Detailed Description
In order to meet the needs of the traditional network element in the intelligent evolution, transformation and upgrading activities, in the embodiment of the disclosure, detailed planning is performed on an open flow of an internal function of a Network Element (NE), a retraction flow, a takeover establishment flow after the completion of the open flow, an update flow after the takeover establishment flow, and a takeover cancellation flow.
Preferred embodiments of the present disclosure are described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, the intelligent module is connected with a conventional network element through an intelligent control interface. The intelligent control interface has the functions of:
1) The external opening of the internal functions of the traditional network element is realized, namely, the intelligent module can be inserted into the internal processing process of the network element. This is a precondition for intelligent upgrade of traditional network elements.
2) And performing intelligent parallel execution of the internal processing of the network element, namely performing intelligent parallel processing on the internal process of the network element. At this stage, the conventional network element still performs conventional internal processing, but at the same time, the functions in the conventional network element are opened to the intelligent module for processing, so as to check the performance, stability, adaptability and the like of the intelligent processing method, and compare with the conventional method.
3) Intelligent substitution execution of the network element internal process, namely, substitution intelligent processing is carried out on the network element internal process. At this stage, the conventional network element does not perform conventional internal processing any more, but rather relies on intelligent processing of the intelligent module entirely.
Based on the above-described concept, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, when an internal function of a certain network element generates a specific output having uniqueness, the specific output may be used to represent a corresponding internal function.
Specifically, referring to FIG. 2A, when the internal function of module A produces a unique specific output, infoB, may be used to refer to module A. Assuming that the info a is also a unique specific output, it is desirable to use an external functional module instead of or in parallel with the module a, and it is only necessary for the external functional module to receive the info a while outputting the info b.
Further, in practical application, referring to fig. 2B, assume that the info a is load information (LBC specific RAN para) of a radio access network (wireless access network, RAN) of a single cell, a slice, or a cell group, and the info B is a load balancing triggered handover command (LBC Triggered HO Command) formed by a combination of a handover flag (LBC Triggered HO decision flag) triggered by load balancing control, an identifier (5th generation mobile networks Serving Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity,5G-S-TMSI) of a handover subject UE, and a target cell NCGI of handover. When the load balancing control switch trigger (load balance control based handover trigger) is to open an internal function, it is equivalent to having the intelligent load balancing module receive LBC specific RAN para while providing LBC Triggered HO Command.
It follows that the information or information set vectors output by the internal function module can be used to uniquely characterize an internal function of a network element.
Based on the above principle, referring to fig. 3, in the embodiment of the disclosure, a flow of a network element requesting to open an internal function is as follows:
step 300: the network element sends an internal function open request message (Internal Function Open Request) to the parallel or alternative system (Parallel Or Supplanting System, PSS).
In a specific implementation, the cell carried by the internal function open request message is as shown in table 1:

In table 1, in order to be able to inform PSS of the information name and information flow direction of the network element preparation request for opening, at least an internal function to be opened carrying a standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) representing output information of an internal function and an internal function opening manner representing flow direction (Function Output Flow Direction) of output information of an internal function, wherein one internal function corresponds to at least one information; other cells may carry any one or any combination; for example, any one or any combination of the details of the internal function, such as a network element Type (NE ID Type), a network element identification (NE ID Value), the number of kinds of internal functions to be opened expressed as the output number of internal functions (Function Output Counter), the number of component information of the internal function output information (Function Output Components Counter), and a standard name (Function Output Components Nominal Name) of the component information expressed as the internal function output information, may be further carried.
Step 310: the PSS transmits an internal function open result message (Internal Function Open Result) to the network element.
In a specific implementation, the cell carried by the internal function open result message is shown in table 2:

In table 2, at least, an internal function (Accepted Internal Function) which is represented by an internal function output information standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) and is open for admission, and/or an internal function (Not Accepted Internal Function) which is represented by an internal function output information standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) and is not open for admission are carried in order to be able to notify the result of the open processing of the internal function; other cells may carry any one or any combination; for example, any one or any combination of PSS identification (PSS ID), reason for unapproved opening (reaction), minimum back-off Time (Wait Time) before the next internal function opening request message is sent may be further carried.
Specifically, in practical application, assuming that the network element is a base station device (gNB), and the PSS is an intelligent load balancing controller (Intelligence Load Balance Controller, ILBC), the contents in table 1 may be set according to the form of table 3:

