The invention discloses a method for quickly repairing insulation short circuit fault of a track circuit, which comprises the steps of knocking a steel rail and a steel rail joint clamping plate by using an iron hammer, when the reading of a rail diagnostic device is instantly increased to the highest standard value and then falls back to a normal standard value, judging that a short circuit point is unreliable in short circuit when knocking, and the fault point is between the section of insulation slot plate; when the reading of the rail diagnostic device is instantly increased to the highest scale value, the short circuit point is judged to be a reliable short circuit, and the fault point is positioned between the insulating slot plates, so that the fault point can be quickly judged to be an insulating slot plate short circuit or an uninterrupted short circuit fault; and updating a section of the insulating slot plate at the position of the fault point, and then measuring the track current by using the rail diagnosis device. The invention aims to solve the problem of providing a method for quickly repairing the insulation short circuit fault of a track circuit, so as to solve the problems that the existing transportation track circuit is easy to be short-circuited but difficult to judge and detect, wastes human resources and affects the production efficiency.
