Although it is generally known that cigarette smokers generally depend on cigarette, the cigarette generates over 4000 harmful chemical substances such as tar, amonia, nicotine, suspended particles, PM2.5, polonium-210, etc. and dozens of carcinogens during combustion, and the harmful substances cause serious indoor pollution and affect human health, and it is the direction of research by researchers to prevent the harmful substances from entering human bodies.
Alginate fiber is prepared through extruding water solution of sodium alginate into water solution of calcium chloride through a spinneret plate, stretching the nascent fiber in hot water, washing with water and drying. The alginate fiber is a natural fiber, and the fiber has more calcium ions, so the fiber has better flame retardant property and can be applied to cigarette filtering scenes.
The traditional cigarette filter stick material is acetate fiber, namely cellulose diacetate, the fiber is mainly used for filtering, and is non-toxic, harmless and excellent in filtering effect, according to the cigarette sales data of 2015, the weight of the cellulose diacetate consumed for cigarettes is at least 6kt, and the discarded filter stick used along is mainly treated in a burning and burying mode, so that the environment is greatly influenced by the traditional filter stick used along, and a biodegradable filtering material is urgently needed to replace the traditional acetate fiber.
Alginate fiber is a natural non-combustible fiber, and the alginate fiber has biodegradability and can be decomposed under outdoor conditions without special treatment, but the application of alginate fiber to cigarettes is rarely mentioned.
Chinese patent grant publication no: CN102524956B discloses a cigarette filter stick containing alginate fibers and a preparation method thereof, wherein a core material of the cigarette filter stick is a alginate fiber bundle (similar yarn) with the diameter of 0.5-4mm, and the preparation method of the alginate fiber filter stick comprises the following steps: spinning the alginate fibers into single yarns by a traditional spinning process and plying to prepare alginate fiber bundles; in the production process of the filter stick, the alginate fiber bundle is drawn to a forming machine through a drawing and positioning device and is added to the center of the filter stick through filter stick forming equipment to prepare a midline filter stick; wherein the circumference of the aluminum bar is 24.25mm, and the diameter of the alginic acid fiber filter core is 0.5-4 mm. Therefore, the invention discloses a structure of a cigarette filter stick, alginic acid fiber is used in the structure, the cigarette filter stick effectively reduces harmful substance components in smoke under the condition that the release amount of tar and nicotine in the smoke of the cigarette is basically unchanged, the removal rate of phenol can reach about 39%, and the removal rate of nitrosamine is about 28%. Meanwhile, on the premise of not changing the smoking style of the cigarette, the smoking quality of the cigarette can be improved by adding the alginate fiber into the filter stick. However, the prior art only uses the alginate fibers as the filter element, and the integral cigarette filter rod lacks the complete degradable performance.
The present disclosure aims to solve the above technical problems in the prior art, and provide a alginate fiber cigarette filter rod and a preparation method thereof, wherein a filter element prepared from alginate fiber has excellent filtering effect, is biodegradable, and is environment-friendly.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above problems, the present disclosure provides a alginate fiber cigarette filter stick and a preparation method thereof, wherein the cigarette filter stick has biodegradable properties, and can effectively filter toxic and harmful gases generated by the combustion of tobacco and some positively charged particles (smoke) generated during the combustion.
The idea of the disclosure is to prepare the alginate fiber, the surface layer structure of the alginate fiber is rough, the specific surface area of the fiber can be effectively improved, and the alginate fiber further has excellent adsorption performance, and meanwhile, the alginate fiber is used for preparing a cigarette filter stick.
The conception of the disclosure is also that the alginic acid fiber is prepared by using wet spinning, and the method for preparing the alginic acid fiber is environment-friendly. The cigarette filter stick is different from the existing cigarette filter stick which uses acetate fiber as the cigarette filter stick, uses organic solvent in the preparation process of the acetate fiber, uses water as the solvent in the preparation of the alginic acid fiber, and does not influence the smoking taste due to the release of non-aqueous solvent in the process of filtering and adsorbing the burning high-temperature smoke.
The idea of the disclosure is that the alginic acid fiber is made into a non-woven fiber sheet-shaped filter material, and the filter element can be obtained by only winding and pressing the sheet-shaped filter material in the process of preparing the filter stick.
The conception of the present disclosure is that the filter material made of the alginate fiber prepared by the present disclosure has excellent flame retardance, and can not be burnt when being prepared into cigarette filters.
