Description

Pavement repair material and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of pavement repair engineering, in particular to a pavement repair material and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The road is a very important traffic tie in the current society and is related to the daily travel of people. With the rapid increase of traffic volume, the large-scale and heavy-load of vehicles and the influence of extreme climate, the pavement inevitably has the phenomena of early damage such as cracks, loose surfaces, pits and the like with different degrees, the service performance of the pavement is reduced, and the safety and the durability of a concrete structure are seriously influenced. In order to maintain good service performance of the road surface and prolong the service life, the road surface should be repaired in time at the initial stage of the damage phenomenon of the road surface. The cement mortar is prepared from cement and fine aggregate, and is widely applied to pavement repair engineering due to the advantages of convenient material acquisition, moisture resistance, good comprehensive performance and the like. However, the consistency and wear resistance of cement mortar are poor, so that the common cement mortar used as a repairing material of a pavement has the defects of poor strength, durability and wear resistance.
The iron tailings are ore waste residues left after useful components are extracted from iron ores, and account for about one third of the total amount of the tailings. With the improvement of the mineral separation technology, the iron ore is ground to be finer and finer, so that the tailings are also finer and finer, and can not be used as fine aggregates. A large amount of iron tailings are formed in each year mining activities in China, the large amount of stockpiling of the iron tailings not only seriously damages the ecological environment, but also has higher potential safety hazard, and the comprehensive utilization of the iron tailings is mainly encouraged and supported by national policies all the time. The chemical components of the iron tailings mainly contain SiO 2 、Al 2 O 3 、CaO、Fe 2 O 3 MgO, etc. and a small amount of K 2 O、Na 2 5363 and O, S, P, and the common iron tailings do not have any gelling property and can not replace hydraulic lime and cement in the repair mortar.

According to the scheme shown in the embodiment of the invention, the iron tailing powder is fine and can be filled in gaps between cement clinker and sand, so that the structure of the pavement repair material is more compact, and the iron phase of the iron tailing powder is high, and the iron tailing powder can be doped into cement mortar, so that the wear resistance of the pavement repair material can be obviously enhanced; the dihydrate gypsum can be adsorbed on the surface of the iron tailing powder, an adsorption film is formed on the surface of the dihydrate gypsum, the van der Waals attraction and the electrostatic force among the iron tailing powder are weakened, the surface energy of the iron tailing powder is reduced, the reaction activity of the iron tailing powder is improved, the activated iron tailing powder can promote the early hydration of cement, and the compression resistance and the fracture resistance of the pavement repairing material are improved; according to the invention, by reasonably limiting the mass ratio of the iron tailing powder, the cement clinker, the sand, the water and the dihydrate gypsum powder, the cement can be replaced for roadside restoration, the use amount of the cement is reduced, the cement has good strength, durability and wear resistance, the secondary utilization of the iron tailings is realized, the harm of the iron tailings to the environment is reduced, and the defects of the prior art are overcome.
In combination with the first aspect, the iron tailings powder contains 20wt% to 25wt% of zeolite.
The higher the content of zeolite in the iron tailing powder is, the better the activity of the crushed iron tailings is.
In combination with the first aspect, the iron tailing powder also contains 20 to 25 weight percent of quartz, 15 to 20 weight percent of amphibole and 25 to 30 weight percent of chlorite.
In combination with the first aspect, the cement clinker is high alumina cement.
The high-alumina cement is a fast-hardening, high-strength and corrosion-resistant cementing material, and can increase the early strength of the cement mortar and enhance the corrosion resistance of the mortar.
In combination with the first aspect, the dihydrate gypsum powder has a specific surface area of 220 to 270m 2 /kg。
The grinding effect of the iron tailing powder can be improved by controlling the surface area of the dihydrate gypsum powder.
The second aspect of the present invention provides a preparation method of the above pavement repair material, which at least comprises the following steps:
drying and calcining iron tailing powder to obtain primary iron tailing powder;
uniformly mixing the primary iron tailing powder and dihydrate gypsum powder, and grinding to obtain a powder mixture;
and uniformly stirring the powder mixture with cement clinker, sand and water to obtain the pavement repairing material.
The preparation method of the pavement repairing material provided by the invention is simple, has strong operability and practicability, does not use and generate substances harmful to the environment in the process of treating the iron tailing powder, and meets the requirements of environmental protection.
With reference to the second aspect, the drying temperature is 100-105 ℃, and the drying time is 10-12 h.
With reference to the second aspect, the calcination temperature is 500-550 ℃ and the calcination time is 1.5-2 h.
In combination with the second aspect, the temperature increase rate from the drying step to the calcining step is 10 to 15 ℃/min.
By controlling the heating rate, the iron tailing powder with the best activation effect can be obtained, and the too fast heating rate from the drying process to the calcining process can cause insufficient activation and the too slow heating rate can cause energy waste.
With reference to the second aspect, the grinding is carried out on a test mill, the rotation speed of the test mill is 45-55 r/min, and the grinding time is 90-120 min.
The iron tailing powder with the highest activity can be obtained by controlling the rotating speed and the grinding time; the iron tailing powder cannot be fully ground when the grinding time is too short, and the internal cracks of the iron tailing powder particles begin to generate the phenomena of compaction and welding when the grinding time is too long, so that the specific surface area of the iron tailing powder is reduced, and further the reaction activity is reduced. After grinding to obtainThe density of the activated iron tailing micro powder is 2.75g/cm 3 The specific surface area is 770m 2 Per kg, the mean particle diameter D50 was 3.2. Mu.m. The particle shape of the ground powder mixture tends to be spherical and the edge is smooth, so that the water requirement of the cement paste is reduced, the water retention property and the uniformity are enhanced, and the workability and the mechanical property of the concrete are improved.