Further, in the process of transmitting the cells in the above table 1, table 2 or table 3, table 4, the following methods may be used for encapsulation and transmission of the cells, but are not limited to:
adopting a JS object numbered musical notation (JavaScript Object Notation, JSON) or an abstract syntax notation version 1 (Abstract Syntax Notation One, ASN.1) as a representation layer for packaging;
the transmission is performed using any one of transmission control protocol (Transmission Control Protocol, TCP), user datagram protocol (User Datagram Protocol, UDP), stream control transmission protocol (Stream Control Transmission Protocol, SCTP), hypertext transmission protocol (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol, HTTP), remote procedure call (Remote Process Call, RPC).
Further, the cells in tables 1, 2 are exemplary, and many variations may exist, including but not limited to the following:
Changing the organization form of the cells;
changing the name of the cell;
changing the listing requirements of the cells;
changing the message name;
message splitting;
merging cells into other messages, etc.
And will not be described in detail herein.
Referring to fig. 4A, in the embodiment of the disclosure, the flow of PSS requesting the network element to open the internal function is as follows:
step 400: the PSS transmits an internal function open proposal message (Internal Function Open Suggestion) to the network element.
In a specific implementation, the cells carried by the internal function open advice message are shown in table 5:

In table 5, in order to inform the network element that the PSS suggests an open information name and information flow direction, at least a suggested open internal function expressed as a standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) of the internal function output information and a suggested internal function open manner expressed as a flow direction (Function Output Flow Direction) of the internal function output information are carried, wherein one internal function corresponds to at least one information; other cells may carry any one or any combination; for example, any one or any combination of the PSS identification (PSS ID), the number of kinds of suggested open internal functions expressed as the number of outputs of the internal function (Function Output Counter), the number of component information outputted by the internal function (Function Output Components Counter), and the detailed description of the internal function expressed as the standard name (Function Output Components Nominal Name) of the component information of the output information of the internal function may be further carried.
Step 410: the network element sends an internal function open request message to the PSS.
Specifically, the implementation manner of step 410 is the same as that of step 300, and will not be described in detail herein.
Step 420: the PSS transmits an internal function open result message to the network element.
Specifically, the implementation manner of step 420 is the same as that of step 310, and will not be described in detail herein.
On the other hand, referring to fig. 4B, in the embodiment of the disclosure, the flow of PSS requesting the network element to open the internal function is as follows:
step 400: the PSS transmits an internal function open proposal message to the network element.
Specifically, the implementation manner of step 400 depicted in fig. 4B is the same as that of step 400 in fig. 4A, and will not be described in detail herein.
Step 430: the network element sends an Error Indication message (Error Indication) to the PSS.
In an implementation, the cells carried by the error indication message are as shown in table 6:

In table 6, at least an Error Type (Error Type) is carried in order to notify the open processing result of the internal function, and the Error is expressed as the position of the standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) of the output information of the internal function; other cells may carry any one or any combination; for example, any one or any combination of further detailed positions of error occurrence of the network element Type (NE ID Type), the network element identification (NE ID Value), the standard name (Function Output Components Nominal Name) of the component information expressed as the internal function output information may be further carried.
Where Function Output Nominal Name is a characterization of the error location for single cell errors, deep into the Function Output Components Nominal Name hierarchy is required for cell group errors.
Specifically, in practical application, assuming that the network element is a gNB and PSS is ILBC, the contents in table 5 may be set according to the form of table 7:

Further, in transmitting the cells in the above table 5, table 6 or table 7, the encapsulation and transmission of the cells may be performed using, but not limited to, the following methods.