Specifically, the disclosure provides a preparation method of alginate fibers, which comprises the following steps: dissolving sodium alginate in water to obtain a sodium alginate solution;
defoaming the sodium alginate solution to obtain a spinning solution;
putting the spinning solution into a spinning tank for wet spinning;
and solidifying and drafting the alginic acid nascent fiber in a solidifying solution to obtain the alginic acid fiber.
In some embodiments, the solidifying fluid comprises calcium chloride; the concentration of the calcium chloride is 2-10 wt%.
The present disclosure cures alginic acid nascent fibers, wherein calcium chloride is used as a curing agent in the curing liquid. Because the negative ions of the calcium chloride are small, the curing speed of the alginic acid fiber is too high, and the shape of the surface of the fiber is compact and smooth.
In some embodiments, the curing liquid further comprises an organic phosphorus flame retardant;
the dosage of the organic phosphorus flame retardant is 2-5%;
the organic phosphorus flame retardant is one or more of phosphate, phosphite and phosphate;
the organic phosphorus flame retardant is decomposed under the condition of high temperature, the phosphorus flame retardant → phosphoric acid → polymetaphosphoric acid, the polymetaphosphoric acid is a stable compound which is not easy to volatilize, a thin glass-shaped or liquid protective layer is formed on the surface layer of the fiber, and meanwhile, the phosphorus flame retardant is provided with a strong dehydrating agent, the polymer surface is isolated from air, and the dehydrated water vapor absorbs a large amount of heat, so that the decomposition speed of the alginic acid fiber is rapidly reduced.
In addition, the alginate fiber contains a large amount of calcium ions, and the calcium ions can be solidified on the surface layer of the fiber under the high-temperature condition, so that the thermal insulation performance is realized, the thermal decomposition of the fiber is reduced, the surface layer structure of the alginate fiber under the high-temperature condition is further kept stable, and the effect of continuously adsorbing harmful gases is realized.
And thirdly, the curing liquid contains an organic phosphorus flame retardant which comprises a phosphorus element, and the element can be adsorbed on the surface of the fiber in the curing process of alginic acid, so that the form of the surface of the fiber is improved, the form of the surface of the fiber is rough, and the absorption of harmful gases is facilitated.
Furthermore, another purpose of the phosphorus-based flame retardant used in the present disclosure is that the polymetaphosphoric acid generated by the phosphorus-based flame retardant at high temperature is a strong dehydrating agent, and can remove the water fixed in alginic acid at high temperature, so as to make the smoke of the burning tobacco more moist and improve the taste of the smoking of the consumer. The traditional cigarette mainly utilizes polyol such as glycerol to improve smoking taste, particularly humidity of smoke, but the polyol is organic in nature, can improve humidity, but can influence the smoking taste of the cigarette.
In some embodiments, the present disclosure also discloses a sheet-form cigarette filter material of alginate fibers.
The cigarette filter material is prepared from the flame-retardant alginate fiber;
in some embodiments, the alginate fiber sheet-shaped cigarette filter material is prepared by a non-woven fabric process using the above flame-retardant alginate fiber;
furthermore, the non-woven fabric process adopts a spunlace non-woven fabric preparation process.
In the spunlace nonwoven fabric process, the spunlace liquid contains calcium salt and sodium salt.
Further, the calcium salt is calcium chloride; the sodium salt is sodium sulfate.
The hydro-entangled non-woven fabric is added in the preparation process of the alginate fiber sheet-shaped cigarette filter material, and when liquid is subjected to hydro-entanglement in the preparation process, the alginate fiber is calcium alginate, and sodium ions can perform particle exchange with calcium ions, so that in the hydro-entangled process, the surface layer of the fiber is damaged, and the surface structure of the fiber in the prepared sheet-shaped cigarette filter material is rough. However, the inventors considered that if the degree of ion exchange between the sodium salt and sodium alginate is too high, the alginate fibers are broken, and the mechanical properties of the resulting sheet material are greatly reduced. In order to ensure the complete shape of the alginate fibers, calcium chloride is also added into the spunlace liquid, so that calcium ions and sodium ions compete on the alginate fibers, and the fiber surfaces are obviously etched under the condition of ensuring the complete structure of the alginate fibers, thereby improving the adsorption capacity of the filter material for cigarette smoke.
