheel 30 rotates once with the center of the circular plate as the rotation center and with a cycle of 24 hours.
As a result, as shown in fig. 1, a part of the circular plate of the indicator wheel 30 can be visually confirmed from the front side of the electronic timepiece 100 through the opening 92a, and specifically: the sun figure is visually confirmed through the opening 92a in a time zone corresponding to the day, and the crescent figure is visually confirmed through the opening 92a in a time zone corresponding to the night. Thus, the indication of the indicating wheel 30 is visually confirmed through the opening 92a, whereby whether it is day or night can be confirmed at a glance.
The electronic timepiece 100 includes a stem 96 extending from the movement 1 to the outside of the case 91, and a crown 97 for rotating the stem around an axis is fixed to a front end of the stem 96. Calibration of the hands is performed by rotation of the hands by rotation of the stem 96 about the shaft. The stem 96 of the electronic timepiece 100 of the present embodiment is provided at the 3 o' clock position of the dial 92.
The antenna 20 is used to receive a standard radio wave including time information, and the electronic timepiece 100 automatically adjusts the position of the pointer based on the standard radio wave received by the antenna 20.
As shown in fig. 2, the antenna 20 has a structure including an inner core 22, a coil 21, connection blocks 23a and 23b, and receiving guide plates 24a and 24 b. The antenna 20 is arranged such that the center of the coil 21 is located at the 7 o' clock half of the dial 92.
The inner core 22 is formed of, for example, ferrite. The core 22 is formed integrally with a core portion 22c around which an electric wire is wound as the coil 21, and end portions 22a and 22b (core end portions) connected to the core portion 22c and protruding outward from both end portions 21a and 21b of the coil 21. The core 22c and the end portions 22a, 22b are formed linearly. The wire is not wound around the ends 22a, 22 b. The end 22a protruding from one end of the coil 21 and the end 22b protruding from the other end of the coil 21 are set to have the same length in the longitudinal direction of the core 22 c.
A rectangular parallelepiped connecting block 23a made of ferrite and having a predetermined thickness is connected to an extension portion of the end portion 22a linearly protruding from the coil 21, that is, a portion of an extension line L of the linear core portion 22c (for example, approximately 9 o' clock position of the dial 92).
Similarly, a rectangular parallelepiped connecting block 23b made of ferrite and having a predetermined thickness is connected to an extension portion of the end portion 22b linearly protruding from the coil 21, that is, a portion of the extension line L of the linear core portion 22c (for example, approximately 6 o' clock position of the dial 92).
The two joint blocks 23a and 23b are formed to have the same thickness, but may be formed to have different thicknesses.
The receiving guides 24a, 24b are respectively flat plates formed in an arc shape, and are each formed of an amorphous material (magnetic material). The arcs of the receiving guides 24a, 24b are arcs concentric with the arc of the outer periphery of the dial 92.
The receiving guide 24a is connected to a surface (surface on the opposite side in the thickness direction) of the rectangular parallelepiped connecting block 23a on the opposite side to the surface to which the end portion 22a is connected. Thus, the end 22a of the core 22 and the receiving guide 24a are disposed so as to be offset by the thickness of the connection block 23a in the thickness direction of the electronic timepiece 100, thereby preventing an increase in the area occupied by the antenna 20 in the same plane and improving the degree of freedom in the arrangement of the antenna 20.
Similarly, the receiving guide 24b is connected to a surface (a surface on the opposite side in the thickness direction) of the rectangular parallelepiped connecting block 23b on the opposite side to the surface to which the end portion 22b is connected. Thus, the end 22b of the core 22 and the receiving guide 24b are arranged offset by the thickness of the connecting block 23b in the thickness direction of the electronic timepiece 100, thereby preventing an increase in the area occupied by the antenna 20 in the same plane and improving the degree of freedom in the arrangement of the antenna 20.
The end portions 22a, 22b, the connection blocks 23a, 23b, and the reception guides 24a, 24b of the core 22 are provided to improve the reception sensitivity of the standard radio wave, and these end portions 22a, 22b, the connection blocks 23a, 23b, and the reception guides 24a, 24b constitute magnetism collecting portions 25a, 25b for collecting the radio wave. In this way, the receiving guides 24a and 24b extend the end portions 22a and 22b of the core 22, respectively, and function as the antenna 20.