Referring to fig. 5, in the embodiment of the disclosure, the flow of the network element request to retract the internal open function is as follows:
step 500: the network element sends a retraction internal open function request message to the PSS (Internal Function Restore Request).
Specifically, the request message for recovering the internal open function is used for informing the PSS that the network element prepares an information name for requesting recovery, where one internal open function corresponds to at least one open information;
in an implementation, the information element carried by the retracted internal open function request message is as shown in table 8:

In table 8, in order to inform PSS of the information name of the network element preparation request for retraction, at least the internal function to be retracted is carried with the standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) representing the output information of the internal function, and other cells may carry any one or any combination; for example, any one or any combination of the number of kinds of the internal functions to be recovered, which are expressed as the output number (Function Output Counter) of the internal functions, and the further detailed description of the internal functions to be recovered, which are expressed as the standard name (Function Output Components Nominal Name) of the component information of the output information of the internal functions, may be further carried.
Wherein Function Output Nominal Name is characterizable for the case of retrieving a single cell and is required to go deep into the Function Output Components Nominal Name level for the case of retrieving a single cell in the cell group.
Step 510: the PSS transmits a retraction internal open function result message to the network element (Internal Function Restore Result).
In an implementation, the cell carried by the retracted internal open function result message is as shown in table 9:

In the above table 9, in order to be able to notify the result of the retraction processing of the internal open function, at least the internal function (Restored Internal Function) that completed the retraction, or/and the internal function (Not Restored Internal Function) that did not complete the retraction, is carried; the Reason for incomplete retraction (reaction) may be further carried.

Specifically, the internal open function request message is used for notifying the NE that the PSS requests the information name of the return, where one internal open function corresponds to at least one open information;
in an implementation, the cells carried by the reply internal open function request message are shown in table 12:

In table 12, in order to inform the network element that the PSS requests the delivered open information name, at least the delivered internal function expressed as the standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) of the internal function output information is to be carried, and any one or any combination of other cells may be carried; for example, any one or any combination of the number of kinds of internal functions to be delivered, which are expressed as the output number (Function Output Counter) of the internal functions, and further detailed description of the internal functions to be delivered, which are expressed as the standard name (Function Output Components Nominal Name) of the component information of the output information of the internal functions, may be further carried.
Where Function Output Nominal Name can be characterized for the case of a single cell to be returned, or else for a single cell in the group of cells to be returned, it is necessary to go deep into the Function Output Components Nominal Name hierarchy.
Step 610: the network element sends a return internal open function result message (Internal Function Restore Result) to the PSS.
In a specific implementation, the cells carried by the internal open function result message are shown in table 13:

The PSS further carries, in the internal open function output information extraction mode information, any one or any combination of a requirement at a time point of information extraction expressed as a Takeover Timing (Takeover Period), a requirement at an interval of information extraction expressed as a Takeover Period (Takeover-Period), a supplementary requirement at a time point of information extraction expressed as a Takeover precondition (Takeover Condition), and an influence of an extraction action expressed as an influence on a network element (inpact on NE) on an internal process being performed by the network element.
The PSS further carries, in the internal open function output information providing manner information, any one or any combination of an influence of a providing action expressed as an influence on a network element (inpact on NE) on an ongoing internal process of the network element and a duration of a suspension process of an internal function of the network element expressed as a Block Time.
Step 710: the network element sends an internal open function takeover setup result message to the PSS (Internal Function Takeover Setup Result).

Specifically, the input type takeover information injection request message is used for notifying the information name requested to be injected and the specific information content requested to be injected.

step 900: the PSS transmits an internal open function takeover update request message to the network element (Internal Function Takeover Update Request).
Specifically, the internal open function takes over the update request message to inform the network element that the PSS requests to take over the updated information name, the information extraction mode or/and the information provision mode.
In an implementation, the cells carried by the internal open function information injection request message are as follows in table 24:

In the above table 24, in order to be able to inform the network element that the PSS requests to take over the updated information name, the extraction mode of the information, or/and the provision mode of the information, at least the internal function to be taken over, which is represented by the standard name (Function Output Nominal Name) of the internal function output information, the internal function take over method, which is represented by the internal function output information extraction mode (Function Output Takeover Configuration-from NE to PSS), or/and the internal function output information provision mode (Function Output Takeover Configuration-from PSS to NE), is carried.
The PSS may further carry any one or any combination of the Number of types of the internal functions to be updated, which is expressed as the output Number (Function Output Counter) of the internal functions, and the time sequence of actions such as starting and closing the internal functions, which is expressed as the Takeover sequence (Takeover Number), in the internal open function Takeover update request message.
The PSS further carries any one or any combination of a requirement at a time point of information extraction expressed as a Takeover Timing (Takeover Period), a requirement at an interval of information extraction expressed as a Takeover Period (Takeover Period), a supplementary requirement at a time point of information extraction expressed as a Takeover precondition (Takeover Condition), and an influence of an extraction action expressed as an influence on a network element (inpact on NE) on an ongoing internal process of the network element, in the internal open function output information extraction manner.
The PSS further carries, in the internal open function output information providing manner, any one or any combination of durations of a suspension process of an internal function of the network element, which is represented as a blocking duration (Block Time), which is represented as an effect on the network element (Impact on NE) on an ongoing internal process of the network element.
Step 910: the network element sends an internal open function takeover update result message to the PSS (Internal Function Takeover Update Result).
In a specific implementation, the cell carried by the update result message taken over by the internal open function is shown in table 25:

