Description

Guide rail for a pull-out guide
Technical Field
The invention relates to a guide rail for a pull-out guide, on which at least one holding bracket is provided, which has at least one opening for a fastening device for fixing the guide rail to a component, wherein a rail having at least one raceway for sliding and/or rolling elements is fixed to the at least one holding bracket, and wherein at least one first, protruding embossing is formed on the at least one holding bracket, the pull-out guide and the piece of furniture.
Background
DE 102010060583 a1 discloses a pull-out guide for furniture, in which a fixed rail can be fixed to a side wall of a furniture carcass by means of a retaining bracket. For this purpose, openings are provided in the holding bracket, into which openings fastening means in the form of rivets or screws can be inserted by the fitter. In order to reinforce the holding bracket, embossings are formed on the holding bracket in the vertical direction. In this way, a certain degree of reinforcement can be achieved. However, the side walls of the drawer may move along the retaining brackets when the drawer is installed or removed, causing sharp edges of the protruding portions of the fasteners (such as the heads of the screws) to damage the side walls. This cannot be avoided by the solution shown.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a guide rail for a pull-out guide, which guide rail provides improved protection against damage in the region of at least one holding angle.
This object is solved by a guide rail having the features of claim 1.
The guide rail according to the invention comprises at least one holding bracket on which at least one protruding first embossing and at least one protruding second embossing are formed, which two embossing are angularly aligned with each other and at least partially surround at least one opening for fixing the guide rail on at least two sides. In this way, the embossing may serve to protect the side walls from contact with the protruding portions of the fixture during insertion or removal of the drawer. In case the drawer is moved accordingly, the drawer can be moved along the embossing without the side surfaces coming into contact with e.g. the screw heads.
Preferably, the first embossing and the second embossing protrude at a side facing the track. The embossing may be bar-shaped, in particular linear. Slightly curved embossing is also possible. Thus, the embossing may be produced by rolling or deforming the metal sheet. The height of the embossments, i.e. the area of the embossments protruding from the surface of the holding bracket, may be in the range of 0.5mm to 3mm, in particular 0.8mm to 2 mm. Thereby, the protruding part of the fastening means may be arranged within the embossment, the fastening means preferably protruding from the surface of the holding bracket by a smaller amount than the embossment. In this regard, the first embossing and the second embossing may have different heights. Advantageously, the second embossing may be higher than the first embossing or have the same height.
The embossments may be formed separately or may be connected to each other at nodes.
The fastening means used may be releasable fastening elements, such as screws, nuts, expansion rivets or twist locks, or non-releasable elements, such as rivets, in particular pop rivets, which hold the guide securely on the component by means of the protruding regions. Therefore, in the following, the fastening is described by way of example only with screws.
In the case of a rail, the bracket may be manufactured separately from the rail and connected, for example, by welding or other fastening means. Alternatively, the holding bracket may be formed integrally with the rail. In this case, a single holding bracket may be provided, or a plurality of spaced-apart holding brackets may be provided.
Preferably, at least the second embossing is formed longer in the longitudinal direction of the rail than the area with the opening, at which the mounting device can be fixed. For example, one to ten openings may be provided in the longitudinal direction of the mounting bracket, which are recessed into specific areas on the mounting bracket. The embossing in the longitudinal direction may be formed slightly longer than this area to avoid contact between the side wall of the drawer and the head of the screw screwed into one of these openings. This allows the drawer to slide along the embossments if desired.
The embossments may form an L-shape, U-shape, H-shape, O-shape, 8-shape or frame on the corner brackets. The two embossings do not have to be aligned at right angles to each other but may also be at other angles to each other, in particular they may also be formed in an arcuate shape. The embossing can also be designed in other geometric shapes, such as diamonds or parallelograms, or in free shapes.
Embossing is the deformation of a metal sheet that can be constructed by a punch or roller. In this case, the embossing is not a step on the metal sheet, but a flat part which is connected to the holding angle on opposite sides in each case. Preferably, the distance between the first and/or second embossment and the at least one opening is less than 6mm, in particular between 0.5mm and 4mm, to position the embossment as close as possible to the opening and thus to the screw head.
In particular, the guide rail according to the invention is used in a pull-out guide on which at least one further rail is movably mounted via sliding and/or rolling elements. The drawer slide may be designed as a fully extended slide with three rails or as a partially extended slide with only two rails. Such drawer slides are preferably mounted on the side walls of the furniture body so as to movably support the drawer element. Alternatively, the drawer slide may be fixed to the household appliance.

Detailed Description
The piece of furniture 1 comprises a furniture body 2 on which one or more drawers 3 are movably mounted. For this purpose, a pull-out guide 5 is provided in each case, which is fixed to the side wall 4 of the furniture carcass 2.