In the present embodiment, the receiving guide 24a is set to be longer than the receiving guide 24 b. Therefore, the magnetism collecting portion 25a constituted by the end 22a of the core 22, the link block 23a, and the receiving guide 24a is longer than the magnetism collecting portion 25b constituted by the end 22b of the core 22, the link block 23b, and the receiving guide 24 b.
As shown in fig. 3, the antenna 20 configured as described above is disposed on the back side of the dial 92 and the indicator wheel 30. In a plan view seen from the thickness direction of the electronic timepiece 100, only a part of the coil 21 of the antenna 20 on the side close to the 6 o' clock position of the dial 92 overlaps the indicator wheel 30.
Further, although a part of the antenna 20 overlaps the indicator wheel 30 in a plan view seen from the thickness direction of the electronic timepiece 100, the indicator wheel 30 is not overlapped on the portions 26a and 26b of the magnetism collecting portions 25a and 25b that linearly protrude from the coil 21 (the end portions 22a and 22b of the inner core 22, the connecting pieces 23a and 23b, and the portions of the receiving guides 24a and 24b along the extension line L of the core portion 22 c). That is, in the arrangement structure of the antenna and the metallic indication member in the electronic timepiece of the present embodiment, the following arrangement is made in a plan view: the indicator wheel 30 is disposed so as to overlap a part of the antenna 20 and not overlap a part 26b of the magnetic flux collectors 25a and 25b linearly protruding from at least one end of the coil 21.
In the electronic timepiece 100, the back side is covered with a metallic case (back cover) that shields standard radio waves, and the front side is provided with a bezel that transmits standard radio waves and a dial 92 made of resin. Therefore, the antenna 20 of the electronic timepiece 100 receives the standard radio wave incident from the front side of the electronic timepiece 100.
However, it is generally considered that the arrangement in which the metallic member is arranged on the front surface side of the antenna 20 and the metallic member is overlapped on the antenna 20 in a plan view is a cause of lowering the reception sensitivity of the standard radio wave by the antenna 20.
On the other hand, according to the study of the present inventors, it is found that the reception sensitivity is not significantly lowered if the magnetic flux collectors 25a and 25b of the antenna 20 have an arrangement structure in which the portions 26a and 26b linearly protruding from the coil 21 do not overlap with a metal member.
The reason is considered as follows: since the magnetic induction lines distributed outside the coil 21 are gathered at the ends 22a and 22b of the core 22 and returned to the inside of the coil 21, the density of the magnetic induction lines at the antenna 20 is higher than that at other portions, and the portion having a high density of the magnetic induction lines is covered with a metal member, which significantly lowers the reception sensitivity.
Therefore, similarly to the end portions 22a, 22b of the core 22, it is considered that the portions 26a, 26b of the magnetic flux collecting portions 25a, 25b, which are linearly protruded from the coil 21, are covered with the metal member, and the reception sensitivity is greatly lowered.
Further, according to the study of the inventors of the present application, in the antenna in which the lengths of the magnetic collecting portions 25a and the magnetic collecting portions 25b are different from each other, even if the portion 26b linearly protruding from the coil 21 in the short magnetic collecting portion 25b overlaps with the metal member, the reception sensitivity does not significantly decrease if the portion 26a linearly protruding from the coil 21 in the long magnetic collecting portion 25a does not overlap with the metal member.
The reason is considered as follows: the density of the magnetic induction lines of the portion 26a linearly protruding from the coil 21 of the long magnetic collecting portion 25a is higher than the density of the magnetic induction lines of the portion 26b linearly protruding from the coil 21 of the short magnetic collecting portion 25b, and covering the portion having the high density of the magnetic induction lines with a metal member causes a significant decrease in the reception sensitivity.
In contrast, in the arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and the indicator wheel 30 according to the present embodiment, the metal indicator wheel 30 does not overlap the portion 26a of the long magnetism collecting portion 25a that linearly protrudes from the coil 21 in a plan view. Therefore, there is no case where the reception sensitivity of the standard radio wave by the antenna 20 is reduced, or a large reduction in the reception sensitivity can be suppressed. Further, it is preferable that the end portion 21a of the coil connected to the relatively long one of the magnetic collecting portions 25a is arranged so as not to overlap with the metal member, because the decrease in the reception sensitivity is further suppressed.
