In addition, the embodiments of the present application described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings are exemplary and are only for the purpose of explaining the embodiments of the present application, and are not to be construed as limiting the present application.
The following disclosure provides many different embodiments or examples for implementing different features of the application. In order to simplify the disclosure of the present application, specific example components and arrangements are described below. Of course, they are merely examples and are not intended to limit the present application. Moreover, the present application may repeat reference numerals and/or letters in the various examples, such repetition is for the purpose of simplicity and clarity and does not in itself dictate a relationship between the various embodiments and/or configurations discussed.
Referring to fig. 1 to fig. 3, an electronic device 1000 according to the present embodiment includes a housing assembly 100, a flexible display 200, and a rolling device 300. Both the flexible display screen 200 and the rolling device 300 can be disposed on the housing assembly 100. The flexible display screen 200 is used for displaying information, and the rolling device 300 is used for rolling and releasing the flexible display screen 200.
It is understood that the electronic device 1000 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes, but is not limited to, a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a tablet, or other portable electronic devices, and the electronic device 1000 is taken as an example of a mobile phone herein.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5, the housing assembly 100 includes a first housing 10, a second housing 20 and a locking mechanism 30, the first housing 10 is used for connecting with the flexible display 200, and the second housing 20 is slidably connected with the first housing 10. The second housing 20 slides relative to the first housing 10 between a first position and a second position.
When the second housing 20 is in the first position, a portion of the flexible display screen 200 is hidden within the housing assembly 100. When the second housing 20 is in the second position, the portion of the flexible display 200 hidden within the housing assembly 100 at least partially protrudes outside the housing assembly 100. A locking mechanism 30 is connected to the first and second housings 10 and 20, the locking mechanism 30 being used to lock the second housing 20 when the second housing 20 is in the first position or the second position.
It can be understood that, since the first housing 10 is slidably connected to the second housing 20, the size of the flexible display 200 exposed outside the housing assembly 100 is changed during the relative sliding of the first housing 10 and the second housing 20. For example, the size of the flexible display 200 exposed outside the housing assembly 100 increases during the sliding of the second housing 20 from the first position to the second position with respect to the first housing 10. Likewise, the size of the flexible display 200 exposed outside the housing assembly 100 is reduced during the sliding of the second housing 20 relative to the first housing 10 from the second position to the first position.
When the size of the flexible display screen 200 exposed outside the housing assembly 100 is changed, if the display interface of the flexible display screen 200 is not changed, the display screen of the flexible display screen 200 is incomplete or a part of the flexible display screen 200 exposed outside the housing assembly 100 is partially blacked, which greatly affects the normal application of the electronic device 1000 by the user.
In the housing assembly 100 and the electronic device 1000 according to the embodiment of the application, the locking mechanism 30 can lock the second housing 20 at the first position or the second position, so that the second housing 20 can be prevented from sliding relative to the first housing 10, and since the flexible display 200 is connected to the housing assembly 100, the flexible display 200 can be prevented from moving under the condition that the second housing 20 is locked, so that the external dimension of the flexible display 200 exposed out of the housing assembly 100 remains unchanged, and the display effect of the flexible display 200 is ensured.
In the present embodiment, the first position of the second casing 20 may be a position where the second casing 20 cannot slide relative to the first casing 10, and the size of the flexible display 200 exposed outside the casing assembly 100 is the smallest, as shown in fig. 1. The second position of the second casing 20 may be a position where the second casing 20 cannot slide back and forth with respect to the first casing 10, and at this time, the size of the flexible display 200 exposed outside the casing assembly 100 is the largest, for example, as shown in fig. 2.
It is noted that the second housing 20 can be locked in both the first position and the second position, or that the locking mechanism 30 locks the second housing 20 in the first position when the second housing 20 is in the first position, as shown in fig. 4. When the second housing 20 is in the second position, the locking mechanism 30 locks the second lockable in the second position, as shown in fig. 6 and 7.
The locking of the second housing 20 in the first position and the second position means that the second housing 20 is fixed with respect to the first housing 10 when at least one of the first housing 10 and the second housing 20 is not subjected to an external force or is subjected to an external force less than a threshold value. Accordingly, it can be understood that, in some embodiments, when at least one of the first and second cases 10 and 20 is subjected to an external force greater than or equal to a threshold value, the second case 20 may be unlocked so that the second case 20 may slide with respect to the first case 10.
Referring to fig. 8, in the present embodiment, the first housing 10 may have a substantially rectangular shape. The first case 10 may be formed with a mounting cavity (not shown). The mounting cavity is configured to at least partially receive the second housing 20 and other electronic components of the electronic device 1000, such as a motherboard, a battery, and the like. The first housing 10 may protect other components mounted in the mounting cavity.
