The method can effectively detect and identify the roller surface microcracks and other defects to modify the roller, avoids quality mismatch caused by mounting, efficiently and completely realizes the repairing of the leveling roller and the detection of the roll gap, and reduces the waiting time of the leveling roller.

The flattening process is the final process of the cold-rolled stainless steel strip and plays an important role in the surface quality of the stainless steel.
The prior art is limited to immature detection means and repair methods, defects such as micro cracks on the surface of the leveling roller can not be detected frequently, and the quality of products is unqualified after the leveling roller is arranged on a machine. In the serious case, even if the defects of the roller surface can be seen by naked eyes, the anecdotal repair method and the detection method are not mature, the repair period is long, and the leveling roller is detained on site and even stays for the roller.

and detecting whether cracks exist on two sides of the surface of the leveling roller or not by adopting dye penetrant inspection, and repairing the cracks on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller by adopting a large chamfering method.
The middle part of the surface of the leveling roll refers to an area formed by points with the distance from a point on the effective surface of the leveling roll to the edge of the effective surface being more than or equal to 50mm, and the two sides of the surface of the leveling roll refer to the areas of the effective surface of the leveling roll except the middle part of the surface of the leveling roll.

The large chamfer method repairing means that crack areas on two sides of the surface of the leveling roller are chamfered by using a grinding wheel, then whether cracks exist in the crack areas on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller or not is detected by adopting dye penetrant inspection, if the number of chamfer degrees is increased, the chamfer angles are continuously opened in the crack areas on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller until the cracks do not exist in the crack areas on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller, and then the non-crack areas on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller are chamfered by using the grinding wheel, wherein the chamfer angles are the same as those in the crack areas on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the method can effectively detect and identify the roller surface microcracks and other defects to modify the roller, avoids quality mismatch caused by mounting, efficiently and completely realizes the repairing of the leveling roller and the detection of the roll gap, and reduces the waiting time of the leveling roller.

The stainless steel surface is required to be leveled by a leveling machine in the final process of cold rolling the stainless steel strip, and if the leveling roller in the leveling machine has some defects, the stainless steel surface after passing through the leveling machine is still uneven and cannot meet the requirements.
In the actual use process, if the surface of the leveling roller has defects such as micro cracks, the detection is difficult, and the quality of the product is unqualified.

Firstly, detecting whether cracks exist in the middle of the surface of the leveling roller by adopting eddy current inspection, wherein the middle of the surface of the leveling roller is an area formed by points with the distance of more than or equal to 50mm from a point on the effective surface of the leveling roller to the edge of the effective surface, and is shown in figure 1.
When the crack exists in the middle of the surface of the leveling roller, the crack can be repaired by a grooving method.
As shown in fig. 1, a crack 3 exists in the middle of the surface of the leveling roller, a grinding wheel is used for slotting the interior of the leveling roller at the roller surface defect position of the crack area, then eddy current flaw detection is carried out until the roller surface defect of the crack area does not exist any more, and then the whole roller surface is ground by the grinding wheel until the whole roller surface is flush with the slotting of the roller surface defect area of the crack area.
Note that: when the leveling roller repaired in the step is used, the leveling roller needs to be readjusted, installed and adjusted. The chamfer angle is generally about 45 degrees, but not more than 60 degrees, and the leveling roller needs to be replaced when the chamfer angle exceeds 60 degrees.
The condition that the quality is unqualified can be eliminated by using the roller surface micro-cracks which cannot be seen by naked eyes on a machine.

and detecting whether cracks exist on two sides of the surface of the leveling roller or not by adopting dye penetrant inspection, and repairing the cracks on the two sides of the surface of the leveling roller by adopting a large chamfering method.