As described above, even if the antenna 20 and the metallic indicator wheel 30 have to be arranged so as to overlap each other in a plan view due to a small size of the electronic timepiece 100 in a plan view, or the like, the arrangement of the antenna 20 and the metallic indicator wheel 30 in the electronic timepiece 100 and the electronic timepiece 100 according to the present embodiment can prevent or suppress a decrease in the reception sensitivity of the antenna.
Next, another embodiment of an electronic timepiece and another embodiment of an arrangement structure of an antenna and a metallic indicating member in the electronic timepiece of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 4 and 5. Note that description overlapping with the above-described embodiment is omitted. Fig. 4 is a plan view showing another embodiment of the electronic timepiece. Fig. 5 is a plan view showing an arrangement structure of an antenna and a metallic indicating wheel in the movement of the electronic timepiece shown in fig. 4.
As shown in fig. 4, the electronic timepiece 101 includes a movement 2, a dial 92, a dial 30, an antenna 20, an hour hand 93, a minute hand 94, and a second hand 95 inside a case 91. A substantially fan-shaped opening 92a is formed at the 5 o' clock position of the dial 92. As shown in fig. 5, the pointer wheel 30 is disposed at the 5 o' clock position so that a part of the circular plate of the pointer wheel 30 can be visually recognized through the opening 92a from the front surface side of the electronic timepiece 101.
The antenna 20 includes an inner core 22, a coil 21, connection blocks 23a and 23b, and receiving guide plates 24a and 24 b. The ends 22a, 22b of the inner core 22, the connecting blocks 23a, 23b and the receiving guides 24a, 24b constitute magnetic flux collecting portions 25a, 25 b. The receiving guides 24a and 24b extend the ends 22a and 22b of the core 22, respectively, and function as the antenna 20.
The antenna 20 is disposed on the back side of the dial 92 and the indicator wheel 30. As shown in fig. 5, in the present embodiment, the antenna 20 and the indicator wheel 30 are arranged such that a part of the antenna 20 (i.e., the receiving guide 24b of the magnetism collecting portion 25 a) overlaps the indicator wheel 30 arranged at the 5-point position when viewed from above in the thickness direction of the electronic timepiece 101, and both portions 26a and 26b of the magnetism collecting portions 25a and 25b linearly protruding from the coil 21 do not overlap the indicator wheel 30.
That is, in the arrangement structure of the antenna and the metallic indication member in the electronic timepiece of the present embodiment, the following arrangement is made in a plan view: the indicator wheel 30 is disposed so as not to overlap with only a portion 26a of the magnetic flux collectors 25a and 25b, which linearly projects from one end of the coil 21, but also so as not to overlap with a portion 26b of the coil 21, which linearly projects from the other end thereof, while overlapping with a portion of the antenna 20.
As described above, it is generally considered that the arrangement in which the metallic member is arranged on the front surface side of the antenna 20 and the metallic member is overlapped on the antenna 20 in a plan view causes the reception sensitivity of the standard radio wave by the antenna 20 to be lowered.
In contrast, in the arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and the indicator wheel 30 according to the present embodiment, the metallic indicator wheel 30 does not overlap the portions 26a and 26b of the magnetic flux collectors 25a and 25b that linearly protrude from the coil 21 in a plan view. Therefore, according to the electronic timepiece 101 of the present embodiment and the arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and the metallic indicator wheel 30 in the electronic timepiece 101, there is no case where the reception sensitivity of the standard radio wave by the antenna 20 is reduced, or a large reduction in the reception sensitivity can be suppressed.
In the electronic timepieces 100, 101 and the arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and the metal indicating wheel 30 in the electronic timepieces 100, 101 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the antenna 20 is a separate type antenna in which the antenna main body (the coil 21 and the core 22) and the receiving guide plates 24a, 24b are connected by the connection blocks 23a, 23 b.
However, in the electronic timepiece and the arrangement structure of the antenna and the metallic indicating member in the electronic timepiece according to the present invention, the antenna 20 is not limited to the separated structure. That is, in the embodiment of the present invention, the inner core 22 of the antenna body may be extended to be as long as the receiving guides 24a and 24b, and the extended portion of the inner core 22 may function as the receiving guides 24a and 24 b. In this case, the connection blocks 23a and 23b need not be provided.
