Description

Printing consumable communication method, regeneration consumable chip, printing consumable and printing system
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of printing consumables, in particular to a printing consumable communication method, a regeneration consumable chip, a printing consumable and a printing system.
Background
Printing consumables are used with printers, and are usually detachably mounted in printers, such as toner cartridges and ink cartridges. The printing consumables are filled with toner for image formation, for example, the toner cartridge is filled with carbon powder, and the ink cartridge is filled with ink. In order to record the toner remaining amount in the printing supplies and the characteristics of the printing supplies, consumable chips are also provided in the printing supplies. The consumable chip is provided with a memory for recording the toner remaining amount and communicating with the printer. When the toner in the printing supplies is depleted, the printer writes data indicating that the toner remaining amount is empty in the consumable chip, indicating that the life of the printing supplies is over and the printing supplies need to be replaced. The printing consumables with the end of life are generally discarded, consumable chips arranged on the printing consumables can also be discarded, and once the consumable chips are discarded, the consumable chips become novel electronic waste, so that the environment is polluted and resources are wasted. In response to this situation, the related art has successively proposed repair, recovery, and regeneration schemes for printing consumables and printing consumable chips.
Brand manufacturers typically utilize native consumable chip technology to limit the reproduction of printing consumables. Taking an ink cartridge as an example, the ink amount data in the native consumable chip of the ink cartridge is written as a fixed value when the ink is exhausted and cannot be rewritten, and even if the ink is added to the ink cartridge, the printer still cannot print because the read ink remaining amount is insufficient. For the printing supplies in this case, in the conventional embodiment, the following scheme is generally adopted to realize the regeneration of the printing supplies: installing a regeneration consumable chip in the printing consumable, reading all data from the original consumable chip, repairing damaged data in all data, and writing the obtained data into the regeneration consumable chip; or writing preset data matched with the original consumable chip in the regeneration consumable chip to replace the data of the original consumable chip.
In some scenes, in the process of communication between the consumable chip and the printer, the printer and the consumable chip need to be authenticated, the consumable chip needs to combine the residual amount information and the analog quantity data of the printing consumable, obtain verification data through calculation of a certain algorithm, and feed back the verification data to the printer. Some sensors capable of outputting analog quantity data are built in some original consumable chips on the market at present and are used for collecting information of printing consumables, such as temperature sensors. In the printing process of the printer, on one hand, the original consumable chip feeds back information D1 carrying analog quantity data to the printer, the printer processes the information D1 by adopting a certain algorithm, and verification data D2 is obtained through calculation; on the other hand, the consumable chip also uses the information D1 carrying the analog quantity data to perform the operation with the same algorithm as the printer to obtain the verification data D3, and feeds back the verification data D3 to the printer, and the printer processes the verification data D3. If the processing result of the printer includes one of the following, an error is reported and printing is stopped:
in the first case, the printer compares whether the verification data D2 and the verification data D3 are matched, and if they are not matched, it is determined that the printing consumable is an illegal consumable, which cannot be normally used, and reports an error and stops printing.
In the second situation, the printer acquires the residual amount information of the printing supplies from the returned information D1 with the analog quantity data, judges whether the residual amount of the printing supplies is empty, determines that the service life of the printing supplies is over if the residual amount of the printing supplies is empty, and reports an error and stops printing.
In the traditional mode, on the one hand, if write in the regeneration consumptive material chip with primary consumptive material chip assorted preset data to replace the data of primary consumptive material chip, then the verification data D3 that regeneration consumptive material chip sent to the printer and the verification data D2 that the printer generated mismatch, the printer will confirm that this printing consumptive material is illegal consumptive material, and normally usable leads to reporting the mistake and stopping printing. On the other hand, if the regeneration consumable chip obtains all the data of the original consumable chip, once the printer recognizes that the remaining amount information of the printing consumable carried in the verification data D1 is empty, the end of the service life of the printing consumable is determined, and an error is reported and the printing is stopped.
At present, no effective solution is provided for the problem of printer error reporting in the consumable regeneration scheme of the related art.

The embodiment provides a printing supplies communication method. Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a printing consumables communication method according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 1, the flowchart includes the following steps:
step S101, a first request message initiated by the printer is received, wherein the first request message carries an identifier indicating to acquire the check data.
Step S102, processing preset first consumable data and analog data by adopting a preset algorithm, wherein the analog data is taken from printing consumables, and the preset first consumable data comprises at least one of the following data: the dosage of the consumable container and the serial number of the consumable chip.
Step S103, according to the first request message, sending the verification data to the printer.
