Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of plastic surface treatment, in particular to a plastic part surface electroplating method and a plastic part surface electroplating product. The electroplating method for the surface of the plastic part comprises the following steps: carrying out surface treatment on the plastic mold; forming a plastic part by injection molding according to a set plastic mold, and forming patterns on the surface of the plastic part; activating the surface of the plastic part; and electroplating the plastic part subjected to the activation treatment. The electroplating method for the surface of the plastic part combines the plastic injection treatment, so that the surface of the plastic part subjected to injection molding is suitable for electroplating treatment, and pretreatment processes such as laser treatment and the like are not required to be performed on the surface of the plastic part, so that the steps are simplified, and the time and the cost are saved.

Therefore, the prior art has complex process and complicated steps for electroplating the surface of the plastic part.
In view of the above, there is a need to develop a method for electroplating a surface of a plastic part and a product thereof, so as to solve the problems of complex process and complicated steps of electroplating the surface of the plastic part in the prior art.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a method for electroplating the surface of a plastic part comprises the following steps:
(1) carrying out surface treatment on the plastic mold to generate patterns on the surface of the mold;
(2) forming a plastic part by injection molding according to a set plastic mold, and forming patterns on the surface of the plastic part;
(3) activating the surface of the plastic part;
(4) and electroplating the plastic part subjected to the activation treatment.
Further, the surface treatment in the step (1) is one of sand blasting, chemical texture, electric discharge texture and laser texture.
Further, the part of the plastic mold in contact with the surface of the plastic part needing electroplating in the step (1) is provided with a temperature control unit.
Further, the temperature control unit is a heating coil or a hot/cold water passage.
Further, after the step (2) and before the step (3), the method further comprises the steps of: and cleaning the plastic part.
Furthermore, the plastic part is cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning, cleaning liquid cleaning, ultraviolet cleaning, atmospheric plasma cleaning or wiping cleaning.
Further, in the step (3), an acid or alkali solution is used for activation treatment, or palladium-gold activator is used for activation treatment.
Further, in the step (4), the plastic part is electroplated with copper, nickel or gold to form a metal coating layer.
The invention also provides a product which is produced after the plastic part surface is treated by the electroplating method.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: according to the electroplating method for the surface of the plastic part and the product thereof, patterns are manufactured on the surface of the plastic mould, and plastic injection treatment is combined, so that the surface of the plastic part subjected to injection molding is suitable for electroplating treatment, pretreatment processes such as laser treatment and the like are not required to be performed on the surface of the plastic part, the steps are simplified, and the time and the cost are saved.