In this way, even in the antenna 20 in which the antenna main body and the receiving guide plates 24a and 24b are formed as an integral structure, the metallic indicator wheel 30 may be arranged so as not to overlap with both of the portions 26a and 26b of the magnetic collecting portions 25a and 25b that protrude linearly from the coil 21 or the portion 26 that protrudes linearly from the coil 21 in at least one of the long magnetic collecting portions 25a in a plan view, and thus, a decrease in the reception sensitivity of the standard radio wave by the antenna 20 may be prevented or suppressed.
While the configuration of the arrangement of the antenna and the metallic indicating member in the electronic timepiece and the embodiment of the electronic timepiece according to the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various changes and modifications can be made.
The electronic clocks 100 and 101 and the antenna 20 in the arrangement structure of the antenna 20 and the metallic indicator wheel 30 according to the embodiment of the present invention are used for receiving the standard radio wave, but the antenna in the arrangement structure of the electronic clock and the antenna and the metallic indicator member according to the present invention is not limited to receiving the standard radio wave, and may receive other radio waves.
Further, although the electronic clocks 100 and 101, the antenna 20, and the indicator wheel 30 in the arrangement structure of the indicator wheel 30 made of metal according to the embodiment of the present invention are members for visually confirming whether the electronic clock is day or night, the electronic clock, and the indicator wheel 30 in the arrangement structure of the antenna and the indicator wheel made of metal according to the present invention are not limited to members for visually confirming whether the electronic clock is day or night, and may be members for displaying the age of the month by displaying a figure corresponding to the lack of the moon, or members for displaying the date or the week.
Further, although the indicator wheel 30 in the arrangement structure of the electronic clocks 100 and 101, the antenna 20, and the metallic indicator wheel 30 according to the embodiment of the present invention indicates a specific item by a rotational operation, the indicator wheel in the arrangement structure of the electronic clocks, the antenna, and the metallic indicator member according to the present invention may not be a rotational indicator wheel, but may indicate a specific item without moving.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the end portion 22a of the core 22, the connecting piece 23a, and the receiving guide 24a constitute the magnetism collecting portion 25a, and the end portion 22b of the core 22, the connecting piece 23b, and the receiving guide 24b constitute the magnetism collecting portion 25b, but the connecting pieces 23a, 23b and the receiving guides 24a, 24b are not provided, and the magnetism collecting portion 25a is constituted only by the end portion 22a of the core 22, and the magnetism collecting portion 25b is constituted only by the end portion 22b of the core 22. In the embodiment of the present invention, the magnetic collecting portions 25a and 25b are formed to have different lengths, but may be formed to have the same length.
The electronic timepiece 100, the antenna 20, and the metallic indicator wheel 30 according to the embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 3 are arranged such that the indicator wheel 30 does not overlap with the portion 26a linearly protruding from the coil 21 in the long magnetic flux collecting portion 25a, among the portions 26a and 26b linearly protruding from both ends of the coil 21 in a plan view, and the arrangement structure does not include an arrangement in which both the portions 26a and 26b linearly protruding from the coil 21 overlap with the indicator wheel 30 in a plan view.
However, when the inner core 22 does not protrude from both ends of the coil 21, the inner core 22 protrudes only from one end of the coil 21, and the inner core 22 does not protrude from the other end of the coil 21, the configuration of the antenna and the metallic indicating member included in the electronic timepiece and the electronic timepiece of the present invention is configured so long as the indicating wheel 30 does not overlap with the end of the inner core 22 protruding from the coil 21 in a plan view.
In addition, the electronic timepiece 101, the antenna 20, and the metallic indicator wheel 30 according to the other embodiment shown in fig. 4 and 5 are arranged such that the portions 26a and 26b of the magnetic collectors 25a and 25b, which linearly protrude from the coil 21, do not overlap with the indicator wheel 30 in a plan view. In addition, when the inner core 22 does not protrude from both ends of the coil 21, but the inner core 22 protrudes from only one end of the coil 21, and the inner core 22 does not protrude from the other end of the coil 21, the arrangement structure in which the indicator wheel 30 does not overlap with the portion of the magnetism collecting portion protruding linearly from the coil 21 on the side protruding from the coil 21 in a plan view includes the arrangement structure of the antenna and the metallic indicator member in the electronic timepiece and the electronic timepiece of the present invention.