In the printing process, the printer acquires the information of the printing consumables by sending a reading command, and determines whether the dosage of the consumable container, the consumable container and the consumable chip are matched or not and whether the consumable container is invalid or not according to the read information so as to reject illegal or invalid consumable containers. The printer also sends a writing command to update the information stored in the printing consumables according to the use condition of the consumables container. In addition, the printer is also provided with a set of algorithm mechanism, some source data of the algorithm are from an analog module of a raw consumable chip in the printing consumables, such as a temperature sensor, the real-time performance and the copying incapability are realized, the printer reads analog quantity data by embedding an identifier for indicating to acquire analog quantity data in a read command, reads verification data by embedding an identifier for indicating to acquire verification data in the read command, and identifies some illegal printing consumables or invalid printing consumables by comparing the read verification data with the verification data calculated by the printer. The first request message of this embodiment is a read command for reading the verification data, which is issued by the printer following an algorithm mechanism, and step S102 is executed according to the identifier carried in the first request message when the first request message is received.
The simulation module of the original consumable chip can collect the information of the printing consumables in real time and output analog quantity data.
The preset algorithm is the same as an algorithm mechanism followed by the printer, the preset first consumable data are data which are matched with the original consumable chip and are set in advance, and the data correspondingly repair the data lost in the original consumable chip, so that the state of the current printing consumable is a normal usable state for the printer. And combining preset first consumable data and analog data as input data of the algorithm, wherein the generated verification data not only contains real-time and uncopyable analog data, but also contains repaired first consumable data. And sending the verification data corresponding to the first request message to the printer so that the printer obtains a comparison result aiming at the verification data.
Through the steps, the problem that the printer reports errors in the consumable regeneration scheme of the related art is solved, and the effect that the regenerated printing consumables can pass through the printer authentication is realized.
In the printing process, the native consumable chip has the real-time characteristic when the native consumable chip follows an algorithm mechanism to perform operation, namely, under the condition that the native consumable chip receives the first request message sent by the current printer, the native consumable chip needs to complete algorithm operation. However, since there is a certain delay in obtaining the analog data, the regenerated consumable chip in the related art cannot complete the algorithm operation when receiving the current first request message, which results in an error reported by the printer and a stop of printing. To solve this problem, the following embodiments will solve the problem that the recycled consumable chip cannot complete the arithmetic operation upon receiving the current first request message.
Before generating the verification data, the method further comprises: delaying the first request message; acquiring analog quantity data in the process of delaying the first request message; and after the first request message is delayed, processing preset first consumable data and analog data by adopting a preset algorithm.
In this embodiment, by delaying the received first request message, it can be ensured that the analog data is in place under the condition of triggering the algorithm operation, so that the problem that the regenerated consumable chip cannot complete the algorithm operation when receiving the current first request message is solved.
In some embodiments, the first request message is delayed according to a preset delay duration, where the delay duration is taken from an interval [ t1, t2], where t1 represents a preset duration between receiving the first request message and obtaining the analog data, and t2 represents a preset duration between receiving the first request message and sending the verification data.
By the arrangement, the algorithm operation can be completed within a reasonable delay time, and the generated verification data is fed back to the printer.
The scheme for feeding back verification data described in the above embodiment does not limit the dose of the consumable container, i.e., whether the consumable container is empty or not, or whether the consumable container is lower than a preset dose or not, does not affect the sending of the verification data according to the embodiment.
Generally, the consumable chip stores the dose of the consumable container and the serial number of the consumable chip inside, and these data are stored in a code table, called first consumable data. When the printer was printed in the installation of the consumptive material container that is equipped with the consumptive material chip, the printer communicates and the data interaction with the consumptive material chip, only when the consumptive material chip feeds back the first consumptive material data of correctness to the printer, the printer can just work, print the in-process printer opportunity simultaneously and write in the time information of printer, print the parameter, dose information in the code table of consumptive material chip, after the dosage is emptied, but the consumptive material container that is equipped with the consumptive material chip can not reuse.
To address this issue, in some embodiments, the method further comprises:
receiving a second request message initiated by the printer, wherein the second request message carries an identifier indicating acquisition of the first consumable data; and sending preset first consumable data to the printer according to the second request message.
Dosage in the consumptive material container will be less along with the use gradually, be used for instructing the data of the dosage of consumptive material container to have the loss in the primary consumptive material chip, predetermine first consumptive material data for with primary consumptive material chip assorted data, give the printer through will predetermine first consumptive material data transmission, can repair the data of loss, solve the problem that the consumptive material container received the restriction of primary consumptive material chip and can not reuse.
The scheme of feeding back first consumable data described in the above embodiment does not limit the dose of the consumable container, i.e. whether the consumable container is empty or not, or whether the consumable container is lower than the preset dose or not, and does not affect the sending of the preset first consumable data according to the present embodiment.
The above embodiments respectively describe schemes for feeding back the verification data and the first consumable data to the printer, and in some cases, other data needs to be fed back to the printer, and in some embodiments, the method further includes: receiving a third request message initiated by the printer; wherein the third request message carries an identifier indicating acquisition of second consumable data, and the second consumable data includes: analog quantity data and spraying point data; and sending the second consumable data to the printer according to the third request message.
