Abstract
The invention provides a display device, which comprises a front display module and a back display module which are oppositely arranged, wherein an annular display module is also arranged in the circumferential direction of the front display module and the back display module, and the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module all comprise display modules; the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are enclosed to form a display outer surface of the display device; therefore, the display device provided by the invention has the display modules on the front surface, the back surface and the circumferential direction, and can realize the image display of the whole outer surface.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a display device.
Background
A display screen is an essential important component for a display device, and is currently generally arranged on the side of a display device facing a user, and the main function of the display screen is to display images, so that the user obtains information through the display screen. With the rapid development of electronic technology, the requirements of users on the use of display screens are also increasing.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a display device with display functions on the outer surfaces.
The present invention provides a display device including:
the front display module and the back display module are arranged oppositely, an annular display module is arranged in the circumferential direction of the front display module and the back display module, and the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module all comprise display modules; the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are enclosed to form the display outer surface of the display device.
The display device provided by the invention has the display modules on the front surface, the back surface and the circumferential direction, and can realize the image display of the whole outer surface.
Optionally, the front display module assembly, the back display module assembly and the annular display module assembly further comprise cover plates, and the cover plates of the annular display module assembly are fixedly connected with the cover plates of the front display module assembly and the cover plates of the back display module assembly on two sides of the annular display module assembly.
Optionally, one of two adjacent side walls of the cover plate of the front display module and the cover plate of the annular display module is provided with a boss part, and the other side wall is provided with a groove part matched with the boss part;
and/or, one of two adjacent side walls of the cover plate of the back display module and the cover plate of the annular display module is provided with a boss part, and the other side wall is provided with a groove part matched with the boss part.
Optionally, the cover plate of the front display module and the cover plate of the back display module are both circumferentially provided with groove portions, and the corresponding side wall of the cover plate of the annular display module is provided with boss portions matched with the corresponding groove portions.
Optionally, an adhesive layer is filled at least in a partial position between the boss portion and the groove portion.
Optionally, the cross section profile of the annular display module is arc-shaped or U-shaped;
and/or the front display module and the back display module are of a flat plate structure or a curved surface structure;
and/or, the circuits of the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are mutually independent and are respectively connected with the main board of the display device through corresponding flexible circuit boards;
and/or the display modules of the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are flexible screens.
Optionally, the annular display module assembly includes two display module assembly sections at least along circumference, and all display module assembly sections are fixed in proper order end to end and form annular.
Optionally, the annular display module assembly includes first semi-ring display module assembly and second semi-ring display module assembly, first semi-ring display module assembly and second semi-ring display module assembly dock and form the annular.
Optionally, the display module of the front display module and the display module of the annular display module, the display module of the back display module and the display module of the annular display module are connected or have a predetermined gap.
Optionally, the display device further includes a main board, the display module part of the annular display module further has a bending section extending inwards, and the bending section is electrically connected with the main board through a flexible circuit board.

In the description of the present invention, it should be noted that, directions or positional relationships indicated by terms such as "center", "upper", "lower", "left", "right", "vertical", "horizontal", "inner", "outer", etc., are based on directions or positional relationships shown in the drawings, are merely for convenience of description of the technology, and are not indicative or implying that the apparatus or element in question must have a specific direction, a specific direction configuration and operation, and thus the limitation of the present invention is not to be construed. Furthermore, the terms "first," "second," and "third" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance.
It should be noted that, here, taking the display device in the use state as an example, the side facing the user is the front side, and the side facing away from the user is the back side.
The display device in the invention can comprise, but is not limited to, electronic equipment such as intelligent wearing, mobile phones, tablet computers, portable mobile phones, access control systems and the like.

Referring to fig. 1 to 7, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a display device according to an embodiment of the invention; FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the display device of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 is a partial cross-sectional view of the display device shown in FIG. 1; FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view of another portion of the display device shown in FIG. 1; FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of a first half-ring display module of the display device shown in FIG. 1; FIG. 6 is a schematic view of a first cover plate of the display device shown in FIG. 1; fig. 7 is a partial enlarged view at a in fig. 6.
As shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, the display device provided by the invention may include a front display module 1, a back display module 2 and an annular display module 3, where the front display module 1 and the back display module 2 may be disposed opposite to each other, and the two may be connected with the annular display module 3 in a circumferential direction, and the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 may all include display modules for displaying image information. The front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 are enclosed to form the display outer surface of the display device, that is, the display modules of the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 in the invention can be spliced to form a full-screen display screen, that is, the front, the back and the annular surfaces of the display device form a full-screen structure, so that the whole outer surface of the display device can display images. The specific structure of the display module may take various forms, so long as the display of pictures or videos such as images can be realized, and those skilled in the art can refer to the prior art, and details are not repeated herein.
