Detailed Description
Fig. 1 is an overall perspective exploded view of an adjusting structure 1 of a presser foot of a sewing machine according to the present invention. Hereinafter, an adjusting structure 1 of a presser foot of a sewing machine will be described with reference to fig. 1.
The adjusting structure 1 of the sewing machine presser foot is provided with a joint part 2 which can adjust the height direction and the rotation direction orientation of the sewing machine presser foot 4 between a pressure rod 3 and the sewing machine presser foot 4.
The joint part 2 is composed of two members, that is, a sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and a presser bar joint part 6, the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 is mounted on a sewing machine presser foot 4, the presser bar joint part 6 is provided for mounting the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 in such a manner that the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 can be adjusted in the height direction and the rotation direction, and the presser bar joint part 6 is mounted with the presser bar 3 via a mounting structure 8 on the opposite side of the mounting direction in which the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 is mounted.
Details of the structure and mounting manner of the presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 of the sewing machine will be described later.
Fig. 2 shows a mounting manner between the sewing machine presser foot 4 and the sewing machine presser foot head 5. A groove-shaped mounting groove 9 is formed in the sewing machine presser foot 4. The sewing machine presser foot 4 and the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 are fixed together by fitting the fitting part 10 formed in the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 into the fitting groove 9 and tightening the screw 11 provided in the fitting part 10, thereby forming an integrated unit 12.
The effect of this structure lies in: even if the sewing machine presser foot 4 of low precision such as the sewing machine presser foot 4 or the mounting groove 9 of all kinds is used, the fixing device can be fixed on the pressure lever 3 in a non-shaking and extremely stable manner.
Further, although the embodiment is described in which the mounting groove 9 is formed in the sewing machine presser foot 4 and the fitting portion 10 and the screw 11 are formed in the sewing machine presser foot head portion 5, the mounting groove 9 may be formed in the sewing machine presser foot head portion 5 and the fitting portion 10 and the screw 11 may be formed in the sewing machine presser foot 4. Further, the fixing between the sewing machine presser foot 4 and the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 is not limited to the structure of fixing by the screw 11, and any fixing method such as a one-touch mounting method such as a cap method, a concave-convex fitting method, and the like can be adopted.
Fig. 3 shows an installation manner in which the presser bar joint portion 6 is installed to the unit 12 which is integrated by fixing the sewing machine presser foot 4 and the sewing machine presser foot head portion 5 together.
A female screw portion 13 is formed on a surface (upper surface side) of the sewing machine presser foot joint section 5 facing the fitting portion 10, and a female screw is formed in the female screw portion 13. A male screw portion 14 to which the female screw portion 13 is screwed is formed in the strut joint portion 6. The male screwing portion 14 is screwed with the fixing portion 7 as a nut, and the male screwing portion 14. Here, the length of the male screw threaded portion 14 in the height direction is formed to be a length at which the male screw portion of the male screw threaded portion 14 protrudes even when the fixing portion 7 is screwed. The reason why the male screw portion of the male screw threaded portion 14 is formed to protrude is that: the height direction and the direction of rotation of the presser foot 4 of the sewing machine of the present invention are adjusted by the depth and angle (in other words, the number of rotations) of the screwing of the female screwing portion 13 and the male screwing portion 14.
The fixing portion 7 is formed by a nut. After the female thread portion 13 and the male thread portion 14 are screwed together by a predetermined amount, the fixing portion 7 is rotated toward the surface of the sewing machine presser foot contact portion 5 on which the female thread portion 13 is formed other than the female thread portion 13, so that friction is generated between the lower surface of the nut of the fixing portion 7 and the surface of the sewing machine presser foot contact portion 5 on which the female thread portion 13 is formed other than the female thread portion 13 to make the fixing portion 7 hard to rotate or not rotate, thereby fixing the unit 12 and the presser foot joint portion 6 together. This state is set to a completely fixed state (a main fastening state).
When the unit 12 or the sewing machine presser foot attachment head portion 5 and the presser bar joint portion 6 are temporarily fixed, the unit 12 and the presser bar joint portion 6 are temporarily fixed by screwing the female screw thread portion 13 and the male screw thread portion 14 by only a predetermined amount, or after the female screw thread portion 13 and the male screw thread portion 14 are screwed by a predetermined amount, the fixing portion 7 is rotated to such an extent that a predetermined frictional force is generated between the lower surface of the nut as the fixing portion 7 and the surface of the sewing machine presser foot attachment head portion 5 on which the female screw thread portion 13 is formed other than the female screw thread portion 13 and the fixing portion 7 can be rotated with respect to the fixing portion 7, so that the unit 12 and the presser bar joint portion 6 are temporarily fixed.
