Background
The connection mode of the membrane shell adapter, the purified water outlet and the membrane element for water treatment at present has the following defects:
firstly, when the membrane element shrinks under the action of the internal pressure of the membrane shell, the adapter is separated from the membrane element to cause internal leakage; as shown in the left pictures of 4 and 5. The installation of the traditional adapter needs to additionally install a plurality of gaskets 7 between the purified water outlet 1 and the adapter 2, so that a gap formed by component tolerance between the sealing end plate 4 of the membrane shell 3 and the membrane element 6 is filled as much as possible, and therefore the phenomenon that after water with pressure P1 enters the membrane shell through the side port 5, the adapter 2 moves towards the sealing end plate 4 under the pushing of pressure difference P1-P2, and the membrane element 6 moves reversely when the pressure difference occurs, so that the adapter is separated from a central tube of the membrane element 6, or a sealing ring on the adapter slides to a flaring area at the end part of the central tube, sealing failure is caused, and internal leakage occurs. As shown in figure 3, the middle section D2 of the adapter is matched with the skirt part of the purified water outlet to form a water filling chamber A, and the pipe diameter D3 end of the adapter is matched with the central pipe of the membrane element.
As shown in the right schematic view of FIG. 5, since D1 is less than D3, the adapter will cling to the membrane element center tube and move with the membrane element contraction driven by the pressure differential P1-P2 between the membrane housing internal pressure P1 and the center tube internal pressure P2. The sealing between the adapter and the membrane element is ensured. Meanwhile, the longer D1 section of the adapter can provide enough compensation length to ensure the sealing between the adapter and the purified water outlet.