The front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 can be of an integrated module structure, and of course can also be of a split type independent structure, and the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 form a whole in an assembling mode. Each of the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 may be an integral display module, and of course, each of the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 may also be composed of two or more display module units. In the latter embodiment, the front display module 1 and the back display module 2 are both integral display modules, and the annular display module 3 includes two display module sections, and the two display module sections are abutted to form the annular display module 3.
Any one of the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 in the present invention may be a flexible screen, for example, the flexible screen may be an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) screen or an LED (fully-called Light-Emitting Diode) screen or other flexible screens. The annular display module 3 can generally comprise a plurality of straight line segments and corner segments positioned between adjacent straight line segments, and the flexible screen is more beneficial to the position forming of the corner segments, so that the structure process is simpler.
Of course, the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the ring display module 3 may also adopt a non-flexible screen structure. For the annular display module, the corner section of the annular display module may be integrated with the adjacent straight line section thereof by the connection means.
The display device provided by the invention has the display modules on the front surface, the back surface and the circumferential direction, and can realize the image display of the whole outer surface.
In this embodiment, the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 may all include a cover plate, and the cover plate may cover the surface of the display module for protecting the display module, and the cover plate and the display module may be fixedly connected by adhesion. The cover plate is usually made of transparent materials, and can be made of transparent glass or other transparent materials. For the sake of brevity of description of the technical solution, the cover plate of the front display module 1 is defined herein as a first cover plate, and the display module of the front display module 1 is a first display module 11; the cover plate of the back display module 2 is a second cover plate, and the display module of the back display module 2 is a second display module 21; the cover plate of the annular display module 3 is a third cover plate 32, and the cover plate of the annular display module 3 is a third display module 31.
The cover plates of the annular display module 3 are fixedly connected with the cover plates of the front display module 1 and the back display module 2 on two sides of the annular display module, namely, the third cover plate 32 is fixedly connected with the first cover plate 12 and the third cover plate 32 is fixedly connected with the second cover plate 22 to form the outer surface of the display device.
In this embodiment, the annular display module 3 and the front display module 1, the annular display module 3 and the back display module 2 are respectively connected and fixed to form a whole through the third cover plate 32 and the first cover plate 12, and the third cover plate 32 and the second cover plate 22, so that only the corresponding matching structures are required to be processed on the first cover plate 12, the second cover plate 22 and the third cover plate 32, the structure of each display module is not affected, the normal operation of each display module can be ensured, meanwhile, the cover plates are not provided with components such as circuits and the like, the hardness is relatively high, and the matching structures are easy to process and realize.
In a specific embodiment, one of two adjacent side walls of the first cover plate 12 and the third cover plate 32 is provided with a boss portion, the other is provided with a groove portion which is matched with the boss portion, and the first cover plate 12 and the third cover plate 32 are connected by inserting fit and positioning of the boss portion and the groove portion.
Similarly, one of the two adjacent side walls of the second cover plate 22 and the third cover plate 32 is provided with a boss portion, the other is provided with a groove portion matched with the boss portion, and the second cover plate 22 and the third cover plate 32 are connected in a positioning manner through the insertion fit of the boss portion and the groove portion. The groove portion on the second cover plate and the groove portion on the first cover plate are defined herein as a second groove portion 221 and a first groove portion 121, respectively; the third cover plate has a first boss portion 321 fitted in cooperation with the first groove portion 121, and a second boss portion 322 fitted in cooperation with the second groove portion 221.
The structure that boss portion and recess portion insert fit are comparatively simple, are favorable to forming continuous surface for form seamless display's effect between front display module assembly 1 and the cyclic annular display module assembly 3, between back display module assembly 2 and the cyclic annular display module assembly 3, the display screen continuity of adjacent display module assembly hookup location is higher promptly.
In fig. 3 to 7, a specific embodiment in which groove portions are provided in the circumferential direction of the first cover plate 12 and the second cover plate 22, and boss portions are provided on the side walls of the third cover plate 32 opposite to the first cover plate 12 and the second cover plate 22 is shown. Of course, the first cover plate 12 and the second cover plate 22 may also be provided with boss portions, and the corresponding side walls of the third cover plate 32 may be provided with groove portions.
As described above, the third cover plate 32 includes the first boss portion 321 and the second boss portion 322, the circumferential side wall of the first cover plate 12 is provided with the first groove portion 121, the circumferential side wall of the second cover plate 22 is provided with the second groove portion 221, the first boss portion 321 is opposite to the first groove portion 121, and the second boss portion 322 is opposite to the second groove portion 221, which are fitted in a pair of insertion.
In order to improve the connection and fixation reliability between the boss portion and the groove portion, at least a partial position between the boss portion and the groove portion may be further filled with an adhesive layer, that is, an adhesive layer may be formed between the first boss portion 321 and the first groove portion 121, between the second boss portion 322 and the second groove portion 221 through processes such as dispensing or gluing, and the adjacent two may be reliably connected through the adhesive layer.
