Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of communication, in particular to an eSIM card issuing device.
Background
The eSIM issuing refers to writing the profile data acquired from the profile data center into an eSIM chip of the device. As shown in fig. 1, SM-DP + is a trusted Profile data center for GSMA (global system for mobile communications association) SAS authentication, card data (KI + OPC + ICCID + IMSI) of an operator, personalized data (Profile), and the like can be securely stored in the data center, and a secure transmission channel is established between DP + and LPA (Local Profile Assistant) modules through ES9+ (https protocol) interface, thereby completing secure transmission of Profile data.
The key to the card issuing process is to provide a network protocol stack and have network access capability. In practical application, different application scenarios of the terminal product will cause the terminal product to have differences in software and hardware in the access capability. For example, for a terminal device (e.g., a mobile phone) with an intelligent operating system Android or IOS, as shown in fig. 1, a user may download profile data to an attached eSIM chip in the terminal device by using an LPA module of the user. However, for many low-end modules/devices (e.g., trackers), which do not have the capability of integrating LPA software due to limited space and product location, downloading of profile data is required before shipping (e.g., on the production line or in the warehouse), which requires the card manufacturer to perform writing of profile data in advance in bulk before authorization from the operator, and the module/device manufacturers are required to prepare eSIM chips with the profile data written therein in advance, which causes the module/device manufacturers to advance the package fee and not to purchase the activation codes related to the profile data from the operator as needed according to the shipping condition of the module/device.
