The invention provides a high-temperature deep well logging-while-drilling drill collar containing a phase change material, which comprises a logging instrument main body and a phase change logging instrument protection device, wherein the phase change logging instrument protection device is sleeved outside the logging instrument main body and is matched with the logging instrument main body. The invention is mainly characterized in that the local normal temperature environment of the internal logging instrument is kept for a long time under the high temperature environment, the logging instrument unit is protected from the high temperature environment, the quick connection, the disassembly and the assembly can be realized, the use efficiency is improved, the whole equipment can be recycled, and the like.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of logging while drilling equipment, and relates to a high-temperature deep well logging while drilling drill collar containing a phase-change material and a use method thereof.
Background
Logging while drilling can measure stratum information in real time while drilling a bottom layer, and downhole instrument units for logging while drilling are all arranged in a drill collar and can measure parameters such as well deviation, well deviation azimuth, downhole torque, drill bit bearing, natural gamma, resistivity and the like. However, in the drilling and measuring process of deep wells and ultra-deep wells (3000 m-6000 m), the downhole instrument units for logging while drilling are easily affected by the downhole high-temperature environment due to the fact that the downhole temperature increases (about 0.03 ℃/m) along with the increase of drilling depth, so that the service efficiency and service life of the downhole instrument are seriously affected.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the problems, the invention provides a high-temperature deep well logging-while-drilling drill collar containing a phase-change material and a use method thereof, which are used for logging while drilling, are suitable for high-temperature environments encountered in the deep well and ultra-deep well logging process, and can effectively protect downhole instrument units of logging while drilling.

Preferably, the phase change material has a phase change temperature of 50-70 ℃ and a latent heat of phase change of 160-190 kJ/kg.

Preferably, the method further comprises the step of cryogenically cooling the used phase-change logging instrument protection device.
More preferably, the number of phase change logging instrument protection devices for replacement is 2-4 sets.

as shown in fig. 1, the outside of the phase-change logging instrument protection device 100 is a shell 107, the shell 107 is made of metal, an internal thread 101 connected with the logging instrument main body 200 is arranged at the top of the shell 107, a corrugated pipe cavity 105 for containing the phase-change material is arranged inside the shell 107, the inner side of the corrugated pipe cavity 105 is provided with a straight pipe wall 104, the outer side of the corrugated pipe cavity is provided with a corrugated pipe wall 103, the corrugated pipe wall 103 on the outer side can absorb the expansion volume when the phase-change material is changed from solid to liquid, the straight pipe wall 104 on the inner side can isolate the phase-change material inside the corrugated pipe cavity 105 from the underground instrument unit 203 inside the corrugated pipe, and the straight pipe wall 104 is made of metal. An annulus 106 exists between the bellows wall 103 and the housing 107, the volume of the annulus 106 being approximately 15% to 20% of the bellows cavity 105, providing a volume expansion space for the phase change material. The bottom of the housing 107 is provided with a clamping groove (conventional structure in the art, not shown), the clamping groove is embedded with a sealing ring 108, and the sealing ring 108 is preferably a double-layer O-shaped sealing ring, as shown in fig. 4, the O-shaped sealing ring is embedded in the clamping groove at the lower part of the housing 107 and can be matched with the lower step of the logging instrument main body 200 to realize sealing, so that external drilling fluid is isolated outside the drill collar. The top of the shell 107 is provided with a PCM injection hole 102, and phase change material is injected into the corrugated pipe cavity 105 from the PCM injection hole 102, wherein the phase change temperature of the phase change material is about 50-70 ℃, and the phase change latent heat is about 160-190 kJ/kg. The PCM injection holes 102 are provided in two, symmetrically disposed at both sides of the center line of the case 107.
As shown in fig. 2, the logging tool body 200 is provided with a top thread 201, an upper thread 202, a downhole tool unit 203, a lower step 205 and a bottom thread 206 from top to bottom, and a cable channel 204 is also provided in the center. The top thread 201 is connected with the upper drill pipe, the upper thread 202 is connected with the internal thread 101 at the top of the casing of the phase change logging instrument protection device 100, the lower step 205 is connected with the bottom of the phase change logging instrument protection device 100 in a sealing way through the sealing ring 108 to realize the isolation of external drilling fluid, and the bottom thread 206 is connected with the lower drill pipe.
As shown in fig. 5, when the high temperature deep well logging while drilling drill collar containing the phase change material is used, the cooled phase change logging tool protection device 100 is first sleeved on the logging tool main body 200 from top to bottom, upper connection is achieved through the upper threads 202, lower connection is achieved through the sealing ring 108 and the lower step 205, the phase change logging tool whole 300 is then connected with the lower drill rod, the phase change logging tool whole 300 is then connected with the upper drill rod after being lowered, the upper drill rod is firstly disconnected with the phase change logging tool whole 300 after logging is completed, the phase change logging tool whole 300 is then disconnected with the lower drill rod, finally the phase change logging tool protection device 100 is disconnected with the logging tool main body 200, and the phase change logging tool protection device 100 is replaced with the cooled phase change logging tool protection device 100 for subsequent use. The phase change tool protection device 100 that has been used is cryogenically cooled. The present invention requires 2-4 sets of phase change logging instrument protection devices 100 for replacement, increasing logging equipment efficiency.
The invention provides a high-temperature deep well logging-while-drilling drill collar containing a phase-change material, which comprises a phase-change logging instrument protection device and a logging instrument which is matched with the phase-change logging instrument protection device, and is more suitable for a downhole high-temperature environment by mainly utilizing the characteristic that a large amount of latent heat of fusion is absorbed in the melting process of the phase-change material and the temperature is unchanged. The invention is mainly characterized in that the local normal temperature environment of the internal logging instrument is kept for a long time under the high temperature environment, the logging instrument unit is protected from the high temperature environment, the quick connection, disassembly and assembly can be realized, the use efficiency is improved, the whole equipment can be recycled, and the like.