In a specific embodiment, the cross-sectional profile of the annular display module 3 may be arc-shaped or U-shaped, and accordingly, the cross-sectional profile of the third cover plate 32 and the display module are arc-shaped or U-shaped. When the cross section outline of the annular display module 3 is arc-shaped, the whole appearance of the display device is streamline design, and the appearance is attractive. When the cross-sectional profile of the annular display module 3 is U-shaped, the U-shape has two side walls parallel to the first cover plate 12 and the second cover plate 22, so that the arrangement of the boss portion on the third cover plate 32 can be facilitated, and the assembly accuracy can be improved.
In the above embodiments, the front display module 1 and the back display module 2 may have a flat plate structure or a curved surface structure, and when the front display module 1 and the back display module 2 may have a flat plate structure, the first cover plate 12 and the second cover plate 22 are also substantially flat plate structures, which is simple in structure and convenient for assembly. The front display module 1 and the rear display module 2 may be substantially parallel, or may be non-parallel. The front display module 1 and the back display module 2 are of curved structures and can be determined according to different products, so that different use requirements are met.
In a specific embodiment, the circuits of the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 may be independent from each other and connected to the main board of the display device through corresponding flexible circuit boards. Thus, the front display module 1, the back display module 2 and the annular display module 3 work independently without influence.
Specifically, the display module of the annular display module 3 further has a bending section 311 extending inward at a partial position thereof, and the bending section 311 is electrically connected to the main board (the flexible circuit board and the main board are not shown in the drawing) through the flexible circuit board.
Similarly, the first display module 11 of the front display module 1 may have a bending connection section 111, and the second display module 21 of the rear display module 2 may have a bending connection section 211, which may be used for connecting to a flexible circuit board.
In order to facilitate assembly, the annular display module 3 of the invention at least comprises two display module sections along the circumferential direction, all the display module sections are sequentially connected and fixed end to form an annular shape, and the adjacent display module sections can be fixedly connected in a bonding or/and splicing mode. The attached drawings show that the annular display module 3 comprises two display module sections along the circumferential direction, the two display module sections can have the same structure, namely, the two display module sections are respectively a first half-ring display module 3-1 and a second half-ring display module 3-2, the first half-ring display module 3-1 and the second half-ring display module 3-2 can have symmetrical structures, and the first half-ring display module 3-1 and the second half-ring display module 3-2 can be butted to form an annular shape, so that the processing is convenient. Of course, the structures of the two display module sections can also be different, and the display module sections are determined according to the product requirements.
The display modules of the front display module 1 and the annular display module 3, the display module of the back display module 2 and the display module of the annular display module 3 in the above embodiments may be connected, which is favorable to continuity of display images, and of course, the first display module 11 and the third display module 31, the second display module 21 and the third display module 31 may also have predetermined gaps, and a certain deformation space of parts may be reserved, so that assembly interference may be avoided.
The other parts of the structure of the display device are referred to in the prior art, and are not described herein.

Claims (8)
1. A display device, comprising:
the front display module and the back display module are arranged oppositely, an annular display module is arranged in the circumferential direction of the front display module and the back display module, and the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module all comprise display modules; the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are combined to form the whole display outer surface of the display device;
the annular display module comprises at least two display module sections along the circumferential direction, and all the display module sections are sequentially connected end to end and fixed to form an annular shape;
the annular display module comprises a first semi-annular display module and a second semi-annular display module, and the first semi-annular display module and the second semi-annular display module are in butt joint to form an annular shape.
2. The display device of claim 1, wherein the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module further comprise cover plates, and the cover plates of the annular display module are fixedly connected with the cover plates of the front display module and the cover plates of the back display module at two sides of the annular display module.
3. The display device according to claim 2, wherein one of two adjacent side walls of the cover plate of the front display module and the cover plate of the annular display module is provided with a boss portion, and the other is provided with a groove portion matched with the boss portion;
and/or, one of two adjacent side walls of the cover plate of the back display module and the cover plate of the annular display module is provided with a boss part, and the other side wall is provided with a groove part matched with the boss part.

A display device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the cover plate of the front display module and the cover plate of the rear display module are both circumferentially provided with recess portions, and the corresponding side walls of the cover plate of the annular display module are provided with boss portions which are fitted with the corresponding recess portions.
5. A display device as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that at least a partial position between the boss portion and the recess portion is filled with an adhesive layer.
6. The display device of claim 1, wherein the cross-sectional profile of the annular display module is arcuate or U-shaped;
and/or the front display module and the back display module are of a flat plate structure or a curved surface structure;
and/or, the circuits of the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are mutually independent and are respectively connected with the main board of the display device through corresponding flexible circuit boards;
and/or the display modules of the front display module, the back display module and the annular display module are flexible screens.
7. The display device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the display module of the front display module and the display module of the annular display module, the display module of the rear display module and the display module of the annular display module are connected or have a predetermined gap.
8. The display device of any one of claims 1 to 6, further comprising a main board, wherein the display module partial position of the annular display module further has an inwardly extending bending section, and the bending section is electrically connected to the main board through a flexible circuit board.