The first case 10 includes a first support plate 11 and a first side plate 12 connecting edges of the first support plate 11. The first support plate 11 is used to support the flexible display 200 so that the flexible display 200 maintains a flat state. The first side plate 12 is slidably connected to the second housing 20. In the embodiment of the present application, the number of the first side plates 12 is two, and the two first side plates 12 are respectively located at two opposite edges of the first supporting plate 11.
The second housing 20 is positioned at one side of the first housing 10, and the second housing 20 may have a substantially rectangular body shape. The second case 20 is at least partially received within the first case 10. When the second housing 20 is slid to the side away from the first housing 10, the second housing 20 is slid at least partially out of the first housing 10. It is understood that, in the present embodiment, the second case 20 may be entirely or partially received within the first case 10 when the second case 20 is slid to the first position to the side where the first case 10 is located. When the second housing 20 is slid to a side away from the first housing 10, the second housing 20 is partially slid out of the first housing 10.
The second case 20 includes a second support plate 21 and a second side plate 22 connected to an edge of the second support plate 21, the first support plate 11 and the second support plate 21 are disposed opposite to each other, and the first side plate 12 and the second side plate 22 are slidably disposed. The flexible display 200 is laid on the second support plate 21. In the embodiment of the present application, the number of the second side plates 22 is two, and the two second side plates 22 are respectively located at two opposite edges of the second support plate 21.
It should be noted that in the description of the present application, such as the "first case" and the "second case" described above, the terms "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and do not indicate that the case assembly 100 has only two cases, nor does it imply that the first case 10 is more important than the second case 20, or that the terms "first" and "second" are not to be interpreted as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of indicated technical features. Thus, a feature defined as "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more features. In the description of the present application, "a plurality" means two or more unless specifically limited otherwise.
In some embodiments, the locking mechanism 30 has elasticity, and the locking mechanism 30 is elastically movable to lock the second housing 20 when the second housing 20 is in the first position or the second position. As such, the locking mechanism 30 having elasticity easily locks the second housing 20 and allows the second housing 20 to be easily unlocked, thereby allowing the second housing 20 to be more easily moved between the first position and the second position.
It should be noted that the locking mechanism 30 has elasticity, which may mean that each part of the locking mechanism 30 has elasticity, or that some part of the locking mechanism 30 has elasticity. For example, where the locking mechanism 30 includes a plurality of removable parts, at least one of the parts is resilient. The object that this application indicates has elasticity, indicates that the object can form the displacement volume under the effect of external force to resume the original state after external force disappears.
Referring to fig. 5 and 7, in some embodiments, the locking mechanism 30 includes an elastic member 31 and a locking member 32 connected to the elastic member 31. The elastic member 31 serves to provide a force to the locking member 32 so that the locking member 32 locks the second housing 20 when the second housing 20 is in the first position or the second position.
Thus, the locking member 32 can lock the second housing 20 by the elastic member 31, which is easy to realize and can reduce the cost of the locking mechanism 30. Specifically, the elastic member 31 may be a spring or a leaf spring, or may be an element having elasticity, such as rubber or silicone rubber. The locking member 32 may be a rigid body, or the locking member 32 may be difficult to deform, and the locking member 32 may be made of a rigid material such as ceramic, polyoxymethylene plastic, etc. The locking member 32 is movable by the elastic member 31 to lock the second housing 20.
The locking member 32 may have a column shape, a sheet shape, or the like, as long as the locking member 32 can lock the second housing 20, and the specific shape of the second housing 20 is not limited herein. In addition, the locking member 32 and the elastic member 31 may be detachably connected or may not be detachably connected, and the specific connection manner of the locking member 32 and the elastic member 31 is not limited herein. It will be appreciated that in this embodiment, the locking mechanism 30 comprises a plurality of parts.
Further, referring to fig. 5 and 7, in some embodiments, the locking mechanism 30 is disposed on the first housing 10, the second housing 20 is formed with a first engaging structure 23 and a second engaging structure 24 spaced apart from the first engaging structure 23, and when the second housing 20 is located at the first position, the locking member 32 is engaged in the first engaging structure 23 to lock the second housing 20 at the first position. When the second housing 20 is located at the second position, the locking member 32 is snapped in the second snapping structure 24 to lock the second housing 20 at the second position.
In this way, the locking member 32 is easily connected to the second case 20 by means of a snap-fit, so that the locking member 32 is easily locked to the second case 20. Specifically, as shown in fig. 5, the first housing 10 is formed with a mounting groove 13, and the locking mechanism 30 is disposed in the mounting groove 13. The first case 10 is also formed with a coupling hole 14 communicating with the mounting groove 13, and the locking member 32 is penetrated in the coupling hole 14. The locking piece 32 abuts against the elastic piece 31 and can move in the connecting hole 14 in the depth direction of the connecting hole 14. When the elastic member 31 is in a compressed state, the elastic member 31 can provide a force to the locking member 32, so that the head of the locking member 32 can abut against the first engaging structure 23 or the second engaging structure 24, thereby enabling the locking member 32 to engage with the first engaging structure 23 or the second engaging structure 24.
