It is well known that an improper design of the steering boot structure results in dust failure and engine noise being transmitted through the perforations into the cab, affecting ride comfort.
As shown in fig. 1, the dust cover structure of the existing automobile steering transmission shaft comprises a rubber sleeve 6 and a metal pressing plate 8 which are sequentially overlapped, a nylon bush 7 is arranged between the rubber sleeve 6 and the steering transmission shaft 3, and the nylon bush 7 is used for supporting the rubber sleeve 6 and is in clearance fit with the steering transmission shaft 3.
The existing dust cover structure of the automobile steering transmission shaft has the defects of poor sealing effect and short service life: specifically, in the automobile steering process, the steering transmission shaft 3 generates radial deviation, and the rubber part at the sealing lip 6a is subjected to rotary abrasion, and due to the clearance fit between the nylon bush 7 and the steering transmission shaft 3, the rubber sleeve 6 at the sealing lip 6a is directly subjected to abrasion failure, so that the problems of dust failure, water leakage, poor sound insulation effect, steering abnormal sound and the like are directly caused.
Therefore, how to provide a dust cover structure of an automobile steering transmission shaft with good sealing effect and long service life becomes a technical problem to be solved urgently by technical personnel in the field.