Further, in the hydroentangling liquid, the concentration of calcium chloride is 5 to 10% and the concentration of sodium sulfate is less than 1%.
In the process of competing and combining sodium salt and calcium salt, the concentration of calcium is ensured to be obviously higher than that of sodium ions, under the condition, the etching effect on the surface of the alginic acid fiber is achieved, and meanwhile, the alginic acid fiber is ensured not to break, so that the sheet-shaped filtering material has better mechanical property, and the subsequent processing is facilitated.
Meanwhile, the method also considers that the calcium sulfate is slightly soluble in water, the spunlace liquid contains two substances of sodium sulfate and calcium chloride, the calcium sulfate is easily generated in the solution to precipitate, the calcium sulfate in the needling solution is converted too much, and the high-pressure needling injection hole is easily blocked, so that in order to prevent the generation of the calcium sulfate and the separation from the solution, the concentration of the sodium sulfate is regulated to be less than 1%, and under the condition, the obvious separation phenomenon of the calcium sulfate cannot occur in the spunlace liquid.
Further, the concentration of sodium sulfate in the spunlace liquid is 0.1-0.8%, and further, the concentration of sodium sulfate is 0.5-0.8%
After the alginic acid non-woven fabric obtained by the method is subjected to spunlace by using spunlace liquid with sodium ions, partial sodium ions and calcium on the surface of calcium alginate fibers are subjected to particle replacement, the surface of the alginic acid fibers is etched, and the surface of the fibers is rough and uneven. Meanwhile, part of the sodium alginate is attached to the surface of the fiber, and the sodium alginate has positive charges after moisture absorption and is easier to adsorb harmful substances.
Furthermore, the alginic acid fiber comprises sodium alginate, and the sodium alginate has an adsorption effect on positively charged particles, and can efficiently adsorb harmful substances when being used as a cigarette filtering material.
In some embodiments, the present disclosure also provides an alginate fiber cigarette filter rod;
specifically, the alginate fiber cigarette filter stick is prepared by using the alginate fiber sheet-shaped cigarette filter material.
In some embodiments, the present disclosure also provides a method of making an alginate fiber cigarette filter rod;
the preparation method comprises the following steps:
1) preparing alginate fibers;
2) preparing a sheet-shaped cigarette filter material from the alginate fibers in the step 1);
3) the filter stick for cigarettes is prepared by the sheet-shaped cigarette filter material obtained in the step 2).
More specifically, the preparation of the cigarette filter stick is to prepare the cigarette filter stick on a filter stick forming machine.
Compared with the prior art, the method has the following advantages that:
1. compared with the traditional acetate fiber cigarette filter stick, the cigarette filter stick is prepared by using the natural polysaccharide fiber, and the alginic acid fiber of the natural polysaccharide has natural degradability and can be naturally degraded in the environment, so that the problem of pollution of waste cigarette ends to the environment can be remarkably reduced.
2. Compared with the traditional method for controlling the taste of cigarettes by adding polyhydric alcohol and the like into the cigarette filter stick, the method uses a certain amount of phosphorus flame retardant, the flame retardant is converted into the dehydrating agent under the high-temperature condition, meanwhile, the water absorption and moisture retention of the natural alginic acid fiber are very beneficial, and the phosphorus flame retardant can excite the water in the filter stick under the high-temperature condition, so that the purposes of controlling the humidity of the cigarettes and improving the smoking taste of the cigarettes are achieved.
3. Compared with the acetate fiber preparation process, the use of some organic solvents is difficult to avoid, when the acetate fiber is used as the traditional filter stick, the organic solvents can be volatilized under the high temperature condition and can be sucked by consumers, and the organic solvents can generate adverse effects on the taste of the cigarette and the health of the consumers; the alginate fibers of the present disclosure are prepared by using water as a solvent, so that the above problems do not exist.
4. The alginic acid fiber prepared by the method has a rough surface structure, and mainly uses calcium chloride in the fiber preparation process, so that the solidification rate is slowed down, and the surface of the fiber is rough; in addition, the method for preparing the sheet-shaped filter material by using the needle-punched non-woven fabric comprises the steps of adding two salts of calcium chloride and sodium sulfate into a water-punched liquid, and enabling the surface of the alginate fiber to be etched through the competition of calcium salt and sodium salt, so that the specific surface area of the alginate fiber is increased, the filtering performance of the filter material on cigarette smoke is further improved, and the taste of the cigarette is improved.
