Background
The working unit of the mowing robot is a cutter disc rotating at a high speed, and sharp blades are arranged on the cutter disc. There is therefore a need for a mower having an effective guard structure for the cutting unit to prevent injury to the user.
The existing protective structure mostly reduces the height of the peripheral shell or fixes an additional protective structure on the main shell. The reduction in housing height increases safety, but sacrifices the performance of the mower. If the mower meets grass with high ratio and high density in work, the resistance is obviously increased, the driving wheel of the mower slips, the effective mowing performance of the mower is lost, and the grass can be damaged.
In addition, the safety protection structure of the existing mower increases the difficulty in mowing and greatly reduces the efficiency.

When the cutting height of the cutting device needs to be actively adjusted, the outer wheel seat 2 can be driven to rotate for a certain angle through the knob, and the inner wheel seat is driven to move upwards through the spiral protrusion.
Fig. 5 is a sectional view showing the position relationship between the cutting device and the height-limiting adjustment structure when the cutter head is subjected to buoyancy, when the mower encounters a high and dense grassland area, the grass generates upward buoyancy on the cutting device 4, and the cutting device 4 compresses the spring 3, so that the whole cutting device 4 is lifted, and the resistance of the grass to the mower is reduced.
After the mower has passed through a high and dense lawn area, the height of the cutting device is returned to the previous height. After the mower passes through this high and dense grass area multiple times, the final grass height is cut to the set height.
As another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the present invention provides a guard structure on the cutting device that is lower in height than the blades on the cutting device. Therefore, when a human body approaches to the cutting blade, the human body firstly contacts the protective structure fixed on the cutting device, and safe and effective protection is formed on the human body.
In the embodiment, the maximum elastic force of the spring does not exceed the weight of the whole mower after the cutting unit is removed, so that the mower can smoothly float when the cutting device contacts dense grass or ground obstacles during operation, the trafficability characteristic is improved, and the ground objects and the cutting device are prevented from being damaged.