It should be noted that, the first engaging structure 23 and the second engaging structure 24 are spaced apart from each other, which means that the first engaging structure 23 and the second engaging structure 24 have a predetermined distance.
Of course, in other embodiments, the locking mechanism 30 may be provided at the second housing 20 while the first housing 10 is formed with the first and second engaging structures.
Referring to fig. 5 and 7, in some embodiments, the first engaging structure 23 has a first engaging groove 231, and the second engaging structure 24 has a second engaging groove 241. When the second housing 20 is located at the first position, the locking member 32 is engaged with the first engaging groove 231 to lock the second housing 20 at the first position. When the second housing 20 is located at the second position, the locking member 32 is engaged with the second engaging groove 241 to lock the second housing 20 at the second position.
In this way, the locking members 32 are engaged with the corresponding card slots, so that the second housing 20 can be locked at the corresponding positions, and the mode that the locking members 32 lock the second housing 20 is easily realized. Specifically, the first catching groove 231 may be a circular groove or a trapezoidal groove as long as the locking piece 32 can be caught in the first catching groove 231 and restrict the second housing 20 from sliding with respect to the first housing 10. Similarly, the second locking groove 241 may be a circular groove or a trapezoidal groove. In addition, the shape of the first card slot 231 and the shape of the second card slot 241 may be the same or different.
Further, in order to reduce the fitting friction between the locking member 32 and the card slot, the locking member 32 may be coated with a lubricating material to prevent the locking member 32 from being unable to disengage from the card slot, which may result in the undesirable phenomenon that the second housing 20 cannot be unlocked. It is understood that when the locking pieces 32 are located outside the first and second card slots 231 and 241, the second housing 20 is in an unlocked state, and the second housing 20 can slide with respect to the first housing 10.
Referring to fig. 5 and 7, in some embodiments, the locking element 32 includes a first engaging surface 321, the first engaging structure 23 has a second engaging surface 232 surrounding a first engaging groove 231, and the second engaging structure 24 has a third engaging surface 242 surrounding a second engaging groove 241. When the second housing 20 is located at the first position, the first engaging surface 321 engages with the second engaging surface 232 to block the second housing 20 from sliding to the second position. When the second shell 20 is located at the second position, the second engaging surface 232 engages with the third engaging surface 242 to block the second shell 20 from sliding in a direction away from the first position. In this way, the locking member 32 can lock the second housing 20 at the first position by engaging the first engaging surface 321 with the second engaging surface 232, and can lock the second housing 20 at the second position by engaging the first engaging surface 321 with the third engaging surface 242.
Alternatively, the included angle α between the first engaging surface 321 and the sliding direction of the second shell 20 is an acute angle. In addition, an included angle between the first engaging surface 321 and the sliding direction of the second shell 20 is an acute angle, so that the locking member 32 can be smoothly clamped into the first engaging groove 231 or the second engaging groove 241, and can also be smoothly separated from the first engaging groove 231 or the second engaging groove 241.
In the present embodiment, the first engaging surface 321, the second engaging surface 232, and the third engaging surface 242 are all flat surfaces. In other embodiments, the first engaging surface 321 may be an arc-shaped surface, and similarly, the second engaging surface 232 and the third engaging surface 242 may also be specifically shaped surfaces such as arc-shaped surfaces.
In some embodiments, first catch structure 23 and second catch structure 24 are both formed on first side plate 12, and locking mechanism 30 is disposed on second side plate 22. In this way, the locking mechanism 30 is disposed on the second side plate 22, so that the locking mechanism 30 can avoid interfering with other parts of the electronic device 1000, and the electronic device 1000 is more compact. In addition, as discussed above, the first side plate 12 and the second side plate 22 are slidably connected, and therefore, the locking mechanism 30 locks the first case 10 and the second case 20 by locking the first side plate 12 and the second side plate 22, so that the locking mechanism 30 locks the second case 20 more stably.
Referring to fig. 9 and 10, in some embodiments, the locking mechanism 30 includes a resilient piece 33, one end of the resilient piece 33 is fixed to one of the first shell 10 and the second shell 20, and the other end of the resilient piece 33 elastically abuts against the other of the first shell 10 and the second shell 20 to lock the second shell 20 at one of the first position and the second position.
Thus, the lock mechanism 30 is simple in structure and easy to implement. Specifically, the elastic sheet 33 may be a metal sheet, and the elastic sheet 33 may lock or unlock the second housing 20 during deformation of the elastic sheet 33.
In the embodiment of the present application, one end of the elastic sheet 33 is fixed to the first housing 10, and the other end of the elastic sheet 33 is fixed to abut against the second housing 20. It can be understood that when the other end of the elastic piece 33 abuts against the first slot 231, the elastic piece 33 can lock the second shell 20 at the first position.
