Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a system for determining the permission level of a video conference and a video conference server. The method comprises the following steps: the video conference system determines that a first video conference participant is online, and a video conference host side in the video conference system acquires speech level information related to the first video conference participant; and after the first video conference participant is on line, the video conference host sends the speech level information related to the first video conference participant. The first video conference participant can speak according to the received speaking grade information, so that the illegal access equipment is prevented from accessing the video conference.
