Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of powder coating additives, in particular to a flatting assistant for a beta-Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) powder coating.
Background
The powder coating is 100 percent of powder coating without organic solvent, and has the characteristics of environmental protection, high utilization rate (up to 99 percent), high coating efficiency and the like. For the coating industry, the state clearly indicates that environmentally friendly (low VOC) coatings are a significant benefit for powder coatings as an industry of encouraging development. With the policy of changing paint powder released by the state, the share of the powder coating in the coating industry is not only enlarged, but also downstream use enterprises are more and more favored to green and environment-friendly powder materials.
Powder coatings are divided into indoor and outdoor powder coatings, the indoor powder coatings are divided into polyester/epoxy and pure epoxy types, and the outdoor powder coatings are divided into polyester/TGIC, beta-hydroxyalkylamide systems (HAA). At present, the outdoor powder coating mainly uses polyester/TGIC and beta-hydroxyalkylamide system (HAA), like the beta-hydroxyalkylamide system (HAA) in Japan and Europe, and the polyester/TGIC is still used in large quantities in China, America, India and other countries. The use of TGIC is also increasingly restricted domestically. TGIC (isocyanurate) has been shown in experiments to be slightly toxic, may cause allergy when in contact with skin, and is seriously harmful to health when swallowed or in long-term contact. Moreover, TGIC is not stable and is supplied by raw materials and processes. beta-Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) is currently the most mature curing agent for outdoor powder coatings, except TGIC, and it is stable in supply, non-toxic, and non-hazardous to humans.
However, β -Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) powder coatings also suffer from the following drawbacks: 1. the coating cannot be thick coated, and pinholes are easy to generate if the coating is thick; 2. the paint is not high temperature resistant and is easy to yellow; 3. suitable matting aids are not available when made into matte or matte powders. At present, the problems of incapability of thick coating and low high temperature resistance and easy yellowing are gradually solved by improving the process. However, the matting of the β -Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) systems can only be achieved by blending (or dry blending) polyesters of high and low acid number, the gloss is generally only up to a minimum of 30 degrees, and the surface of the applied paint is relatively rough. With the improvement of the aesthetic quality of people, the demand of matte and dull powder is increasing, so that a better-quality beta-Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) system powder coating matting assistant is urgently needed.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention aims to provide a matting assistant for a beta-hydroxyalkylamide powder coating to fill the gap in the aspect of the prior art, can adjust the glossiness of the coating from 3-60 degrees, and solves the problems of poor matting effect and rough surface after coating of the prior beta-Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) system powder coating.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:
a matting assistant for beta-hydroxyalkylamide powder paint contains acrylic resin, dodecanedioic acid, pyromellitic acid, synthetic wax and promoter.
Preferably, the acrylic resin accounts for 70-90% of the total amount of the additive, the dodecanedioic acid accounts for 5-20% of the total amount of the additive, the pyromellitic acid accounts for 3-15% of the total amount of the additive, the synthetic wax accounts for 5-15% of the total amount of the additive, and the accelerator accounts for 0.5-5% of the total amount of the additive.
Preferably, the acrylic resin includes epoxy acrylic resin and carboxyl acrylic resin.
Preferably, the epoxy acrylic resin is a copolymer of glycidyl methacrylate and one or more methacrylate monomers except Glycidyl Methacrylate (GMA), the GMA is a widely used acrylate resin and can endow the acrylate resin with reactive epoxy groups, and the epoxy equivalent of the epoxy acrylic resin is 600-1400, and the optimal range is 600-1000.
Preferably, the carboxyl acrylic resin is methacrylic acid or a copolymer of acrylic acid and other methacrylate monomers, and the resin acid value of the carboxyl acrylic resin is 50-260.
Preferably, the epoxy acrylic resin accounts for 30-70% of the total resin; the carboxyl acrylic resin accounts for 20-60% of the total resin.
Preferably, the accelerator is a compound that can accelerate the crosslinking reaction of carboxyl groups and epoxy groups.
Preferably, the accelerator comprises 2-mercaptobenzothiazole zinc, dimethyl imidazole, diphenyl imidazole line and ammonium bromide.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
the extinction auxiliary agent for the beta-hydroxyalkylamide powder coating fills the blank that no special extinction auxiliary agent exists in the field of the existing beta-Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) powder coating, can adjust the glossiness of the coating from 3-60 degrees, and solves the problems of poor extinction effect and rough surface after coating of the existing beta-Hydroxyalkylamide (HAA) powder coating.
Extinction principle: the complex reaction system is utilized to make microscopic unevenness on the surface of the coating film so as to achieve the light extinction effect. Such as: 1. the epoxy acrylic resin reacts with the carboxyl acrylic resin and also reacts with the unsaturated polyester; 2. the beta-hydroxyalkylamide reacts with the unsaturated polyester and also with the carboxy acrylic resin. The addition of the accelerator can promote the uneven speed of the coating in the reaction shrinkage process to cause microscopic unevenness on the surface of the coating, thereby realizing the extinction.
