Description

Fullerene compositions for hair care
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the chemical arts, particularly to the daily chemical arts, and more particularly to a fullerene composition having hair care effect.
Background
Scientist Kroto, smalley, curl et al in 1985 found C60 fullerenes when studying carbon elements deep in space, and three in 1996 were thus awarded Nobel chemistry. Fullerene, diamond and graphite are allotropes of carbon. C60 is a spherical molecule consisting of 60 carbon atoms, consisting of 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons, each carbon atom and the adjacent three carbon atoms being hybridized by SP2 to form a bond, known as a football alkene, because of the shape of a football.
The large pi bond conjugated system formed by a plurality of P orbits of the fullerene has stronger electron accepting capability, and has excellent free radical scavenging performance, which is called as 'free radical sponge', and also has excellent oxidation resistance due to the unique structure and physical and chemical properties. So that the composition has been widely paid attention to cosmetic materials, biological medicines and the like.
By embedding C60 in surfactants, C60 can still eliminate intracellular active oxygen, inhibit mitochondrial depolarization, activation of cysteine proteases, exposure of phosphatidylserine on cell membranes, and division of DNA, C60 shows the effect of protecting cells from oxidative apoptosis. The C60 liposome complex plays a role in antioxidation by defending UVA from damaging skin structures, cell nuclei and collagen fibers and penetrating human skin tissues, is hundreds times of that of vitamin C, and can quench free radicals.
As external products, there have been reported fullerene-related products such as C60-PVP (patent application Nos. 200480005008.1 and 200580049615.2), in which the content of C60 is not more than 1% due to the preparation process and the limitation of the compounding characteristics of PVP and C60. As another example, patent 201810871219.7, the product of which cannot be directly formulated into essential oil products due to the use of a water-soluble polymer composition. The raw materials used in the patent ZL201811299206.3 are mostly vegetable oil compounded fullerene, and the vegetable oil is directly applied to the hair part to further increase the burden of hair follicles, so that the scalp hair follicles are excessively greasy and blocked.
Fullerenes are nonpolar molecules with strong hydrophobicity and can only be dissolved in nonpolar organic solvents such as toluene, benzene, cyclohexane, chloroform, which are harmful to living organisms. The prior art has a plurality of defects, including complex process, high industrialization cost, no mass production and difficult industrialization; the use of large amounts of organic reagents results in solvent residues; the fullerene and the polymer material or the composition are compounded to influence the later use effect, and are difficult to be absorbed by skin. Therefore, in order to better promote absorption, fullerene is compounded with volatile and absorption-promoting grease, and the compound is easy to be quickly absorbed by scalp in a molecular state, so that the product can be more easily acted on hair follicles, and the effects of better scavenging free radicals, repairing hair follicles, promoting black growth or promoting white hair to turn black so as to inhibit white hair generation are urgently needed to be solved.