Further, although the fixing portion 7 is provided by forming the female screw portion 13 in the sewing machine presser foot joint portion 5 and the male screw portion 14 in the presser bar joint portion 6, the fixing portion 7 may be provided by forming the female screw portion 13 in the presser bar joint portion 6 and the male screw portion 14 in the sewing machine presser foot joint portion 5. Further, the structure is not limited to the structure in which the female screw thread portion 13 is formed in the sewing machine presser foot joint portion 5 and the male screw thread portion 14 is formed in the presser bar joint portion 6 and the fixing portion is provided, and any structure may be employed as long as the sewing machine presser foot joint portion 5 can be adjusted in the height direction and the rotational direction with respect to the presser bar joint portion 6 and the sewing machine presser foot joint portion 5 and the presser bar joint portion 6 can be fixed and/or temporarily fixed after the adjustment.
Fig. 4 (see also fig. 1) shows a mode in which a unit 15, which is assembled by integrating the sewing machine presser foot 4, the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5, and the presser bar joint part 6, is attached to the attachment structure 8 of the presser bar 3.
A cylindrical hollow portion 16 is formed with a predetermined length on the lower surface side of the plunger 3 (the side of the attachment unit 15), and a thin portion 17 that becomes a thin wall surface is formed in a partial region of the outer peripheral surface of the hollow portion 16. The thin portion 17 is formed with a ball hole 18 penetrating the hollow portion 16. The ball holes 18 are sized and shaped to: when the balls 19 are disposed in the ball holes 18, the outer peripheral surfaces of the balls 19 protrude.
The balls 19 are disposed in the ball holes 18, and the plate spring portion 20 is disposed on the back surface of the balls 19, that is, in a direction facing the ball holes 18, and the plate spring portion 20 elastically presses at least the outer periphery of the balls 19 to elastically protrude the balls 19 from the ball holes 18. The plate spring portion 20 has a plate spring hole 21 formed therein and having a diameter smaller than that of the ball 19 so as to be elastically pressed from the back surface of the ball 19 with a suitable strength. However, the plate spring hole 21 may not be provided depending on the hardness of the material of the plate spring portion 20 or the required pressing strength of the ball 19 when the ball 19 is disposed in the ball hole 18.
Further, a cutout portion 22 is formed at the lower end portion of the hollow portion 16 of the plunger 3, and the cutout portion 22 is engaged with a rotation stopper portion 24 formed to protrude from the plunger joint portion 6, which will be described later.
A protruding portion 23 is formed on the side of the strut joint portion 6 opposite to the male screw threaded portion 14, and the protruding portion 23 is inserted into a hollow portion 16 formed on the lower side of the strut 3. A concave engaging portion 25 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the protruding portion 23, and a rotation stop portion 24 is formed, the engaging portion 25 is detachably engaged (one-touch) with the ball 19 elastically protruding on the inner peripheral surface of the hollow portion 16 when the protruding portion 23 is inserted into the hollow portion 16 of the pressure lever 3, and the rotation stop portion 24 is engaged with the notch portion 22. The rotation stoppers 24 are formed to protrude from both ends of the protruding portion 23 in the vertical direction when viewed from the vertical direction of the protruding portion 23. The cutout portions 22 are formed in accordance with the number, angle, and shape of the protruding portions 23.
With the above configuration, when the protruding portion 23 of the strut joint portion 6 is inserted into the hollow portion 16 of the strut 3, the ball 19 and the engaging portion 25 are elastically engaged, and the notch portion 22 and the rotation stopper portion 24 are engaged, so that the unit 15 can be attached to and detached from the strut 3 in a one-touch manner without rotating.
Further, although the configuration in which the hollow portion 16, the thin portion 17, the ball hole 18, the notch portion 22 are formed in the plunger 3, and the ball 19 is disposed in the ball hole 18 and the plate spring portion 20 is disposed outside the ball 19 is described, and the configuration in which the protrusion 23 is formed in the plunger joint portion 6 and the rotation stop portion 24 and the engaging portion 25 are formed in the protrusion 23 is described, the configuration in which the protrusion 23 is formed in the plunger 3, the rotation stop portion 24 and the engaging portion 25 are formed in the protrusion 23, the hollow portion 16, the thin portion 17, the ball hole 18, the notch portion 22 is formed in the plunger joint portion 6, and the ball 19 is disposed in the ball hole 18 and the plate spring portion 20 is disposed outside the ball 19 may be adopted. Further, since the structure is sufficient if the plunger 3 and the plunger joint portion 6 can be attached and detached (in a one-touch manner) without rotating when they are attached together, the ball hole 18, the ball 19, the plate spring portion 20, the notch portion 22, the protruding portion 23, the rotation stopper portion 24, and the engaging portion 25 are not essential, and any structure may be employed if the plunger 3 and the plunger joint portion 6 are attached and detached (in a one-touch manner) without rotating when they are attached together. For example, the plate spring portion 20 may be an elastic body other than a plate spring, and the balls 19 may be protruding portions other than ball shapes, or the elastic body may elastically protrude the protruding portions by a structure other than the above-described structure.