For a further understanding of the objects, technical effects and technical means of the present invention, reference will now be made in detail to the following description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, a flow chart of a method for electroplating a surface of a plastic part according to the present invention is shown. The invention provides an electroplating method for the surface of a plastic part, which comprises the following steps:
step 11: the plastic mold is subjected to surface treatment to generate patterns on the surface of the mold, specifically, the part of the plastic mold contacting the surface of the plastic part 30 which needs to be electroplated is subjected to surface treatment, wherein the surface treatment is one of sand blasting, chemical embossing, electric discharge embossing, laser embossing or other processes for generating patterns on the surface of the mold, the part of the plastic mold contacting the plastic part 30 which needs to be electroplated can be provided with a temperature control unit, the temperature control unit is matched with the mold, so that the mold forms the patterns with better effects on the surface of the formed plastic part, and the temperature control unit can be a heating coil or a hot/cooling water channel.
Step 12: according to the plastic part 30 of the plastic mould injection moulding, the pattern 31 is formed on the surface of the plastic part 30, the pattern 31 provides a surface suitable for next activation treatment, and the plastic part 30 is not required to be pretreated by additionally adopting steps such as laser treatment, so that laser treatment stations are saved, wherein the injection temperature, mechanical action and the like set by the plastic mould are required to be set according to the injection-molded plastic raw material.
Step 13: the injection molded plastic part 30 is activated by acid and alkali solution, and the oxide film layer and the release agent on the surface of the plastic part 30 are removed by the erosion action of the acid and alkali solution, so that the surface of the plastic part 30 is activated, and the adhesion performance of a subsequent electroplating film layer is improved.
Step 14: and (3) electroplating the plastic part 30 after the activation treatment, wherein the plastic part 30 can be electroplated with metal copper, nickel or gold to form a metal coating layer 32, so as to achieve the metal appearance effect or the conductive effect.
Wherein, the method further comprises the following steps after the step 12 and before the step 13: the plastic part 30 is cleaned to remove contaminants such as oil stains on the surface of the plastic part 30, and the plastic part 30 may be cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning, cleaning solution cleaning, ultraviolet cleaning, atmospheric plasma cleaning, or wiping cleaning, but not limited thereto.
Fig. 2 is a flow chart showing a method for electroplating a surface of a plastic part according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
Step 21: the plastic mold part contacting the surface of the plastic part 30 to be electroplated is subjected to discharge texturing treatment to generate patterns on the mold surface, and the plastic mold part is provided with a hot/cooling water channel, so that the effects of rapid temperature rise and temperature reduction can be achieved, and the plastic part 30 can achieve a better pattern effect during molding.
Step 22: the plastic part 30 is injection molded according to a set plastic mold, as shown in fig. 3, the surface of the molded plastic part 30 has a pattern 31.
Step 23: after the plastic part 30 is taken out of the plastic mold, the plastic part 30 is cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning to remove surface contaminants.
Step 24: as shown in fig. 4, the injection molded plastic part 30 is activated by an acidic solution, which may be a sulfonate solution, for 30-60 seconds, and the temperature of the activator is normal temperature, to improve the adhesion of the subsequent metal coating layer 32; of course, in other embodiments, the palladium-gold activator may be used and the immersion plating may be performed in the palladium-gold activator for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Step 25: as shown in fig. 5, the plastic part 30 after activation is electroplated, during electroplating, the plastic part 30 is placed in an electroplating solution containing copper sulfate to be electroplated with copper, and the electroplating time is determined according to the product requirements, so as to plate a metal plating layer 32, i.e. a copper film layer, on the surface of the plastic part.
In addition, the invention also provides a product, wherein the product is produced after the plastic part surface is processed by the electroplating method, and the product can be applied to electronic equipment.
In conclusion, the beneficial effects of the invention are as follows: according to the electroplating method for the surface of the plastic part and the product thereof, patterns are manufactured on the surface of the plastic mould, and plastic injection treatment is combined, so that the surface of the plastic part 30 subjected to injection molding is suitable for electroplating treatment, pretreatment processes such as laser treatment and the like are not required to be performed on the surface of the plastic part 30, the steps are simplified, and the time and the cost are saved.

Claims (9)
1. A method for electroplating the surface of a plastic part is characterized by comprising the following steps:
(1) carrying out surface treatment on the plastic mold to generate patterns on the surface of the mold;
(2) forming a plastic part by injection molding according to a set plastic mold, and forming patterns on the surface of the plastic part;
(3) activating the surface of the plastic part;
(4) and electroplating the plastic part subjected to the activation treatment.
2. The method for electroplating the surface of a plastic part according to claim 1, wherein the surface treatment in step (1) is one of sand blasting, chemical texturing, electrical discharge texturing and laser texturing.
3. The method for electroplating the surface of a plastic part according to claim 1, wherein the portion of the plastic mold contacting the surface of the plastic part to be electroplated in step (1) is provided with a temperature control unit.
4. The method for plating the surface of a plastic part according to claim 3, wherein the temperature control unit is a heating coil or a hot/cold water passage.
5. The method for electroplating the surface of the plastic part according to claim 1, wherein the method further comprises, after the step (2) and before the step (3): and cleaning the plastic part.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein the plastic part is cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning, cleaning solution cleaning, ultraviolet cleaning, atmospheric plasma cleaning or wiping.
7. The method for electroplating the surface of a plastic part according to claim 1, wherein the step (3) is performed by activating with an acid or alkali solution, or activating with a palladium-gold activator.
8. The method for electroplating the surface of a plastic part according to claim 1, wherein the plastic part is electroplated with copper, nickel or gold in step (4) to form a metal coating.
9. A product produced by the method for plating the surface of the plastic part according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