In summary, in the implementation of the disclosure, the opening process, the retraction process, the taking over establishment process after the opening of the internal function of the network element, and the updating process after the taking over establishment process, the taking over cancellation process are all planned in detail, so that the opening of the internal function of the traditional network element to the outside can be realized through the processes, the intelligent module can be involved in the internal processing process of the network element, and the intelligent upgrading is realized by assisting the traditional network element, so as to meet the needs of intelligent evolution, transformation and upgrading activities of the traditional network element.

Claims (86)

1. A method for opening an internal function of a network element, comprising:
The network element NE sends an internal function opening request message to a parallel or alternative system PSS, wherein the internal function opening request message is used for informing the PSS that the NE prepares an open information name and an information flow direction, and one internal function to be opened corresponds to at least one information;
the NE receives an internal function opening result message returned by the PSS, wherein the internal function opening result message is used for notifying a processing result of the internal function opening.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the NE carries in the internal function open request message at least the following cells:
the internal function to be opened, which is represented by the standard name Function Output Nominal Name of the internal function output information;
the internal function is represented as an internal function open mode in which the flow direction Function Output Flow Direction of the internal function output information is provided.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the NE further carries any one or any combination of the following cells in the internal function open request message:
NE Type NE ID Type;
the NE identifies the NE ID Value;
the output number of the internal functions to be opened expressed as the output number Function Output Counter of the internal functions;
The number Function Output Components Counter of component information of the internal function output information;
the internal function outputs the standard name Function Output Components Nominal Name of the component information of the information.
4. A method according to any one of claims 1-3, wherein the PSS is an intelligent load balancing controller ILBC.
5. A method for opening an internal function of a network element, comprising:
the parallel or alternative system PSS receives an internal function opening request message sent by a network element NE, wherein the internal function opening request message is used for informing the PSS that the NE prepares an open information name and an information flow direction, and one internal function to be opened corresponds to at least one information;
the PSS sends an internal function opening result message to the NE, wherein the internal function opening result message is used for notifying a processing result of the internal function opening.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein the PSS carries at least the following cells in the internal function open result message:
an internal function Accepted Internal Function of an admission opening expressed as an internal function output information standard name Function Output Nominal Name; or/and the combination of the two,
An unapproved open internal function Not Accepted Internal Function, which appears as an internal function output information standard name Function Output Nominal Name.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the PSS further carries any one or any combination of the following cells in the internal function open result message:
PSSIDs identify PSSIDs;
the Reason for unapproved patency, reason;
the minimum back-off Time Wait Time before the next internal function open request message is sent.
8. The method of any one of claims 5-7, wherein the PSS is an intelligent load balancing controller ILBC.
9. A method for opening an internal function of a network element, comprising:
the parallel or alternative system PSS sends an internal function opening proposal message to the network element NE, wherein the internal function opening proposal message is used for informing the NE that the PSS recommends an open information name and an information flow direction, and one internal function to be opened corresponds to at least one information;
the PSS receiving an internal function open request message sent by the NE using the method of any of claims 1 to 3 and sending an internal function open result message to the NE using the method of any of claims 5 to 7;
Or alternatively, the process may be performed,
and the PSS receives an error indication message returned by the NE, wherein the error indication message is sent by the NE based on the internal function open suggestion message and is used for notifying a processing result of the internal function open suggestion.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the PSS carries at least the following cells in the internal function open proposal message:
suggested open internal functions of standard name Function Output Nominal Name expressed as internal function output information;
the suggested internal function open mode is represented as a flow direction Function Output Flow Direction of the internal function output information.
