Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is described in further detail below with reference to embodiments and accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and do not limit the invention.
The invention provides a communicating vessel type combined fuel tank for a diesel locomotive, which comprises a main fuel tank 1, a sub fuel tank 2, a communicating vessel pipeline 3, an oil suction pipeline 4 and an oil return pipeline 9, wherein the lower part of the main fuel tank 1 is connected with the lower part of the sub fuel tank 2 through the communicating vessel pipeline 3, the communicating vessel pipeline 3 is provided with an oil suction opening 5, the oil suction pipeline 4 is connected with the communicating vessel pipeline 3 through the oil suction opening 5, and the main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 are arranged at positions higher than the communicating vessel pipeline 3; wherein, the main fuel tank 1 is provided with a filler opening 7 and an oil return opening 8, and the tail end of an oil return pipeline 9 is connected with the oil return opening 8. The main fuel tanks 1 and the sub fuel tanks 2 are provided on the underframe 6 of the internal combustion engine, and the main fuel tanks 1 and the sub fuel tanks 2 may be provided at any position above the underframe 6 of the internal combustion engine where the fuel tanks may be arranged. The connector pipe 3 is disposed below the underframe 6 of the internal combustion engine. Wherein the number of sub fuel tanks 2 is at least one.
The communicating vessel pipeline 3 comprises a communicating vessel main body pipeline 31 and a communicating vessel split pipeline 32, and the main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 are respectively connected with the communicating vessel main body pipeline 31 through the communicating vessel split pipeline 32. Preferably, each of the communicator split pipes 32 is equally spaced from the center of the communicator body pipe 31.
The main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 of the communicating vessel type combined fuel tank for an internal combustion engine of the present invention are each provided with a vent hole 12 as shown in fig. 3.
When the diesel locomotive is on a slope, the fuel levels of the main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 which are not at the same level have a height difference. If the suction opening 5 is provided in the main tank 1 or the sub-tank 2, it may be impossible to suck oil on certain slopes due to the fuel level of the main tank 1 or the sub-tank 2 falling. Therefore, to ensure smooth operation of the fuel system, the oil suction port 5 is provided on the connector pipe 3 below the underframe 6 of the internal combustion engine, as close as possible to the middle of the connector pipe 3. Preferably the oil suction opening 5 is located at an intermediate position of the communicator body pipe 31. The suction line 4 is connected to the connector line 3 through a suction opening 5. Therefore, under the horizontal condition, the position of the oil suction opening 5 is the lowest point of the whole fuel system, the oil suction opening 5 is ensured to be positioned below the fuel liquid level of the main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 to the maximum extent, and the fuel liquid level of the main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 is ensured to be higher than the oil suction opening 5, so that the oil suction is ensured.
The principle of the communicating vessels is that under the action of equal atmospheric pressure, the horizontal liquid level inside each box body communicated through the communicating vessels is always equal. Therefore, in the communicating vessel type combined fuel tank for the internal combustion engine vehicle, only a fuel filling opening 7 and a fuel return opening 8 are needed to be arranged on one fuel tank, wherein the fuel return opening 8 is connected with the tail end of a fuel return pipeline 9.
The communicating vessel type combined fuel tank for the internal combustion engine of the invention ensures the loading capacity of fuel by dividing the fuel tank into a plurality of sub fuel tanks and installing the sub fuel tanks at different positions to avoid the limitation of installation space, therefore, for convenience of explanation and distinction, the proposed main fuel tank 1 and the sub fuel tank 2 are relative concepts, wherein the main fuel tank 1 is distinguished from the sub fuel tank 2 by arranging a filling opening 7 and an oil return opening 8 on the main fuel tank 1.