As can be seen from the illustration in fig. 3, the pull-out guide 5 comprises a holding bracket 6 which is arranged on the front side of the pull-out guide 5 and is screwed to the side wall 4 by means of a screw 8. For this purpose, a plurality of openings 7 are cut into the holding bracket 6, which are arranged in one or more rows in the longitudinal direction and which, depending on the installation situation, can be occupied by one or more screws 8 in order to fix the pull-out guide 5 to the side wall 4.
In the region of the opening 7, a strip-shaped embossing 9 is provided which extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of the holding bracket 6 and, viewed in the longitudinal direction, is longer than the region with the opening 7. A strip-shaped embossing 9 extending in the longitudinal direction is connected on opposite sides to vertical embossing 10, respectively, which is also of strip-shaped design, the embossing 9 and 10 merging into each other and being connected to each other at joints or intersections.
In this case, the embossings 9 and 10 project towards the inside of the furniture body 2 and have a height of between 0.5mm and 3mm, which is higher than the head portion of the screw 8 screwed into the opening 7, as also shown in fig. 4. The screw 8 on the side wall 4 protrudes from the surface on the leg of the holding bracket 6 by an amount less than the embossings 9 or 10.
In this case, the embossings 9 and 10 are produced by deforming the metal sheet of the holding bracket 6, for example by means of a punch or a roller. In the illustrated embodiment, the embossings 9 and 10 are formed in an H-shape in plan view. The opening is thus surrounded on three sides by the embossings 9 and 10.
If the drawer 3 is to be removed from or inserted into the furniture carcass 2, the side walls 30 of the drawer 3 may be damaged, in particular at the front retaining bracket 6, if they come into contact with the pointed head of the screw 8. To prevent this, as shown in fig. 5A, 5B and 5C, the embossings 9 and 10 protect the side wall 30 so that when the side wall 30 is inclined and abuts against the holding bracket 6, it cannot contact the head of the screw 8, but only one of the embossings 9 and 10, the surface of the embossings being rounded, so that damage to the surface can be avoided.
In fig. 6, the pull-out guide 5 is shown in detail. The pull-out guide 5 comprises a guide rail with a holding bracket 6. Preferably, the holding bracket 6 is integral with the rail 11 and is made of a single metal plate. A plurality of raceways are formed on the rail 11, on which sliding and/or rolling elements are guided to movably support the center rail and the running rail 12. Further, a self-extension 13 is provided on the pull-out guide 5 to maintain the running rail 12 in the retracted position.
The holding bracket 6 extends along substantially the entire length of the rail 11. It is also possible to provide two spaced-apart holding brackets 6, which are connected to one another via a rail 11. Two regions with openings 7 are provided on the holding bracket 6, one region with openings 7 being provided near the front edge of the holding bracket 6 and one region with openings 7 being provided in the rear region. As described above, the embossings 9 and 10 are formed in two areas. It is also possible to provide the embossings 9 and 10 only in the front region, without forming the embossings around the opening 7 in the rear region, if tilting and associated contact at the holding bracket 6 can be excluded due to the length-to-width ratio of the drawer in the rear region during insertion or removal of the drawer.
Fig. 7 shows a modified guide rail comprising a holding bracket 6 and an integrated rail 11. As described above, two areas having the opening 7 are formed on one leg of the holding bracket 6. In addition to the embossing 9 in the longitudinal direction of the rail 11 and the two embossing 10 extending perpendicular thereto, a further embossing 14 is provided, which also extends in the longitudinal direction and connects the two embossing 10 extending perpendicular thereto.
Fig. 8 shows a further embodiment of the guide rail, in which, in contrast to the previous embodiments, two vertical bar-shaped embossings 10 are provided on the legs of the holding bracket 6, each of the embossings surrounding an area with an opening 7. These vertical bar-shaped embossings 10 are interconnected in the lower region by embossings 14 in the longitudinal direction of the rail 11. Therefore, compared to fig. 7, the central embossing 9 is omitted.
Fig. 9 shows a further embodiment of the guide rail, wherein, in addition to the longitudinally extending embossings 9 and 14 shown in fig. 7, further embossings 15 are provided in the longitudinal direction, which embossings are arranged above the opening 7 and connect the two vertical embossings 10 to one another. Thus, the embossings 9, 10, 14, 15 may be L-shaped, U-shaped, H-shaped, O-shaped, 8-shaped or frame-shaped. The individual embossings 9, 10, 14, 15 can therefore also be arranged at different right angles to one another and be designed in other geometric shapes, for example in the form of a diamond or a parallelogram.
In the embodiment shown, the embossings 9, 10, 14, 15 are each formed as linear strips. The embossing may also be formed in an arc or circle or as a free-form surface. The embossing is preferably designed to enclose the region with the opening at least on two sides, preferably also on three sides, so that damage to the side walls 30 of the drawer 3 can be safely avoided.
