本公开涉及重传请求方法,包括:确定从发送端接收到的数据是否存在错误;响应于数据存在错误,向发送端发送重传数据的请求。根据本公开的实施例,网络设备可以确定发送端发送的数据是否存在错误,并在数据存在错误的情况下,网络设备可以向数据的发送端发送重传数据的请求,进而使得发送端重传数据。据此,无需数据的接收端,确定数据是否存在错误,也就无需接收端在数据存在错误的情况下,经由网络设备将重传数据的请求发送至发送端,而是可以由网络设备直接将重传数据的请求发送至发送端,在数据存在错误的情况下,可以确保发送终端尽快接收到重传数据的请求,从而尽快将重传的数据发送至接收端。