As shown in fig. 5 (see also fig. 1 to 4), after the sewing machine presser foot 4 is attached to the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 (unit 12), the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 (unit 12) is attached to the presser bar joint part 6 (unit 15), and the presser bar joint part 6 is attached to the presser bar 3, that is, after the entire structure of the present invention is completed, the temporary fixing of the fixing part 7 (nut) that is temporarily fixed is released, the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 screwed to the presser bar joint part 6 is rotated, the rotation direction of the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 is adjusted (finely adjusted) while the height of the sewing machine presser foot 4 is adjusted, the height and the rotation direction orientation of the sewing machine presser foot 4 are adjusted, and the fixing part 7 (nut) is set to the completely fixed state (formal fastening state).
For the above temporary fixation, the following is shown: after the female thread portion 13 and the male thread portion 14 are screwed together by a predetermined amount, the fixing portion 7 is rotated toward the surface of the sewing machine presser foot contact head portion 5 on which the female thread portion 13 other than the female thread portion 13 is formed to such an extent that a predetermined frictional force is generated between the lower surface of the nut as the fixing portion 7 and the surface of the sewing machine presser foot contact head portion 5 on which the female thread portion 13 other than the female thread portion 13 is formed and the fixing portion 7 can still rotate, thereby temporarily fixing the unit 12 and the presser bar joint portion 6 with respect to the fixing portion 7. However, it is needless to say that the female screw thread portion 13 and the male screw thread portion 14 may be screwed only by a predetermined amount without temporarily fixing the fixing portion 7 when temporarily fixing the unit 12 or the sewing machine presser foot joint portion 5 and the presser bar joint portion 6, or the fixing portion 7 may be used only in the completely fixed state (the fully fastened state). Either way, as described above, is temporary fixation.
In the present invention, as described above, the sewing machine presser foot 4 is attached to the sewing machine presser foot attachment part 5 (the constituting unit 12), so that even the sewing machine presser foot 4 having low processing accuracy such as all kinds of sewing machine presser feet 4 or the mounting groove 9 can be fixed extremely stably without shaking, further, after the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 (unit 12) is mounted on the presser bar joint part 6 (unit 15) and the presser bar joint part 6 is mounted on the presser bar 3, that is, after the whole structure of the present invention is mounted, the temporary fixing of the fixing part 7 (nut) which is temporarily fixed is released, this achieves the effect of finely adjusting the height of the sewing machine presser foot 4 and also finely adjusting the direction of rotation of the sewing machine presser foot head portion 5 to adjust the height and direction of rotation of the sewing machine presser foot 4. Thereafter, the fixing portion 7 is set to a completely fixed state (a fully fastened state).
Next, fig. 6 to 7 show the method of mounting and adjusting the members of the adjustment structure of the presser foot of the sewing machine according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 6, the method for adjusting a sewing machine presser foot according to the present invention includes a step of attaching the sewing machine presser foot 4 and the presser foot 2 together (step one), a step of attaching the presser foot 2 and the presser bar 3 together (step two), and a step of adjusting the height direction and the rotational direction orientation of the sewing machine presser foot 4 by the presser foot 2 (step three).
As shown in FIG. 7, the more detailed sewing machine presser foot adjusting method includes a step of fixing the sewing machine presser foot 4 and the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 together (step one), a step of temporarily fixing the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 (step two), a step of detachably mounting the presser bar joint part 6 and the presser bar 3 (one touch) without rotating (step three), a step of releasing the temporary fixation between the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 (step four), a step of adjusting the height direction and the rotation direction orientation of the sewing machine presser foot 4 by adjusting the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 in a state where the temporary fixation between the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 is released (step five), and a step of fixing the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 to the presser bar joint part 6 after the sewing machine presser foot joint part 5 and the presser bar joint part 6 are adjusted And (step six).
The present invention achieves the effect of fixing the presser foot 4 of all kinds or the presser foot 4 of a sewing machine having low processing accuracy extremely stably without shaking by the above-described method for adjusting the presser foot of a sewing machine, and also achieves the effect of adjusting the height of the presser foot 4 and the direction of the rotation direction of the presser foot 4.
The above-described adjustment structure and method of the sewing machine presser foot are techniques for finely adjusting the height and the direction of rotation of the sewing machine presser foot 4, and the rough adjustment of the height and the direction of rotation of the sewing machine presser foot 4 may be a method of adjusting the mounting height and the mounting angle of the presser bar 3 described in the related art.
The entire constituent material of the present invention is applicable to all materials such as metal, resin, and wood.
